Two girls. One guy. And a dead body. Who's responsible?
Jane had 6 dates with Colin and thought he was THE one. Colin, on the other hand, did not come to that same conclusion and started dating Zoe, an influencer. This doesn't stop Jane from trying to make Colin see they belong together.
As the three have their lives and friends circle entwined, it gets messier until a dead body shows up. Now Jane needs to figure out what happened and who did it, and is she willing to sacrifice everything for love.
I listened to this one, and the narration was pretty good. The storyline felt lacking in some spots, and the "twist" wasn't as surprising as it could be. The characters weren't very relatable, and maybe that's a good thing. 😅
It was an entertaining read and a quick read! Thank you to Macmillan Audio and NetGalley for this ARC! All opinions are my own.

What started off as a super entertaining and twisted obsession story, quickly turned into an even more twisted story of revenge! I liked this book from the beginning, even if halfway through it felt like I was reading a totally different book. There was so much drama that I couldn't put it down -- tons of pettiness, suspicion and sabotage, which was a ton of fun to read.
Some parts felt a little bit repetitive, and some scenes didn't need to be in the story. There were a few predictable twists and a few really huge shocks. Either way, I was entertained the entire time and eager to see where things were headed!
I've read one other book by Olivia Worley -- THE DEBUTANTES -- and love the drama and chaos in her stories. I'll read more by her, for sure!

I could not put this book down! I started and finished it today. The pacing was perfect, suspense was there and I LOVED the gallery scene.

This books was so entertaining! I kept thinking wow this girl is crazy! At times it was frustrating because the character was doing things that made no sense to me but I think that’s what made it such a fun and engaging read. I will say Colin as the MMC was pretty dull and I did not understand the appeal to him. Besides that though this was such a great read.

I received an advanced audio copy of So Happy Together by Olivia Worley, and it was a thoroughly entertaining listen. The story follows an obsessed woman and the man she used to date, unraveling in a way that’s both tense and engaging.
Worley does a fantastic job of building suspense, delivering twists and turns that kept me guessing and invested throughout. Her writing style is sharp and compelling, and she knows exactly how to keep the reader’s attention. This was a fast-paced, twisty read that I really enjoyed—I’m definitely looking forward to reading more from Olivia Worley in the future.

Jane starts out as your typical unhinged obsessed ex. She only dated Colin for a couple months, but she just knows they are meant to be together, despite him breaking up with her. Jane spirals as she sets up “accidental” run ins to remain relevant in Colin’s orbit. In a strange turn of events, Jane starts becoming BFFs with Colin’s new girlfriend. The closer she gets to Colin’s inner circle, the more secrets she learns. Dangerous secrets.
This was a good quick listen. The narration was great. I had several theories throughout and ended up being right about some of them. Overall, it was a bit over the top, but definitely entertaining.

Did not enjoy this one. Felt very much like young adult fiction. Not my cup of tea. Even the twist was silly.

Fantastic! This book has dark undertones, was a little corky at times, and was melodramatic. I loved how it takes us inside the mind of a obsessed romantic fool, Janes was so infatuated with, Colin who is her ideal partner, and after he ghosts her, she is set to manipulate her way back into his life, even if it's for his own good. This book kept me on the edge of my seat, and even packs one hell of plot twist that I never saw coming.

This is so good. The protagonist is creepy and annoying and it is wonderful! That is the whole point. I was completely into this book from the beginning. The end is not what you expect at all.
The narration perfectly suited the story as well.

I liked the narrator and was able to easily stay focused on this audiobook. An obsessive woman who will do anything to get back together with her ex is befriended by his new girlfriend. Jane is convinced that her life will be complete once she reunites with her "soulmate" ex-boyfriend. Instead she forms an unlikely friendship with his current girlfriend. I really enjoyed the first two thirds of this. Jane's complex character is well-developed and fascinating. I felt that the plot took some interesting turns until a complete about face at the end. The end didn't completely work for me. I think it is a little implausible became kind of complicated. However, this was still an enjoyable, entertaining read. For fans of Megan Abbott and Lisa Jewell.

This book kept my interest, as Jane is pretty much a stalker girl obsessed with her ex boyfriend Colin. You could see exactly where the plot is heading for most of the book, so it was sort of annoying. The characters are in the mid 20s but I feel like they act immature at times. This is a good thriller book and most readers will probably enjoy it. I gave it an average three stars because it just felt average to me.
I did not mind the narrator, Michelle H. Lee. This is the first time I am hearing her voice, and it fits the story perfect.

I was not impressed by this plot. Jane was insufferable, very frustrating, unreliable character. There was absolutely nothing that I liked about the story. It was a ridiculous, unbelievable plot.

This is a tale of obsession. After only six dates, Jane is convinced Colin is the one! After he ghosts her, she makes it her mission to get him to see the light. After "bumping" into him on a date, Jane gets befriended by Colin's current girlfriend, Zoe. As all grow closer, it becomes increasingly unclear what their motives are and who was behind several murders.
Olivia Worley expertly weaves a tale into the unhealthy psyches of emotionally damaged people. Jane is an unreliable narrator from the start, as she clearly has delusional thoughts about Colin. But as the story progresses, maybe Jane isn't the only unhinged person. There are a lot of twists and turns. However, I felt one of the main plot points was too easily telegraphed from the beginning, making me want to yell, Jane, girl, come on, open your eyes!
Advanced listening copy provided by Minotaur Books, Macmillan Audio via Netgalley. All opinions are my own.

