This was SUCH a cozy cowboy romance! Wyatt is a grumpy cinnamon roll and I was here for it! Aurora had her confidence shaken, and I really enjoyed reading her journey to find her confidence again while learning to lean on Wyatt. The longing and tension between Wyatt and Aurora was delicious, and their banter had me giggling and kicking my feet.

I was pleasantly surprised by all of the positivity interwoven into the storyline, and it was done in a way that just felt natural to the story.

The plot and pacing of the book was not like any other cowboy romance I’ve read and it was refreshing. The whole story felt like a warm hug!

Thank you, Harper Collins, for the e-arc!
I had a wonderful time getting to know Wyatt and Aurora.
Wyatt is the perfect, broody, grumpy cowboy, soft only for the feisty Aurora.
I like that they both help each other be a better person and move on from past trauma.
The spice didn't hurt either. I just wish the ending didn't rush so much so I wanted to see more in the epilogue especially with what he was planning for - we didn't got to see that play out!!

I thought it was a good read. It was eye catching and I loved the banter between the two love interests. I fell for the side characters and it made me excited for the next book coming!

I DNFed Live Ranch Love at chapter 5, which says a lot because I rarely quit a book so early on. But the FMC was so unbelievably annoying that I just couldn’t take it anymore. Never in my life have I encountered a character so infuriating that I had to stop reading at chapter 5.

First off, what’s with the sudden and random Britishness? It felt entirely out of place and was just another layer of confusion to add to the mess. But what really got under my skin was her attitude towards her so-called "influencing" career. She treats it like it's the most important job in the world. Meanwhile, Wyatt is a hardworking rancher who’s out there doing actual physical labor from sunrise to sunset. The contrast between their work ethics is stark, and instead of creating an interesting dynamic, it just highlighted how insufferable she is.

And while I didn’t stick around to see how the plot unfolded, the vibes were off. The idea of yet another influencer taking over an established ranch and possibly turning it into some kind of wellness retreat felt both predictable and cringeworthy. The FMC gave off a condescending attitude towards ranch life, like she was gracing the ranch with her presence and “improving” it, without any understanding or respect for the hard work and tradition behind it.

In short, this book was a huge miss for me. The FMC was unbearable, and I couldn’t stand another moment with this character, hence the DNF. Save yourself the frustration and skip this one.

Rory has one mission- go to her deceased Aunt Grace’s sunset ranch in Colorado, sell it, get over her cheating ex, and return to life in the UK to get her inspiration as a wellness influencer back.

She stops dead in her tracks when she comes face-to-face with the ranch hand- he is NOT who she is expecting. It seems sweet old Mr. Hensley has retired and in his place stands the most ridiculously handsome man she’s ever met- his grandson Wyatt. Who has a huge sourpuss on his face. Yikes.

Rory begins the arduous task of packing her aunt’s belongings, and preparing the property for sale. At the same time, she’s trying to heal her heartbreak, grieve the loss of her aunt, and lose the writer’s block that is plaguing her. She didn’t expect to have to navigate the moods and attitude of her right-hand-man, Wyatt, but we don’t call it enemies-to-lovers for nothing, right?

They come up with a great compromise- turn the ranch into a wellness retreat space, so her business can expand, and he can stay on the ranch! He agrees but he is not exactly the Live Laugh Love type.

These two gave me the warm fuzzies as they helped each other heal from their pasts...and their spicy hook-ups gave me butterflies in my stomach!!!

Rory has a charismatic spit-fire side to her, which sucks Wyatt in hard and fast. I loved the way she inspired him to be confident in himself and trust that he is on the right path in life. I remember being a bit younger and feeling that worry bubble up about whether I was doing things the “right” way, and it’s a horrible feeling. It weighs you down and makes you question everything you do.

Now this was written with dual POV, which I prefer, but sometimes Wyatt’s voice sounded like Rory to me-he would use British words in his dialogue or in his inner monologue (using words like proper or had a go at me) and some of his descriptors felt disjointed- (so *gd* delectable, the glorious future). It just stood out to me because I cannot imagine my hubby using words like that to express himself. Of course some guys do--but I am not sure if rough-and-tumble rugged cowboy Wyatt would. This did not affect my enjoyment at all- it’s just something I noticed!

Live, Ranch, Love comes out July 5. I cannot WAIT for the rest of the series!

Thank you to Emma Lucy, Avon and Harper Voyager and NetGalley for the ARC copy!

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC

This was a fun, small town romance with a broody cowboy and a sunshiny British wellness influencer. Both main characters are a little broken, and afraid to be open and trust again. I loved they each had their own way on how they dealt with their intrusive thoughts, and shared and started doing them together. They both supported and showed they believed in each other even before they got together, and when they finally did the spicy scenes were spicy.

I loved the premise of this book. I would’ve enjoyed more details and descriptions of the ranch transforming into a retreat, however. Wyatt and Rory were great. Quite a bit of spice in their relationship which reminded me of Tessa Bailey. Seems like a sequel could be in the works for Duke, Wyatt’s best friend bar tender. I would’ve enjoyed totally read that! Recommend this book to those who like enemies to lovers, ranch/outdoor life, fun and easy read!

