For No Mortal Creature was a wonderful read—I’ve never come across anything quite like it before. Lately I’ve felt that much of fantasy has fallen into a formula of familiar tropes, but this story stood out as engaging, fresh, and wholly original. It carried a dreamlike quality, with worldbuilding that was both intricate and immaculate.
One of my favorite aspects was Keshe Chow’s writing style. Her vocabulary is rich and precise, and her prose feels beautifully crafted without ever becoming overdone. It elevated the story and made it a joy to read.
I also loved the ending—it felt like the perfect conclusion, satisfying yet still leaving me thinking about the story long after finishing.
