Thank you Kait Ballenger and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read the ARC of Wicked Believer in exchange for my honest feedback and review.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Original Sinner, and was excited to dive back into the world of Charlotte and Lucifer in Wicked Believer. Book two did not disappoint me.
Things I enjoyed about Wicked Believer:
-The continuous rich dark fantasy world building that includes details that parallel our own world (which I found made this story more impactful).
-Charlotte and Lucifer's character development and growth.
-The introduction of new characters such as Azrael and their impact on Charlotte and Lucifer.
-The exciting plot twists that kept me guessing about where the story would lead (I am normally very good at predicting what will happen in stories, but this book had me guessing!)

I was looking forward to reading Wicked Believer as I really enjoyed the first book, Original Sinner. I recommend reading the first book before reading this one. While this book does end on a cliffhanger, which isn't my favorite, I can't deny that it kept me hooked until the end. There were some particular plot points that I wasn't entirely fond of, but I'm really eager to see what happens next. All in all, I thought it was a good book, not quite as strong as the first one, but it's left me wanting more.

Book 2 just was not quite for me and wasn't everything I was hoping for, I was wanting more with where book one left off and had different expectations.

I made it 11% in but all I can think about is the partner sharing that was mentioned in the authors note and I just don’t want to read it due to that.