Live, Ranch, Love by Emma Lucy was a sweet story about MC's Aurora and Wyatt. Wyatt works and lives on Aurora's aunt's farm. When her aunt passes and the farm is passed down to Aurora, Wyatt knows his time at his sanctuary is coming to an end. Aurora not only has to deal with moving to the States from Europe to deal with the farm her aunt left her, but she is also going through a recent breakup and a broken heart. She wants to get the farm ready for sale as soon as possible so she can return to her life (whatever is left of it). Both MC's are at odds, and it will take more than their chemistry to save the farm while healing their hearts. This book was well written and left me with the warm and fuzzies.

Live, Ranch, Love is the first book in the Willow Ridge Series, we follow Wyatt, a rancher and Rory, a wellness influencer who inherited her aunt's ranch with the intention of selling it.

The main tropes are small town romance, forced proximity and grumpy x sunshine.

For the characters, I liked that Rory was-down-to-earth and ready to change the message she sends to others, whether it's a happy one or a not-so-happy one. The thing that I was unsatisfied with was that we saw the retreat happening with only influencers but no normal people.

Now for Wyatt's character, he was the definition of grumpy at first, I liked his determination to keep the ranch. I also liked the moment when he understood that sometimes you need to live for yourself and are allowed to want things for your future. I think that the storyline where he realized that he had feelings for Rory was a little bit too abrupt without enough build-up.

Their relationship was maybe too fast-paced, all of the story is happening in the span of only 2 months. They both knew Rory's aunt but there weren't many moments where they would reminisce about her which was a little bit underwhelming. The story seemed to be quite rushed at some moments which made the story a little slow.

The story was at some times kind of hard to keep up with, the temporality of some scenes was not the greatest (not knowing if it’s happening the next day or during the same day).

Finally, I had a good time reading this book, you will like it if you like cowboy romances and finding your forever home.

I gave this book 3⭐️.

Thank you Netgalley and Avon and Harper Voyager for the ARC in exchange of an honest review.

This was a unique take on opposites attract, and I’m always down for a grumpy cowboy any day. I liked seeing the FMC wellness lifestyle blend into the story and her practicing what she preaches. The setting and small town gave all the right vibes for me. I really enjoyed this one. I do wish this AB could have been duet style. As it was a little off to have the narrators do all voices within the chapter they were reading, it just lost some of momentum of the story for me.

𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐬𝐢𝐬:

Aurora aka Rory inherited a ranch in Colorado from her Great Aunt. She also just walked in on her bf cheating on her so this is the perfect time to flee England and head across the pond. She’s hoping she can find herself and some inspiration. Rory works as a Wellness Influencer and right now she’s lost her spark.

Wyatt is a grumpy rancher and he has been running the ranch for Rory’s Aunt. He’s not happy about the change in ownership and is worried she’ll sell the ranch and he’ll loose the one place he finds peace. So he isn’t the nicest to her when she first arrives, he thinks she’s just a Princess that had the kingdom handed to her.

Rory knows nothing about running a ranch, she can’t even ride a horse. She has a lot to learn and forced proximity will throw these two together. They go from enemies to friends and learn they have a lot they can offer each other. Sparks will fly in this slow burn steamy cowboy romance.

"Plus, I can't keep calling you Princess without actually treating you like one, can I?"

I loved this cowboy romance!!! I loved the romance, and the couple. I highly recommend this book! I want to read more from this author!

This was a cute romance! I enjoyed it. I did find myself skimming some of the inner monologues on both the MMC and FMC POVs. The pacing was a little confusing for me as well. It gave enemies to lovers but a super fast switch flipped and they were all in.

The 3rd act conflicts felt rushed to me as well. I wanted a little more drama or reaction. I guess Wyatt punching her ex in the face when he showed up on her doorstep was great but I couldn’t figure out what the point of him showing up was. I think that the book would have been fine with just one of the MCs having an ex pop back up and cause issues.

The story was cute and I did enjoy Aurora and Wyatt in a lot of their interactions. It was nice to be *told* how they changed each other for the better. I think that with how long it was and how detailed it could have done a better job in certain parts of showing rather than telling 🤷🏼‍♀️

I wanted a broody grumpy cowboy and Wyatt seemed flip floppy to me from the start and I wanted his personality to be a little more consistent. The spice was very spicy and I enjoyed those scenes as well!

Overall I enjoyed it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Was ok…interesting. Don’t plan to continue the series…couldn’t get into, no tension, chemistry….very predictable..

A small town cowboy romance? Don't mind if I do! The setting was fine and there was palpable chemistry between the FMC and MMC, but a big pet peeve of mine is when you're constantly getting the character descriptions without it adding anything to the story. I think in 2025 you can pretty much assume that the main characters are going to be classically attractive, so to have that information repeated constantly just feels unnecessary. Trope lovers I think will enjoy this (small town, grumpy/sunshine, insta-love).

This author is new to me, but I will be keeping an eye out for anything else they publish. I loved the story and the characters. The pacing of the story was great and the characters were relatable.

The cowboy romance of my dreams! I loved the British flair Lucy brought to something as rugged and American as cowboying. These two together were hot as hell. Overall, a great contemporary romance!
