This was a sweet story about Native Americans (sometimes referred to as Indians) and the friendship that grows between a little girl who visits her family on the reservation and returns home where she befriends a neighbor girl who is Indian. The story talks about the connection she has to her family and how it is bittersweet to leave her extended relatives and return home. However, home can offer friends who are like family and forge new relationships.
I recommend this lovely audio as a talking book for libraries and schools.
