3.5⭐ rounded up to 4 ⭐
To be completely honest, which I try to do with all my reviews, the first half of this book was difficult for me, but I am glad that I did not dnf the book, it wasn't a 5 ⭐, but worth the finish.
The first half of the book, the main character is so "love struck" and that is not something I can really handle well in books. It is a bit much for me. I think the narrator did such a good job too, that made it even more believable. The narration on this book gets a full star for me. That is why this book is rounded up to 4 ⭐.
There are some good "page turning" moments throughout this book, and the pace is pretty good throughout as well.
Not incredibly memorable but won't scar you for life either. So, overall, it's something nice to take on the plane or have at your in-laws.

This book had all the right ingredients: obsession, deception, and a twisty plot that keeps you guessing. The setup was engaging, and I enjoyed the unhinged energy of Jane’s character. But while it starts strong, some of the darker turns felt a bit over-the-top, and the pacing got a little messy toward the end. Still, if you enjoy messy, morally gray characters and don’t mind a bit of chaos, it’s a quick and compelling read.

Holy hell this main character was such a pick me. Cringe-city Population: 1 (me reading this book). Jane girlie… we all get sad when situationships end but you took it to a level I was not prepared for!
All you need to know is that Jane dates Colin for a bit, he ends things, but her obsession with him continues. The entire book was an insane ride. I wanted to shake multiple characters in this book and tell them they are crazy with a capital C. That being said, I found it to be super fun. The twists were exciting and kept coming and it made this book super bingeable.
I recommend this as a summer read if you like…

👀Not knowing which characters to trust

This one was freaky good! I knew exactly what was next until the very end. I had my suspicions but was pleasantly surprised by the twists and turns!

I wanted to love this one, but it just didn't do it for me. It was slow to drop hints, and Colin was such a boring character. Why were these women even fighting for him, just fell very flat for me.

I usually really love this author’s writing AND a slightly deranged and obsessive main character, so I thought this was going to be a hit for me but it fell short of my expectations (probably my fault). I’m very sad about it as well!

A messy, twisty thriller with a fun premise—Jane is convinced her soulmate dumped her too soon and will do anything to get him back, even if it means ruining his new relationship. The slow start might test some readers’ patience, and Jane's obsession can get a bit much, but the story picks up with some solid twists and dark humor.
Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC!

Well. I have been baffled.
That story was wild from start to finish. Up until the very end, youre not sure who to believe, and honestly, who is the crazy one here? Who do I believe? Who do I trust?
Honestly, trust nobody. Trust nothing. But definitely keep reading, because it sure is enjoyable.
Thank you Netgalley for this ARC!

The FMC of this book, Jane, was a trainwreck from the first chapter. I hated everything she was doing. I rolled my eyes numerous times. But I could not stop reading.
Jane goes on some dates with Colin before he ends things with her. She is convinced he made a mistake and is determined to prove it to him. She infiltrates his life, befriends his current girlfriend, and dates his roommate. All the while, she thinks he's sending her messages with his eyes. She is crazy! She does start realizing that maybe something is off with Colin, and she wants to save him,
What I loved 😍: All of the characters were unreliable and kept me guessing the entire time. It was a fun mess of a book.
Why not 5 🌟? The ending left some things to be desired. I felt like some characters did things not in their nature.
Note about the narration: Michelle H. Lee did a fantastic job bringing the craziness of the characters to life.

Listening to So Happy Together by Olivia Worley in audiobook format was an incredibly immersive experience. The narration brought the story to life in a way that added an extra layer of depth and engagement to the already thrilling plot.
The narrator's performance was exceptional, capturing the nuances of each character and conveying the emotional intensity of the story. The dynamic between the female friends was particularly well-executed, making their evolving relationship even more compelling to follow. The narrator's ability to differentiate between characters with distinct voices and tones made it easy to stay engaged and follow the twists and turns of the plot.
The pacing of the audiobook was perfect, maintaining a steady rhythm that kept me hooked from start to finish. The suspenseful moments were heightened by the narrator's delivery, making the wild twists even more impactful. The production quality was top-notch, with clear audio and seamless transitions that made for a smooth listening experience.
Overall, the audiobook version of So Happy Together is a fantastic way to experience Olivia Worley's gripping story. The combination of a captivating narrative and a talented narrator makes this audiobook a must-listen for fans of psychological thrillers and character-driven stories. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an engaging and thrilling audiobook experience.

I was approved as an ARC for this book, it was such a cute romantic crazy story about obsession. A girl living in her own world and can’t be told anything different. At least sense eventually finds her so that’s a good thing lol. I recommend this book if you enjoy book with a lil crazy side.

You thought your ex was crazy? Jane would like a word!

