4* for me. Good story line and characters, I enjoyed this book more than the first. Definitely recommended this book to my friends and book group.

Owning You Angel pulls you right into a whirlwind of emotions, with a childhood crush that turns into a fierce, complicated love story. I really liked how the author didn't rush the slow-burn tension between the characters—it made every stolen glance and heated argument feel real and earned. Watching the walls slowly come down between them was so satisfying, especially because the characters felt so raw and human. I loved reading it because it was messy in all the right ways, and it reminded me that sometimes love shows up even when you're sure you’ve given up on it.

💥 Talk about SIZZLING tension you could cut with a butter knife! I dove into Owning You Angel thinking I'd just read a chapter or two and BAM—five hours later I was still glued to the pages. 😂 Childhood crush, brother’s bestie, enemies-to-lovers fireworks...HELLO, this book had everything! If you’re into angsty feels, toe-curling chemistry, and rooting for two stubborn people who were obviously made for each other, you’re gonna love every second. 🧨💙

I tried really hard to get into this book but had to DNF at about 45%.
I couldn’t get on with the writing style and found it too clunky for me. The characters were just there and I didn’t feel like there was any dimension to them except how tortured the main two characters were. The book and premise did intrigue me and I wanted to get into it but unfortunately this one is not for me.

I received this book and provide an honest review.

Second chances, extremes in emotions and circumstance, and resolving past actions all intertwine in a tale of love, obsession, stalking, manipulation, abuse, denial, admitting the truth, and yes, extremes. The Dom becomes the Sub, but maybe they always were a bit of both.
