I just finished Live Ranch Love and it gave me all the cozy, heart-tugging feels I was hoping for. The setting was beautiful and atmospheric—I could practically smell the fresh air and hear the horses. The romance felt so genuine and slow-burning in the best way, with just enough tension to keep me turning pages. What really stood out was how grounded the characters felt, especially with all the little moments that made their connection feel real. It’s the kind of book that makes you want to pack up and move to the country. I loved every second of it.

Meh this wasn’t the worst thing I’ve read but certainly not the best. It definitely left a lot to be desired.

This was a cute and cozy read, it would be a good fit for readers who love small town Cowboy romances.

I enjoyed the characters in this story. Aurora and Wyatt gave me an "opposites attract" vibe. Initially they had very different ideas when it came to the ranch but as the relationship started to develop and grow I liked the way they came together.

I loved that this book is told in a dual POV format, it's become one my favorite ways to read a story. I really like being able to see the events that are happening from multiple perspectives.

Overall a really solid and true to genre read, I think this book is definitely worth checking out!

Thank you Emma Lucy, Net Galley and Avon and Harper Voyager for providing me with an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own.

This was adorable!!! Wyatt is such a grump and Aurora made him so happy. It's cute to see all of his friends say that he smiles more now that she's around. Aurora has such a passion and a love for what she does and Wyatt was so encouraging about it. All he wants to do is build her up and I love it so much. Obviously Aurora can do anything she wants but having a partner encourage you is always helpful.

I'm obsessed with the fact that he started doing yoga and and meditation with him every morning. He could never have imagined doing it but not he can't imagine not doing it. She just gives him the joy that he needs every morning. They balance each other out so perfectly. The love confession at the end is everything I've ever needed.

I'm kind of sad that we didn't get an actual proposal but maybe it will be in a newsletter sometime?

We don't get a ton of time with them in this book but I also enjoyed all of Wyatt's friends and family. They have a wonderful atmosphere and I can't wait to read their books. I'm guessing that Cherry and Duke might get together and I am on board for that.

I received an arc from love notes pr.

Rory is a wellness influencer who, after finding out her boyfriend was cheating on her, escapes to her great Aunts ranch with plans to sell it. Wyatt is the grumpy head rancher who feels like he is about to lose everything if Rory sells the ranch.

This was a cute book. I just kind of felt like the characters didn't have much chemistry in my opinion.

This one just wasn't for me. I love a good cowboy romance, but the opening just felt like all the cliches.

Thank you NetGalley for a copy of this book!

A debut romance set in the small-town cowboy world of Willow Ridge, Colorado. Rory (Aurora Jones), a British wellness influencer, inherits her great-aunt’s ranch and clashes with Wyatt Hensley, the gruff local rancher determined not to lose what he’s built. When business brings them together sparks begin to fly.

It was a cute debute novel. I do feel like it was a little rush with some parts but for it being a debut novel I think it was good. Did I think it was the best book I’ve read this year, no but it was still a cute read. The main characters were great, I really enjoyed them. I also liked the side characters, I just wish we got to see more of them.

Overall the story was very cute and full of fluff and if there’s another book I can’t wait to see what other characters get up to and watch other characters stories play out.

Thank you netgalley for the copy of this book! I’ve been seeing this book all over my feeds since I’m totally in my cowboy romance era so I was super excited when I got the email to read it! 🤠

Overall, I thought the story and the book itself was cute, but I wasn’t completely in love with it... I felt like the story was a bit rushed and the story felt like it was missing something. I wish we’d had more time to experience the retreat, but it seemed to be barely any part of the story. the main characters being a British influencer and American cowboy was pretty niche, but I felt like their “hate to love” situationship was a bit over the top and somewhat forced, but quickly turned into a love story, which didn’t flow very well for me.

I really enjoyed the side characters and wish that we got a little bit more of them, but I am sure we’ll see more about them in the next book(s?). Cherry was absolutely a spitfire and I am interested in seeing her story play out!

another little bookish pet peeve of mine is when lingo/verbiage doesn’t match the character. our MMC, Wyatt, is an American cowboy from Colorado but was using some British lingo, which is probably because the author is British but it just doesn’t flow as well imo.

I think this would be a great book to read if you’re a fan of these tropes + microtropes:
⛰️ cowboy romance
🥃 grumpy x sunshine
⛰️ he calls her princess
🥃 vision boards
⛰️ cowboys doing yoga + meditation (hehe)

Rory Jones thought her life was pretty close to perfect... that is until she stumbled upon her boyfriend with another woman. Now she feels aimless and lost, which isn't good for someone who works as wellness influencer that hands out advice to others about having a balanced life. She needs an escape, a place to regroup and settle a trip to Colorado to her great aunt's ranch might just be the perfect place to find her happy again... and maybe more?

