I've watched how easy it is for kids to leave other kids out, and this is such an important idea. Whatever you need, I can do the simple thing of letting you sit with me. I enjoyed the audio too, which I thought was sweet.

4 minute audio that didn't really sound like a real person narrating.
The cover of the book is adorable and I feel like it would be so much better to be able to see the pictures/pages that go with the audio. Not sure I would recommend purchasing only the audio but instead would opt for the printed version.
I would say this book is geared towards maybe kindergarten/first grade age kids but would be good for anyone who's having a little trouble adjusting to grammar school or social situations.
Everyone needs friendly and supportive people in their lives and this is a reminder to be that way for others.

Thanks to Netgalley and Macmillan audio for an advanced company of this audiobook.

With an excellent narration by Melinda Sewak and a kind, inclusive message that all children deserve to hear, You Can Sit With Me was a delightful audiobook.

I loved how this book helped eliminate so many of the anxieties young children face when they are the new kid, wear the wrong outfit, or stand out because they have something that makes them not fit the mold. The message was clear all are included.

The writing was easy to follow, and the audio narration was enhanced by background music. I know this is the type of story I would enjoy reading to my children, and it is definitely something that we would listen to on our way to school and then discuss. Overall, I highly enjoy this audiobook.
