A thorough examination of the history of coffee is presented in this book. I did not anticipate the depth of information it would provide. The accompanying photography and graphics significantly enhance the overall aesthetic of the publication. I will now be purchasing a Moka pot to brew Cuban coffee.

As an avid coffee lover, I found this book absolutely fascinating. It’s packed with rich history, deep cultural insights, and unique traditions surrounding coffee across the globe. The way it intertwines travel experiences with historical context makes it so much more than a guidebook—it’s a true journey through the heart and heritage of coffee. The storytelling is engaging, the destinations are both iconic and off-the-beaten-path, and the recipes are a wonderful bonus. This is the perfect “coffee table book” in every sense—beautiful, informative, and endlessly inspiring.
Thank you to NetGalley, Robert D. Reed Publishers, and the authors for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This was an intensely info packed book. I learned so much, and I never knew there was that much to growing and brewing coffee before this. There weren't a ton of photos, but the ones that were there were nice. I liked that it also included a few recipes too. There were times the information was so dense and detailed that it was hard to understand. It felt like reading a textbook.
This is a great book if you want something you can bite into and gnaw on for a while.

A fun and informative look at coffee traditions around the world.
I definitely found some things I will be trying out, and this book has encouraged me to source coffee from growers and roasters from different places.
This book is perfect for any coffee lover or world traveller.

This book was not at all what I was expecting which honestly was a good thing in this case! I loved reading in depth about the coffee traditions in all of these areas of the world, and the fact that there were photos included was so cool and helped me be able to envision what the authors were describing more. I am really excited to also try the different recipes included in the book! I love that touch of content.

This book is so informative and interesting! I loved how pictures were included. The author takes you through the history of coffee, how it's prepared, where to try it, and where to eat, sleep, and other helpful information to visit each region. There are also recipes to replicate the coffee shops or restaurants at home. A coffee tour is now on my bucket list!

As an avid coffee drinker, the book definitely appealed to me. I enjoyed the historical anecdotes but especially the photographs of coffee served around the world. While it’s obvious the global appeal of coffee, I was unaware of how many different methods of drinking there was and how many variances. The journey of coffee itself as it makes itself worldwide was tremendously educational.
