this was a strong third entry in the For All Time series, it had that feel that I was looking for and enjoyed from the previous entries. The characters were so well done and had that element that I was looking for and enjoyed. It was written well and enjoyed the way Paula Quinn wrote this.

This was a decent read, but needed some polishing in it's writing style, pacing and depth of romance. I liked Gray, a solid hero with legit hurts from the past. I also liked how the Mc's connected over dance.

This third book in the For All Time series was a beautifully written historical time travel romance. The characters were wonderful. The plot twits and turns are very engaging. I enjoyed the vivid details of the scenes that they made it such a pleasure to read.

First of all, This book is a vibe—a dreamy, ballet-infused time-travel romance with Gothic undertones. I wanted to love it—but while it had some gorgeous scenes, it also left me a bit conflicted. The ballet details (though occasionally over my head) added a unique layer, and the premise of a key unlocking time itself was so cool. But… the pacing was wild—slow burns where nothing happened, then sudden leaps in plot. Gray’s tortured-mystique thing was intriguing at first, but after a while, his broodiness felt one-note. (Also, the lack of period-appropriate dialogue in 1795 kept taking me out of the action.) Aria was a mixed bag. I admired her resilience, but her constant “I’m not like other girls” attitude got old fast. And the time travel logic? Let’s just say… don’t think too hard. The ending (no spoilers) felt both rushed and too tidy, like the author was racing to wrap up loose threads.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC!

Lately coming across a Romance that is well written is harder and harder to come by. This is not one of those. It’s beautifully written with well rounded characters and great dialogue. I do enjoy a bit more spice with my romances, but the story definitely made up for the lack of spice.

A Haunting, Time Travel Romantic Adventure
Gray is a mysterious figure haunted by a past no one fully understands. Feared by some and adored by others, he moves through life with powers that defy explanation.
Aria, grieving a devastating loss, receives an antique key from her benefactor—one that unlocks a door into the past. When she steps through, her world collides with Gray’s.
Their first meeting is anything but romantic. Sparks fly, but not the kind you’d expect—until she sees him dance. As a former dance instructor in her own time, something about that moment stirs her. Though reluctant, both are drawn together by fate—and soon, by danger.
I couldn’t put this story down. It’s a beautifully woven tale of time travel, mystery, suspense, and a love that transcends centuries. I highly recommend it to fans of time travel romance and historical love stories.

This is a time travel romance moving from modern New York to a remote countryside Earldom in regency England. Both our lead characters have difficulties in their lives. Our heroine is doing her best to help her family. Our hero is arrogant and seemingly heartless. The only time anyone sees emotion from him is when he dances. He is a very strange person. More feared than liked.
There are a lot of ballet references that I could only guess at the meaning of. The storyline is interesting but a little chaotic. I liked the heroine but the hero didn't seem to have any redeeming qualities.
Good fun.

Aah!!!!, Absolutely amazing and fully engaging. I love ballet, the gracefulness and beauty it creates with the music. So I jumped at the opportunity to read this tale and had the pleasure of being taken on a magical trip through time. The plot was well written, the characters beyond words and the detail of the story so clearly handled that I could feel it in my bones. Well done to an author of great talent.

A Touch For All Time (For All Time Series #3)
by Paula Quinn
While I appreciate Paula Quinn's writing, I found that this particular book didn’t resonate with me. The pace felt too slow, and I struggled to connect with the main characters or invest in their romance. Although the story offers an interesting blend of historical fiction, drama, and mystery, I was left wanting more. Unfortunately, this is the second time-travel story I've read recently that hasn't quite met my expectations. I have enjoyed other works by this author in the past, but this one just didn't captivate me.y. I have read other books by this author that I have enjoyed in the past, but this one simply was not for me.

I would rate this a solid 3 stars, maybe even 2.75 ⭐⭐⭐ I did DNF it towards the end, because I was not able to do it
The writing style could use a little work, I was left slightly reeling from sudden paragraph changes and characters making sudden appearances and disappearing. The romance was cute-ish, but definitely more for adults. Aria and Grayson were a pretty cute couple, though!
I couldn't find any distinctive differences between the speech in 1767 and 2024, all the characters spoke the same way. The research on ballet was done, which I commend the author on; I was just suffering from confusion with the abrupt scene changes.
Overall, it wasn't bad per se, there were some good moments, I just wasn't able to engage as much throughout the story.
Thank you, NetGalley and the publisher, for the ARC, all thoughts and comments were purely my own!