I did not hate it. I enjoyed following Jane despite her crazy naive personality and I found myself rooting for her to just drop Colin and be pals with Zoe. As for the twist it definitely was very predictable and that always makes it less fun but it was overall a fast read/listen. The narrator did a good job

So much fun and completely bingeworthy!
Jane is a 24 year old playwright trying to find love in New York City. After just six dates with Colin, a nerdy software engineer, she realizes they are soulmates. But Colin doesn’t realize that and breaks it off with her. Jane discovers that Colin is currently dating perfect little Zoe, an aspiring artist. After Jane and Zoe create an accidental friendship and Jane sneaks into Colin’s apartment, she stumbles upon something shocking. What ensues is a chaotic journey of deception, lies and murder!
I read this one in one day, it was impossible to put down. It was fast paced and twisty right up to the end.
The audio narration was fantastic performed by Michelle H. Lee.

3.5 stars rounded up
I was entertained throughout this audiobook. From the very beginning, Jane’s story kept me engaged and I had to know what she was going to do next. She was obviously extremely naive and delusional, but you couldn’t help but to root for her.
The ending fell flat for me. I could tell what the author was trying to do, but it just didn’t fit within the story. It felt like a half attempt to throw in a twist that was underwhelming.
The part where Jane was shown pictures of herself at the show, was definitely done before. Very “The Voyeurs” movie.
The narration was great, I listened at 1.75x
Nothing ground breaking, but an entertaining enough read!

3.5 stars. While the author wants to compare this to You, I didn't really think it was all that similar. What this book's main character really reminded me of was another book I read (and loved), earlier this year, She's a Lamb!. While that book was about obsessing over the role of Maria in the Sound of Music, and this one was about obsessing over a man, I found the voices of Jane and Jessamyn, in their single-mindedness and delusion, to be very similar, and I couldn't help thinking of that book and comparing. (All that to say, if you liked this book, read that one too! I liked this one, but She's a Lamb was superior IMO.)
I love an unhinged female narrator, so this book was right up my alley. Watching Jane as she wormed her way back into the life of "the love of her life", a man named Colin with whom she went on 6 dates, kept me glued to the story. Jane becomes fast friends with Colin's new girlfriend Zoe, under the premise that she's Colin's friend from college. As she gets closer she begins to wonder if he could be more dangerous than she thought (and whether that would actually bother her...) I thought the first half of the story was stronger than the second--eventually we go from unhinged character study to a rather convoluted plot that wants to throw every single "twisty thriller" trope at us, and it gets to be a bit much. Nevertheless, it was a fun story that kept me totally engaged, so I recommend it to anyone who wants a fast-paced thriller about a slightly delusional, morally gray woman. But give it a pass if you've had it with too many twists for twists' sake. (And read She's A Lamb!)
The narrator, Michelle H. Lee was pitch perfect and she was a fantastic voice for this character. Really good job at differentiating the characters' voices, especially making Zoe's voice very distinct from Jane's. Highly recommend the audio format for this one!

This cover is so freakin' fun, so this book has been on my radar for awhile on NetGalley. When I saw it pop up on audio, I hit request right away.
📖: Jane and Colin dated. He broke up with her and has a new girlfriend, Zoe. But Jane is convinced they're meant to be. She manages to weave her way back into Colin's world and even befriend Zoe, but then Jane makes a disturbing discover that has her questioning everything.
🤝: This may be a good fit if you enjoy:
- obsession stories
- so many secrets
- never knowing who to trust
💭: I thought this was a fun one! The first chunk I had to keep reminding myself I chose a book about obsession/stalker vibes because Jane was just that. I was like, 'Girl, move on'. Once we got into the backstory and twisty parts, I was a lot more interested. There are some reveals I saw coming and some unexpected turns. It got a little wild at the end, but I ultimately liked how it wrapped up.
🎧: Michelle H. Lee gave Jane a strong voice, and it really worked for the "do we like her or not?" Especially since it's a single POV, I think audio is a great choice for this one.
Rating: I liked it! (3.5 rounded up)

I enjoyed this one! I listened to it and thought the narration was great. This is one of those books where you are never sure who to believe. It had me second guessing everything up until the last page.
I didn't love the ending but I really enjoyed listening to this one. I think fans of The Last Mrs. Parrish will enjoy this one as well.
Thank you to NetGalley and MacMillan Audio for the ARC!

I was a little weary going in thanks to mixed reviews I had read beforehand. But this audiobook had me hooked from the start, so easy to binge through! The narrator did a great job of converting the main character's particular brands of emotions, ranging from smitten to jealous, paranoid to manipulative and scheming. The main character was delulu and unhinged, and I just kept wanting to say "oh honey" at the alternate reality she seemed to live in, but I could not stop listening to her train wreck. And the twists ended up catching me by surprise, making the book even better as I kept reading! Such a fun thriller!
