4.5 stars; good life lessons for kids. Somewhere I had heard positive things about Rainbow Kids.

This book was originally published in Dec 2023 and became available again to read as an advance review copy on NetGalley; so I jumped at the opportunity to read it. My brother has a 6 year old and 9 year old and I'm always on the lookout for books that they might like.

The 6 year old has a pretty severe nut allergy and this book has a fruit & nut smoothie, so I'm probably not going to purchase for them. But besides that, I thought it was a really good book. Kind of reminds me that all the things you need, you learned in kindergarten. Sharing and being nice and looking out for other people. Even us adults need to read this book once in a while.

Life Skills Learning with Rainbow Kids is a bright and thoughtful book packed with lessons that matter—like kindness, emotions, and eco-friendly habits—all wrapped in fun stories and colorful illustrations. I especially loved how each page offers something new, from silly jokes to cool activities and even short articles that get kids thinking. It felt like a little magazine-meets-storybook, and I enjoyed flipping through it just as much as the kid I read it with!

This had a good idea and the illustrations and colour were cute, but something felt a bit off. It did have lots of advice and actionable items though

Okay, this book? TOTAL VIBES. 💥 Life Skills Learning with Rainbow Kids is like a glitter explosion of good habits, smart thoughts, giggles, and “whoa, I didn’t know that!” facts. I mean—jokes, crafts, feelings, AND saving the planet? Yes please. Every page is a rainbow-colored adventure, and if your kid isn’t obsessed yet, they’re about to be. I smiled the whole way through. 🌈✨📖😄

These life lessons are so important and I also love that it has activities for the kids to participate in!

Life Skills Learning with Rainbow Kids is a colorful, joyful powerhouse that sneaks life lessons into storytime like a ninja with a paintbrush—your little readers won't even know they're getting wiser!

This book has some good advice and lessons some of which are blended into narratives, however, it was not for me / my family.
We could not enjoy the narrative. I will not be reviewing this publicly.
