A very colorful book set to rhymes from the narrator sharing how their grandparents are rockers (rock musicians). The second half lets the reader know they have specials grandparents too. No matter how they look or what jobs they do or not, or even what fun names you know they by, they are unique to the reader.

A few rhyme issues but otherwise, a lovely read to be shared with the grandkids in your life and how awesome it is to have and be loved by your special grandparent.

This cute picture book focuses on the role of grandparents by pointing out some rocking grandparents. It is a cute rhyming book with excellent illustrations.

I am excited to add this to my library, especially as it has increased representation through the various names for grandparents. I think it is a good for libraries and personal collections.

This deceptively simple picture book would be a great addition to any classroom, school and public library. And a great book to give a new grandparent. I can see using it as part of my "words for grandparents" lesson in a heartbeat.
The text is easy to read aloud, and poses questions that can easily be built into small group or partner discussions. And the vibrant illustrations will have kids pointing things out and taking about their own grandparents.

My Grandma and Grandpa Rock! by Pat Benatar; Neil Giraldo is an adorable journey through all the ways grandparents can rock. Diverse families are shown, the art is super cute...it's a warm hug of a book.

This book is fun and illustrations are very colorful. It would make a great story time read. The message is that all grandparents rock in different ways not only with music. It also spreads the message of kindness.

Very colorful, fun book.....all about grandparents. Lots of fun things to look at in the excellent, brightly colored drawings/artwork, the text is fun & in a rhyming flow. This would be a really fun read to share with a kid & their grandparents! Very nice book!

A sweet story! I think the beginning was much stronger than the middle. The art was very cute and includes many representations of grandparents.

I really was excited when I first read the title and saw the author! I have always LOVED Pat Benatar!

This was a really cute book and I read it with my kids and they loved it! I did noticed some of the flow of the words, the rhythm, seemed off. Which is weird considering these two are musicians. But non the less, its definetly worth the read!

This story is sweet and inclusive, with lovely words and beautiful illustrations. I will definitely be buying a copy as a gift for little ones in my life when it is published, and one for my own daughter!

Being a fan of Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo since the 80's, I couldn't pass up reading a book written by this dynamic duo. It's a great reminder that we are all individuals no matter what our age and our abilities. Whether we rock, cook, teach, etc., we are all cool grandparents! A vibrantly illustrated book that kids will enjoy reading with their care givers!

Love the inclusivity of all types of grandparents a kid could have. The pictures are cute and colorful and kept my kids’ attention.
