Changeling Weaver Book 2 by Vaun Murphrey

466 Pages
Publisher: Artemis Femme
Release Date: March 10, 2015

Fiction, Sci Fi, Fantasy, Alien World

Cassandra and Silver arrived as 15-year-old twin souls. Their mentor, Kal, has brought them to his alien planet for protection and training. Unfortunately, when they arrived at his home planet, things do not go his way. The officials are annoyed with him for bring strangers without prior approval. He is punished for his actions. Cassandra and Silver face obstacles at every turn. They are asked to perform healing and learn teleportation. After five years, their future on this planet is in jeopardy. They must return to earth to finish their journey.

The book has a steady pace, the characters are somewhat developed, and it is written in the first-person point of view. The first book was written from Cassandra’s (the active twin soul) point of view. This one is written from Silver’s (the passive twin soul) perspective. This book was not written as well or at least it had a very different feeling than the first one.

Thank you for the arc, unfortunately I did not finish it, I just wasn't the right audience for this book.

Surprisingly, this book was a bit better than book 1. For me, sequels are much harder to enjoy because they have to outdo the original. I think things were definitely explained better and shown better through things like setting and dialogue this time.
