My third dip into this series of exceedingly easy readers, this has the parental voice of the narrator marvel at how their child or charge wonders – they wonder this, they ponder on that, they wish to explore everything in fact. And of course while the book is showing someone applaud that attitude it only encourages that, so this could easily make a child more inquisitive about what all their senses are telling them, from watching unknown musicians to following marching ants to tasting every fruit put in front of them. These books are so well-judged they're practically a must-buy for people in a position to nudge baby audiences in such directions.

This was an adorable and lighthearted children’s book that encourages curiosity and exploration, especially among toddlers. As a professor who teaches lifespan and human growth and development, I can see how this story could be useful in helping students support parents they may counsel in fostering their children’s cognitive development through wonder!

Beautiful illustrations. Excellent book and I enjoyed the Four tips for caregivers at the end of the book. Super easy quick read.

I See You Wonder is such a sweet book. I love the gentle rhyme it's written in, and I found the illustration style very calming.
I See You Wonder poses questions you and your little can explore in your yard or local park. I appreciate that the inquiries are simple enough for an older sibling to explore too.
I value the "Tips for Caregivers" at the end of this book. I recognize the importance of helping caregivers be better teachers, and offering practical suggestions. This adds great value to the book.
Thank you, I definitely recommend this book to all caregivers!

Children are very curious and ask a lot of questions. This is a great book for toddlers to help show them that they're seen. I love the section at the end for caregivers with tips to help encourage curiosity and questions. Children should feel like it is okay to ask questions. They are learning about this big crazy world. It's a great book and the illustrations are well done. Thank you to Teacher Created Materials | Free Spirit Publishing and NetGalley for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

I love this book series so much, and I See You Wonder is a lovely edition.
This simple story and storytelling about curiosity and mindfulness, accompanied by soft, sweet illustrations, will make the story very appealing to both small children and their adults.
Publisher recommends it for ages 1 to 3, and I would agree. The “Tips for Caregivers” at the end are a nice guide for parents to have handy.
I See You Wonder will be published August 12, 2025.

"I See You Wonder" by Deborah Farmer Kris is a children's book about curiosity. Asking questions all day long: Who? What? When? Why? Where? "I love the things that you notice and the wonder that you share." Reading this book to toddlers and preschoolers will engage them as they wonder about the world around them.
"Why do ants march in a row?"
"Can you waddle like a goose? Give it a go!"
"Will that big leaf sink or float?"
"Where does daytime go at night?"
These are just some of the questions you and your little one will find in "I See You Wonder."
With all their questions throughout the day, this book is perfect for eager little minds.

The book as well as the illustrations are cute!! Appreciate how it has information section for caregivers as well.

I See You Wonder is such a sweet and uplifting read! I love how it celebrates a toddler’s curiosity and reminds us to slow down and notice the little moments. The gentle words and soft, cheerful illustrations make it a perfect read-aloud for little ones.

A beautiful little book about how young children discover, interact and wonder at the world around them. The soft illustrations with a gentle colour palette really compliments the theme, and my children were giggling as the book engaged them well and had them waddling like a duck.
My favourite part was actually the additional pages at the back, with tips for caregivers on how to encourage a toddler’s curiosity. I would recommend I see you wonder to anyone who has a little hand to hold!

This is a lovely picture book about the wonders of our surroundings and the questions we may all have when we're learning about our world. The art is so sweet and classic. Definitely a book that kids will want to read over and over and have new questions about the activities of our little heroine.
Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

Thanks NetGalley for the early read.
This was a super cute read and shows how inquisitive we are at such a young age. As an adult it can show us to slow down and enjoy the little things, but from a child’s perspective it’s about showing how the world around us operates and evolves.

I See You Wonder is a gentle and beautifully written board book that captures the everyday world through the eyes of a child. As a parent reading this advance copy, I was reminded of the importance of slowing down, shifting perspective, and embracing the simple yet profound magic of childlike wonder. The book’s central message—“Wondering makes life more wonderful”—is timeless and deeply resonant.
One of the standout features of this title is the thoughtful section at the back for caregivers. These practical tips encourage adults to engage meaningfully with young children by getting outside, tuning into their questions, exploring cause and effect, and visiting the library. The addition of open-ended questions to spark imagination and curiosity adds even more value, making this book not just a sweet read, but a true resource for early learning and connection.
Jane Massey’s illustrations are soft, expressive, and perfectly complement the tone of the story. Her art brings a gentle warmth that enhances the overall message of mindfulness and discovery.
I gave this book five out of five stars. It is scheduled for release on August 12, 2025, and I’ve already preordered a copy to share with my daughter. I anticipate this will be a book we return to again and again—for its message, its beauty, and the sense of calm it inspires.

This was a cute book with colorful illustrations.
I only gave it four stars because some of the questions were not answered.
I received a digital copy from NetGalley.

Super cute children's book. I read this with my four year old daughter, and she loved it. The illustrations are adorable, and the simple wording helped to keep her attention.

This board book is part of a series geared towards toddlers and their parents. This one represents how children wonder and explore the world around them. The illustrations are soft and colorful, and are super cute. The text is very simple and is written from a parent's perspective, as the parent sees their child wondering and asking questions about the world. At the end of the book, there is a brief note for parents that gives advice about fostering their child's curiosity and responding well to their many questions. This is a cute, nice book that families will enjoy together.

I just read this with my own toddler. First, the illustrations are gorgeous! I love the style they were done in. As a parent, I know as much as anyone how crazy toddlers are and how their curiosity can be a bit overwhelming at times. This book made things really positive and gave simple and manageable examples of how I can support their curiosity in a healthy way. Using examples from this book will also nurture my parent-child relationship!
Thank you so much for sharing this with my family!

A young girl is full of questions and wonder in this short picture book. The simple text helps young learners understand questioning and wondering. It would be great to pair with learning about research and investigations. Tips are also included for caregivers. Recommended for ages 3-5

Thank you to the publisher and to NetGalley for the eARC!
This book is adorable! I love the illustrations as they are simple and not overwhelming. Young readers will love to identify the different animals throughout the book. Curiosity shown in a positive way!

This was a super cute book! The book followed a girl wondering about the what/when/where & why’s of everyday life. The story was accompanied by cute and colorful illustrations. I think this book is something kids and parents can all get something out of. I have read others from this collection as well, and they were just as great! Strongly recommend. Thank you to Deborah Farmer Kris, Free Spirit Publishing and NetGalley for this ARC!
