i couldnt stand to not read this book. i couldnt stand to read it. because Charlie did what she thought was best in the past era part of the book. her and liam were sweethearts but when she finds herself pregnant she knows she cant ruin his future so decides to go, let him find himself and hopefully find hers. but life has funny plans and intervenes when they meet once again a decade later. ermm yeh, Liam you might have a son mate.
so from then on i didnt want this book to rip me apart whilst i angsted over whether they would be together in the end. or how. or how much crying id have to do with them to get there.
im so glad i got to read this book though. it was beautiful and swoony and smiley. it was tough and romantic and hard on the heart whilst we all navigated this new "family" together. and i mean that, yes we were with them on this! we were invested. in the nicest, sweetest most glorious of ways this book had my whole heart.

Given that I love 2nd chance romance this was OK.
I understand that people do things to protect the ones they love but not always in the right way.
I liked Charlie from the get go. Her reasoning was probably how I'd do it myself if I was her.
In some ways it shows her stubbornness and others well....foolishness.
Life is a journey and it's all about how we choose to do things whether right or wrong. Which is why I admired Charlie.
Mateao was a fun character to get to know. My heart went out to him. He seemed just like a real life little boy would in a situation like his.
Liam was OK too. I just didn't like the way he went about things. Too me, he was pushy too pushy.
However, I started to get to know him a little better as time went on so he's really OK lol.
I'll let y'all read the rest of it yourself. You'll love it like I did!
I really enjoyed this story so I'm giving this book 5 stars for a job well done!!
My thanks for a copy of 2nd chance of reconciliation.
I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine

I thought this story was good. I really enjoyed the growth of the main female character and how she found herself during her years away. I do wish there was a little more relationship development between the two after being apart and going through so much apart but overall it was good

I really wanted to love this book, but it didn’t quite land for me. I had a hard time connecting with the characters, and the dialogue didnt draw me. That said, I know every reader’s experience is different, and I can see how others might really connect with it!