Not my cup of tea, but I can see how it would be enjoyable for others. I felt the pace was too slow and I didn't particularly like the main characters or care about their romance. Some entertaining elements of historical fiction, drama, and mystery woven together in this time travel tale.

3.5 stars rounded up!
I liked the story and the characters a lot! I think some of the pacing was a little off, and I feel like the ending was a little rushed, but the story still made my stomach jump and my heart flutter.
Grayson is such a sweetheart to Aria and I love them so much 🥹
Glad to have read this ARC!

DNF@32% - I have not left a rating on Goodreads as I DNF'ed it. But having reading 1/3rd of the book, I have left my comments.
Unfortunately, I simply didn't connect with the writing style and quality of storytelling. It didn't feel natural, it was moving quite quickly, and there was no real impact of moving through time into another century. I liked the begnning and thought it would be a quick fun time travel romance read.
But everyone was behaving very reactively and emotionally. I was getting mental whiplash with the back and forth in everyone's interactions or internal thoughts, from paragraph to paragraph. The dialogues didn't feel natural and there was no real distinction between how people were talking in the 1700's and 2024. It felt like there was a lack of organic character dynamics and plot progression on the whole. Personally, the way the dancing was woven in and described - it felt awkward for some reason.
I didn't like Aria as a character. I'm tired of women giving it back to men for the sake of it, especially when they try to help you or when you need to ask for it. There was no maturity or level headedness in their interactions with each other. There is something to be said for being practical in a given situation rather than just being that typical sassy independant female who is never agreeable because somehow that's cool and attractive. Because when you land up on the estate of the guy in question, in another century where you need to figure out how to get home and the guy has done nothing contrary, he seems agreeable, you even have a common passion and you seem to like him - it's just stupid!
Having said all that, I can see how someone could enjoy this as a quick popcorn read if you specifically like a historical time travel romance, but it just didn't click with me. It was my first book by this author.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the e-arc of this story. I received it for free, and I'm voluntarily leaving my honest thoughts and opinions in this review.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an advanced reader copy
A Touch for All Time by Paula Quinn is a third person dual-POV speculative historical romance. In 2024, ballet instructor Aria had her dancing career cut short by a car accident. In 1795, the future Marquess of Dartmouth, Gray, is an amazing ballet dancer who has struggled to maintain relationships due to his mother leaving him behind to go to the future. When Aria is given a key by Grayson’s grandmother that takes her to the past, Aria and Gray find someone who can understand them.
This review is not spoiler free
Aria and Gray’s romance is more on the sweet side. There is a depiction of a spicier scene, but it’s fairly short and is more focused on feelings rather than the actual mechanics. There’s also very little kissing as Aria and Gray’s relationship is mostly one built on admiration and attraction towards each other’s dancing abilities as well as their physical looks. Aria spends a lot of time noticing how clean Gray’s movements are when he dances and his natural gifts while Gray is fascinated by Aria’s more contemporary style.
Aria is recovering from multiple leg injuries due to the car accident and her brother also lost the use of his legs while her father became paraplegic. Aria understandably views this as a tragedy and every time it comes up, she has mostly accepted it but she is still upset. At the very end, Aria returns to her time, but she arrives before the accident, giving her and her family a chance to change the past. I know some readers prefer that kind of ending for characters with disabilities and others very strongly do not want it. I, personally, do not have a preference and more care that the internal logic is consistent and given Aria’s arc, I felt the ending matched what was subtly promised by the time travel aspects.
I would recommend this to fans of time travel romance and Regency romance and readers looking for a romance centered on two ballet dancers

I normally an not into time travel novels, but this blurb caught my eye and am very glad I picked it up. The author does an excellent job of writing scenes that are so visual you can see them as you read them. I have never taken up ballet, but the words printed brought forth visions of what it looked like, it was that good. Aria has such a sacrificial heart and Gray such a desolate one. Watching Gray bloom with Aria was fantastically beautiful. This story is full of twists and turns that make your head spin and I have to say that a part of me REALLY wanted to understand why Gray’s father was so cold to his only son. Would have loved to have had a scene explaining that. But the whole story was a delight to read and made me want to time travel! I applaud the author for no really crass language and the love scenes were so beautifully written, I felt their emotion instead of felling like a voyeur. A truly wonderful story!
I received this story for free and these are my own views.
