It's a small set so far – just four titles – but a decent one, if this evidence applies to all of them. It's a colourful and easy to read guide to the career so far of Kylian Mbappe, from the Paris slums to the mega-rich Arab-funded PSG to Real Madrid, with more than enough World Cup glory in between too. It's easy to see young readers who know most of this already, but you don't have to be a fan of him or his teams to have a decent time here, and all readers should learn the benefits of non-fiction reading as a pleasure when young anyway. I'd give this a strong four stars – the captions and box-outs do interrupt the narrative too much for my adult sensibilities.