So Happy Together didn’t just pull me in—it dragged me by the hair into a full-blown, red-flag parade of obsession and delusion. Jane isn’t just heartbroken—she’s unhinged, relentless, and convinced that Colin, a man she dated for six measly times, is the one. So when he moves on with Zoe, Jane doesn’t let go—she inserts herself into Zoe’s life like a virus, lurking, scheming, and unraveling everything in her path.
This book is messy, chaotic, and soaked in toxic love and psychological warfare. If you’re the type who ignores red flags to see where things go, thrives on drama, and wants a thriller that feels like watching a train wreck unfold in real time—this is your next obsession.

This gets a little better as it goes on, but I feel like it starts dropping clues too late. It is a bit of a hot mess overall.
Two women are in love with the same guy, Colin. Number one, Colin is not that great for two women to fight over.
All of the three main characters are unreliable narrators and you are left guessing all the way.
It is okay, but was not my jam, and too long.

What I Liked:
1. Story flows
2. Unhinged woman
3. Stalker vibes
What I Didn't Like:
1. Basic characters with the same personalities as other books
2. Ridiculous scenarios
Overall Thoughts:
{{Disclaimer: I write my review as I read}}
Jesus who would even want Colin back? He broke up with her as soon as she slept with him. Like the next day he ignored her. He's trash and needs burned. There is zero way I would have sided with him in front of his new gf.
I hate that Jane is mad at Zoe. Zoe is blindsided by all of these things too and is only being lied to by Colin. She's a victim too.
God, I am so annoyed that Jane was so close to Colin and talking to him but she never once asks him why he ignored her after they had sex. The one question she keeps asking herself and wanting to know from him and she doesn't ask it.
Jane keeps mentioning how much Colin was into her and everything she was saying but she can't put it together that was love bombing her and acting interested just to
Jane not knowing that Colin has a pass code on his phone is crazy. Did she never in the two months they were together she never saw him enter one into his phone??
I keep wanting to give Jane the benefit of doubt but she's been hanging around Zoe and Colin for a little bit now so why is she still wanting Colin? I'd rather have my friendship with Zoe any day VS wanting to be in a relationship with Colin. There is nothing special about Colin. Zoe on the other hand is such a great friend.
The odd things about books like these where the other woman becomes friends with the unhinged ex is that they never seem to have other friends. How is Zoe such a fantastic person but she has no friends of her own. She lives only to be with Colin and doing whatever his friends want to do. So far Zoe has taken Jane as her friend because I'm assuming she has no other friends. It's just like how is that possible. Zoe is mid 20s with a great personality but she has not even one best friend...
Zoey even leaving the party and choosing Jane over Colin when she sees him push her. What a great person.
I rolled my eyes so hard when they set up a meeting with Lee but Colin showed up. He hacked
{{hacks be like I'm in gif}}
into Lee's account and met up with Joan in the middle of the night. Of course oddly enough Zoe is running behind and doesn't make it to this meeting so Joan calls her to tell her that Lee didn't show up and don't bother coming so she can run off and have sex with Colin. I don't understand this don't even said the sex was pretty basic. I don't get it basic man basic sex what is she chasing after?
Speaking of this Lee person canceling story Jane told Zoey how was Lee able to tell Jane in this lie that she wasn't going? They didn't exchange numbers and Zoey I'm sure of it didn't tag Jane in the dm or give her full name since that would be weird.
{{that's weird gif}}
Why wouldn't Zoey question this more?
Why does everyone keep going to Jane when she is the "friend" of Colin's? Wouldn't they talk to someone else that isn't a friend of him when they have a problem with him? It doesn't make any sense. Ben has other friends why would he want to talk to Jane about something he found.
Okay so let's just say that Zoey is the one all behind these things. Ben is now dead and she sent the text to Jane to come over. Now she seems to wanting to pin it on Colin so hard.
Ben was just murdered and they are already doing a funeral. Aren't they doing a autopsy? Ben died under suspicious circumstances. Place a funeral the next day after he dies is crazy. Plus Colin is a suspect in a murder. They aren't going to let him leave town let alone the state.
There has so little background to who Jane is when suddenly we get 75% done with the book and we get that her father was abusive and made that she did not kill a deer. I wish we could gotten more backgrounds on the characters. Everything felt surface level.
Ohhhh we find out that Zoey was actually friends with Lee from her hometown and Lee met Colin at college. Colin emotionally beat her down and made her withdrawn. For some reason I guess Zoey decided to get back at him... By giving him a good relationship hahaha.
The whole ending is pretty ridiculous. The fact that Zoe could manage to move a man and he was drugged up so he was like dead weight but because he's on the thinner side it was easier for her to do when she's probably like 120 lbs it's just crazy to me. Oh and then she's able to do it without anybody even seeing her when this is her Art Exhibit. Then add in to the ending that they murder Colin and no one comes looking after him they just managed to make a whole confession letter saying he killed Lee and Ben. Then then somehow they get away with his murder which it's never really fully explainedHow they managed to hide his body and get away with it. Just no explanation. We just jumped three months into the future and everything's hunky-dory peachy keen. Don't skip over the ending. Don't just like pretend like we don't need to know what went down and how you did it because that's a rip off to readers
{{Ya Ya Seinfeld gif}}
Look at that Zoe lied and was really a killer. I've never seen that in a thriller before... Don't worry though because Jane is okay with the fact that Zoe killed Ben but not when she thought Colin killed Lee - even though he didn't. Double standards much? I guess it's okay because Jane killed her father and got away with it too. No one gets caught for murder in this book.
Final Thoughts:
This was your basic thriller that doesn't give anything more than any other thriller na hasn't given you before.I enjoyed the stalker vibes and the tone of the book. Despite Zoe being a killer I still liked her and that she stuck up for Jane - yes, she had an end game I know. Jane was a terrible person.
Book was just okay. Honestly I will probably forget this one in a few years.

