Sylvia Day never fails to bring it when it comes to romance! Ireland is no exception. This is the first book in the Crossroads Series. Much like her journey with the Crossfire series, this one brought suspense, naughtiness, loyalty to family, super hot characters and most importantly, an epic sized cliffhanger. A cliffhanger so bad that you find yourself on Amazon immediately preordering the next installment. (But, yes folks, we have to wait a year.)
Can Ronan and Ireland make it work? Can they have their happy ending? Can they and their families let go of the baggage? Who knows. I guess we shall see. But in the meantime, I will sit here with my book hanger and obsess about how hot and bass add Ireland is. I laughed and wanted to beat someone up while reading this, but I kept craving more. Had I known I'd have to wait so long I would've nursed it more.

100/10. Go buy this book. Especially if you're a Sylvia Day fan. For me, the Crossfire Series was one of the series that got me hooked to reading romance. It's worth every single word.

So, if you're looking after a catch-up after the Crossfire series, this is just for you. Gideon and Eva feature heavily in this book, so it would be ideal to read that series first.

Ireland book 1 from the Crossroads series follows Gideons sister and her journey within the Cross family, her relationships and career in the family business.

Gideon and Eva's story also continues and escalates.

This finishes on a cliffhanger, I wasn't disappointed, roll on book 2.

As a longtime Crossfire fan, I couldn’t not dive into Ireland’s story. It delivers the signature Sylvia Day blend of heat, drama, and emotional chaos — and yes, the spice is on point. Ireland is sharp and confident, but her insta-chemistry with Ronan moved a little too fast for me to fully buy in. Still, the tension kept me flipping pages.

Seeing Gideon and Eva again? Pure serotonin. I didn’t expect them to have full scenes, so that was a welcome surprise. The cliffhanger ending was rude (in the best way), and while this didn’t hit the highs of the original series, it definitely hooked me. I’ll be back for book two, emotionally unprepared as always.

Ireland and Roland's relationship is built on half-truths, can they overcome the family drama and get a happily ever after?

I read the crossfire series a while ago and love seeing Gideon and Eva again. I don’t love that they didn’t quite find their happy ending yet and that they are dealing with this crazy stalker drama. I like Ireland’s strength and confidence in the beginning but meeting Ronan makes her seem less confident in herself which then makes me not like him and their relationship. I remember Gideon and Eva getting close very fast in their books and maybe it’s me reading from a different perspective than I had back then, but I think Ronan and Ireland’s crazy fast “love story” seems like a red flag. I like that it gets a little more exciting at the end but honestly am not sure if I even want to read the next book even though this one ends on a cliffhanger.

Ireland and Roland have a unique start to their relationship. Built on half truths and secrets but the chemistry is off the charts. When deceptions come to light, can the two overcome family drama to find happiness together?
Great characters, fast paced plot, and a major cliff hanger. Great start to a new spin off series.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

First of all thank you for approving my request!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The authors writing style had me hooked throughout this book.

I didn't want it to end, a book I really couldn't put down.

I have been waiting for Ireland Vidal’s story and I’m happy with the woman she grew into. Ireland is confident, fiercely loyal, and intelligence, until it comes to not paying attention to the business of Vidal Records. Her father bankrupted the company years ago and has once again messed up managing the business. Ireland and her brother Christopher have only concentrated on their responsibilities. Enter Ronan, he was strong, cultured, intelligent and attracts the attention of women with his good looks the way he holds himself. And rich, which was import for Ireland since her family was so wealthy. They were quickly attracted to each other with an intensity neither expected. I really want to follow this couple.

It was a nice touch to reconnect with Gideon and Ava but I was mostly focused on Ireland and Ronan. The story ends with a cliff hanger, which is never fun.

I love the Crossfire series and I had to immediately read this one. You don't have to read Crossfire to read this one, while it is good to have that context. This works brilliantly as a standalone.

As always, loved the characters and the chemistry. This has elements of a mystery too apart from the romance. The female lead is well written and independent that makes her instantly likeable. Especially her relationship with her family. Loved this one!

Thank you Sylvia Day LLC and NetGalley for this e-arc in exchange of my unbiased review.

I'm not really sure I can wait another year to get the next book in this series! If it wasn't end of the school year I might have been able to read this in 1 or 2 sittings, it was amazing! I loved Ireland - strong, independent and determined to make changes - if only the men in her family could see that she was capable. I could see the twist with Ronan coming, and laughed when Ireland figured it out. The twist/cliff-hanger at the end through me for a loop - I need to know what happens now! I'll be looking out for the next in the series Illusive next year.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. This review is based on an ARC from NetGalley, courtesy of the publisher.

I highly recommend reading The Crossfire Saga before this book to get acquainted with the characters.
This new Crossroads series follows Gideons sister, Ireland and her journey with her career, family and possible love interest.
Ireland has alot going on. Her work life is madness and her new love interest is causing havoc in every imaginable way.
Ronan steps in to take over Vidal Records  and finally putting his hard work to rest ending his family issues with the owner. He doesn't plan on the issues the owners daughter causes him and his heart.
Gideon and Eva are dealing with a crazed stalker. Keeping them from their peace and happiness.
This book is all kinds of sexy, fun but also mysterious and intense. So many secrets and deceitful schemes by those closest to Ireland. Making this book hard to put down.  The characters are fantastic and previously part of the Crossfire Saga. So it's nice to have them along in here as well.
4 stars.

