There’s detailed information about the people that fought for black education, the start of HBCUs, segregated education systems, the struggles black educators faced, and even the major disagreements between some of the most influential black leaders about the “correct” way for black people to gain educational rights. I’m only scratching the surface. The writing and presentation of the information was very accessible.