Thanks to Minotaur Books and Netgalley for this advanced copy of the. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thank you to Macmillan Audio for an ALC, and St Martins Press and Minotaur Books for an ARC of this novel. Here are my thoughts!
Jane is trying to find love in New York, and she thinks she has found it with Colin but after 3 months of dating, he breaks up with her. Soon Colin is dating Zoe, a super cool wellness influencer. Jane ends up befriending Zoe with secret hopes of rekindling her romance with Colin, for surely, he is her one true love, right?
I mostly listened to the audiobook for this one and I loved the narrator, Michelle H. Lee. She captured the unhinged desperation of Jane perfectly. When I started reading this, I read it with almost a humorous mindset as to how crazy Jane was. As you read on, you learn more about Jane’s past and I started really liking her. I even questioned if she was crazy or a product of her environment. I couldn’t stop reading and listening.
The plot itself was a little slow as the focus is mainly on Jane, but the highs of the plot stood out and felt unexpected and original. This is my second Olivia Worley book, and I didn’t love the first one I read so I was super happy when I finished this one and felt very happy with what I had just read.
The characters are a little stereotypical, but they have some intrigue and variety added to them that make them a little more unique. There are some violent twists that I should probably warn about, or you could just read it and see for yourself!

Audiobook Review: So Happy Together by Olivia Worley, Narrated by Michelle H. Lee
So Happy Together by Olivia Worley is a twisty, engaging popcorn thriller enhanced by Michelle H. Lee's excellent narration. From the start, Lee brings the characters to life.
The plot follows Jane, an obsessive female main character who becomes fixated on Colin, a man who dumped her after just six dates. When she unexpectedly encounters Colin and his new girlfriend, Zoe, Jane becomes convinced that Colin still has feelings for her. This obsession leads her to intertwine herself in their lives, uncovering secrets from Colin's past that add intrigue.
Worley's writing is fast-paced and filled with twists, keeping listeners on the edge of their seats. I was not sure where the story was going and enjoyed going along for the ride. Lee's narration enhances the experience, adding depth to the story.
Overall, So Happy Together is a thrilling listen that combines a captivating plot with outstanding narration. If you enjoy stories with obsessive female protagonists and plenty of twists, this audiobook is definitely worth your time. Michelle H. Lee's performance ensures you'll be hooked from start to finish. Thank you to Macmillan Audio and Netgalley for my advanced audiobook in exchange for my honest review.

I really enjoyed this story by Olivia Worley. The dialog between the characters was really interesting and made them feel completely real. I was on the edge of my seat when Jane was sneaking into Colin's apartment. The narration was also excellent. I want to thank the author, the publisher, and Netgalley for giving me an e-copy of this book, in return for an honest review.

Many thanks to St Martin’s Press, Minotaur Books, Macmillan Audio, and NetGalley for early access in exchange for my honest opinion.
So Happy Together is quite the rollercoaster! It's a great mix of one-sided attraction, obsession, delusion, and thriller with just enough murder to keep the reader on their toes. I mostly listened to the audiobook, but followed along in my ebook copy, too. As with any thriller, I don't want to give too much away, because I think it's best to head in mostly blind. But I finished this one pretty quickly, as I really needed to know what happened. The beginning was a bit confusing as it jumps right into the head of a character’s crazy, but it comes together and makes sense if you stick with it for a few chapters before setting it down. I recommend checking it out!

Thank you Olivia Worley and Macmillian Audio for the opportunity to review an audio ARC of this book! First off...LOVE the cover!! This is a contemporary thriller with some stalk-y vibes. The characters are all pretty unlikeable. This felt like a young adult book at times due to the main character constantly attempting to validate the actions of herself and those around her. I wish I had felt more tension or connection to the characters. The audiobook narrator did a wonderful job painting vivid images that really brought the story to life. 3.5 stars rounded up to 4.

My reaction at 85% - WTH am I reading? My reaction at 95% - WOAH DAAAAMN. My reaction at 100% Epilogue - ASDHBFDJUBDHSFUDHSF. *Sits in car for 5 minutes just staring uncomortably into the abyss. Morally gray and twisty! You won't be disappointed.