4⭐️

The first in the new crossfire series, this story packs all the sexy dramatic tension we love from the original series, that still feels new and exciting.

The exploration of Eve and Gideon’s story, alongside of the new start for Ireland and Ronan, made this read feel like putting on a comfort show.

If you liked the original series you’ll enjoy this, does exactly what a Sylvia Day book always promises to do and had me speeding to the end… I can’t wait till the next read!

Thanks NetGalley for the ARC

Ireland by Sylvia Day is the first book in the new Crossroads Series, published by Sylvia Day LLC.
The story leads back to the Vidal/ Cross world with all its opulence, riches, heartbreak and cunning.
Ireland Vidal is the youngest sister of THE Gideon Cross, the richest man on earth. And she carved out her own place. When she meets Ronan Boudreaux, she's insta attracted to the man.
Only he has his own agenda - against the vidal/ Cross family.
Can love conquer everything???
Unputdownble, suspenseful, 5 stars.

OMG I was so excited and waited patiently , not really patiently, for the return of one of my favorite series… Tge Cross Series. Gideon and Eva are one if my top five favorite couples eva……
Now Sylvia Day has returned with Ireland’s story. Ireland is Gideon Cross’s half sister. On paper. Full sister in his heart. I love that about Gideon. Anyone he loves and cares about has his full protection.
In this book,Ireland and Ronan see each other ,by chance she thinks, in a bar and the instant animalistic connection is uncanny.
And so it begins… the deceit from Roban the kept secrets by Ronan ,the take over of Vidal Records, at the hands of Ronan and his two siblings, All by Ronan… but why???
And true to the way Ms.Day writes books….. it’s a darn cliff hanger!!!!! But what a fantastic, quick page turner of a book it is.

I really enjoyed this story. I love romance and when it is so well done I cannot recommend it enough. This will definitely be one of those times. The plot was well written and the characters felt so real!

SO fun to dive back in to Gideon and Eva's life. I have read and reread the Bared to You series so many times, so when I saw Ireland had a story, I knew I needed to read it.

It did not disappoint. I love that Day weaves such a fun plot in with the romance of the novel. I will be looking for the sequel especially with the cliffhanger ending!

Welcome back to the world of the beloved Crossfire Saga by Sylvia Day! In this spinoff series Crossroads, Ireland Vidal, Gideon Cross' younger sister, is a high powered music mogul, who is forced to look at how well her family business is doing and to determine the best path forward. But how do you do that when the man you are enthralled with, Ronan Boudreaux, is found to be the one you are trying to be taken over by? I loved this first book in the Crossroads series and am so happy we get to go back to the world of Gideon and Eva, but even more so, get to venture into this new world of the Vidal family. Thank you to Sylvia Day for bringing us back to our favorite family! I can't wait to see where she takes us on this journey!

When Ireland meets Ronan, the attraction between the two of them is instantaneous, but when Ireland finds out Ronan is wanting to take over her company and dismantle, she is heartbroken. Read the highly. recommended, wonderfully written, and a riveting must read story. Can't wait to read the next story in the series!

3.5 Stars 🌟

I have to start this review by stating that I was a HUGE fan of the Crossfire series so many years ago - has it really been that long? Wow. Anyway, when I saw this ARC available and realized that this was a spinoff from the same world - well, that was a no brainer.

This book focuses on Ireland Vidal, who is Gideon's little sister (half sister - same mother, different dad). This takes place a little over a decade after we last left the Cross family and Ireland is about 28 years old now. She is working at Vidal Records, a family company that is run by her father Christopher Sr. He has already almost run the company into bankruptcy once before several years ago (Gideon stepped in to save them) and unbeknownst to Ireland, is on the verge of doing the same thing again.

Where the drama comes in is with the new man that Ireland meets that she has an instant, and crazy attraction too. It is a mutual attraction on both ends. Unfortunately, neither one of them are honest with the other (they had their reasons) but let's just say that was the catalyst to a massive disaster.

There are a lot of backstories and history that are involved and for whatever reason, we still never really find out WHAT the awful thing was that precipitates the whole revenge plan. As much as I LOVED being back in the Crossfire world, there was just something missing in this story that never brought it up to the level that we felt with Eva and Gideon.

The good things- there was quite a bit of the story devoted to chapters of Eva and Gideon (E & G) and those two still have a special place in my heart. I only wish that Ms. Day could have at least given them a little bit of happiness in the storyline instead of bringing in additional drama and trauma for the couple.

The weakest part was the crazy relationship with Ireland and Ronan. What the heck were they thinking? Yes, they had chemistry, but it was a trainwreck waiting to happen. And then Ronin changing his mind every five seconds- I had whip lash.

So - I will admit to being disappointed, but I am glad that I read the book. E&G are a hard act to follow but I was hoping to be swept away like I was all those years ago.

Thank you to NetGalley and Sylvia Day LLC for the opportunity to read and review this ARC. This book will be out for publication on April 08, 2025.
