I loved this book—it’s absolutely adorable! It’s perfect for toddlers to explore their surroundings and ask thoughtful questions. I especially loved the inclusion of the Zulu word meaning “I see you”—such a beautiful reminder of how important it is for little ones to feel seen and heard. The tips at the back for caregivers are a wonderful bonus, offering great ways to encourage curiosity. The illustrations are super cute, and the colors are both engaging and calming. A truly lovely book!

*I See You Wonder* by Deborah Farmer Kris is an extraordinary wordless picture book that captures the magic of childhood curiosity in a gentle and deeply meaningful way. It follows a young girl as she explores the world around her, taking in the quiet beauty of birds flying overhead, insects crawling nearby, music drifting through the air, and stars shining above. Without a single word, the story invites readers to pause, observe, and connect with the wonder in everyday moments.
The illustrations are absolutely stunning. Each page is filled with warmth, color, and emotion, creating scenes that feel both peaceful and alive. The artwork draws you in and makes you want to linger, noticing new details each time you turn the page. This book is a celebration of mindfulness, exploration, and the joy of being present. I cannot recommend it highly enough. I would give it more than 5 out of 5 stars if I could. I received an advanced reader copy from NetGalley and Teacher Created Materials, and I feel truly lucky to have experienced such a beautiful and unforgettable book.

Would highly recommend this book to pre-school aged children!

Immensely adorable little children’s book. I read it to my son as he slept peacefully. The artwork was gorgeous and the story was so sweet and gentle.

Yes yes yes!! The world needs more of inspiring curiosity in young minds and allowing for wonder!! For more acceptance of questions and the silence to ponder. I also loved the sweet illustrations and the resource guide at the back for further tips on how to cultivate wonder and curiosity.

Such a quick and easy read for your little ones! I loved the illustrations, they were wonderful. It’s also a great book for your child to learn how to read.

This was super adorable and a nice quick bedtime read! My 2.5 yo really liked it, this was perfect for her age level. The illustrations were vibrant and interesting for the younger kids- this is most ideal for ages 1-3 I’d say! Very cute though and definitely worth adding to your shelf!

An adorable book written in rhyme with beautiful paintings to help make reading more interactive. Great for personal, school, or classroom libraries. Spread the gift of wonder to a budding young scientist in your circle!

A sweet and thoughtful book that gently reminds us how important it is to nurture children's natural curiosity about the world around them. It made me think of those slow, meandering walks with my child—where a stick, a hole in the ground, ants on a tree, or falling blossoms could hold our attention for ages. These small, everyday wonders are where a lifelong love of learning begins.

I have absolutely loved every book from this series that I've read, and this book was no different. This book does a lot of great things, like build relationships between kids and caregivers, foster curiosity in little ones, and gives both kids and adults ideas of how they can explore the natural world around them. All three of these things are so important, and this book gave each topic its time to shine alongside all of the other ideas. One of the main things that I enjoyed about the way this book was crafted was the writing. The author could have had every page end with "I see you wonder", but the author decided to switch it up over the course of the book, which was a great choice to make. Lastly, I want to give credit to the illustrator for making each page so adorable, touching, and effective. The illustrations worked absolutely perfectly with each sentence, making for a phenomenal book. Bravo!

I See You Wonder is a beautiful board book for young children who are just entering the initial phase of being to comprehend the beautiful artform of reading. Parents and caregivers will be allowed the joy of reading this book to young children as they admire the beautifully detailed illustrations. Perhaps young readers will begin to make comparisons with the words in this story and their own inquisitive style of exploring the beauty of the world around them.