Live, Ranch, Love is a well penned story of healing, finding love, self-discovery, and finding forever. Rory travels to Willow Ridge to settle her aunt's affairs and take a little break from life and find her true self. What she doesn't expect to find is a grumpy cowboy that is determined to not let her sale the ranch he lives on... it's a battle neither saw coming, but one they both secretly enjoy!

With every page I turned this one continued to show some serious potential, it was captivating, and the characters antics made me smile a time or two. I don't mind a little spice in my reads, but this one turned out to be a little dirtier that what I usually read, at times I felt like it took away from the story and made it a little disjointed. Overall I would say it was a entertaining read and it left curious enough to check out her next release. Recommended for western romance readers who like serious spice!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.

I unfortunately did not finish this book. I just wasn’t feeling the chemistry or connection between the characters, and the “enemies-to-lovers” trope description didn’t land for me. It felt like a trope to try to grab Booktokers rather than a trope to further the plot, as Aurora and Wyatt’s initial dislike just kind of…turned into attraction without any real reason or angst or conflict. The writing leaned hard into telling instead of showing, and the repetitive descriptions of physical characteristics (i.e. Wyatt’s eyes) just started rubbing me the wrong way. I gave until about halfway through the book, but it just wasn’t holding my attention.

I enjoyed the plot and the overall concept of the book, but personally I am not a fan of instalust & love bombing. Cute book but just not for me.

Live, Ranch, Love was a light and charming read set on a Texas ranch, which gave it a nice country feel. I enjoyed the chemistry between the main characters, Liv and Cade. Their back-and-forth had some cute and flirty moments, and the setting really added to the story’s charm. That said, I felt like some parts of the plot were a little predictable, and I wanted more emotional depth—especially in the characters' personal growth and relationship development. The pacing dragged a bit in the middle, but it picked up toward the end. Overall, it was a pleasant read with a cozy small-town vibe. Not a standout for me, but still a sweet story if you’re in the mood for a light romance.

I absolutely LOVED this book!! Give me any cowboy/ranch romance and I’m instantly hooked. Then throw in enemies to lovers and I’m in love. Also the Colorado setting (as someone who lived there for 3 years) it brought back memories. Definitely going to be recommending this one to all my cowboy loving book besties

Live, And Ranch, Love was a heartfelt romance that made you laugh, swoon and absolutely fall in love with the characters. I couldn’t get enough of these two.

When Aurora ends up in Colorado at the ranch her aunt left her, she wasn’t expecting to find a sexy rancher, Wyatt Hensley. She was there to sell his ranch he loved. But as these two get to know one another and these two turn Auroras vision into a reality, a love like no other is formed. She is healing, he is trying to heal as well. And when the dam breaks on these two…goodness these two spice up their life. They find their forever partners.

Highly recommended.

Aurora, an wellness influencer struggling to find her way after an intense breakup that has shaken her faith, finds her way to Sunset Ranch, left to her by her late aunt. There she meets Wyatt, the sexy head rancher who wants nothing to do with this city girl.
There were several cute moments, one of my favorite being “I can’t keep calling you Princess without actually trying you like one, can I?” That’s the dream right? Not just the sweet words, but the actions to back it up.
I didn’t really enjoy this book. The characters felt a little bit flat to me, neither of them ever really got me invested. Like said, there were several cute moments, but also some things I didn’t really enjoy that brought me out of the story. I did like that we got an epilogue to show us how things are a bit down the road, that was a cute ending!

I would never have guessed that Live, Ranch, Love was Emma Lucy’s debut novel! The world of Sunset Ranch was so well thought out and has such a great cast of characters. I was immediately obsessed with Wyatt and Rory and their palpable tension. They’re such opposites in so many ways, but seeing them come together was amazing!

I loved how Wyatt and Rory were able to create a world where they both got what they wanted out of their shared home. There were many points in this story where I was shrieking at the slow burn (brilliantly done) and I was so excited when they FINALLY kissed. The chemistry is so well written & just all around a total masterpiece.

I am really hoping that Emma Lucy will write more books set here in Willow Ridge!! I’d love to see more from Wyatt and Rory as well as the rest of the band of characters there. I saw that she’s releasing Riding the Line in the UK this year… so I’m hoping it won’t be too long before it’s also in the U.S.!

Thank you to Avon and Harper Voyager for the opportunity to read and review this book! I received a free advance copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are my own.

I think chemistry is lacking but still a good read. City girl becomes ranch owner, what can possibly go wrong? I do love their relationship growth.
