Well this is all kinds of hot and steamy. Olivia and Cole were oozing sexual tension and chemistry all over the place. It certainly wasn’t a horrible way to spend an afternoon reading about these two love birds. Yeah, there’s some good stuff in here. I enjoyed it!

Olivia couldn't be more surprised when at work she found out that her one-night stand is her new boss and person who stole her promotion. But her nickname Ice quin doesn't mean jack when she is in the same room with Cole so they start a secret affair. Emotions get very quickly involved and Coles intention to fix and control things ruins everything. I liked both Cole and Olivia, I was positively surprised by her action about her job decision. Together they made great powerful a successful couple.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

Hot, sexy and sweet. Once Upon a Dare is a fantastic read. Sometimes dares are worth taking. Olivia is a lovely strong woman who doesn't want a mans help to get ahead. Cole is strong headed and goes after what he wants. Even when Cole comes off a bit strong he is so totally swoon worthy. Olivia knows how to stand her ground. I really loved the love/hate relationship Cole and Olivia have. There is a strong fire between them that just burns off the pages and leaves all hot and bothered. I love when one night stands turns into something else. This was an amazing read and I'm looking forward to reading more in the Risky Business series.

This book was a surprise. It had more depth than I'd imagined, as well as likeable characters. Olivia and Cole were actually good together so it was easy to cheer them on, hoping they'd end up together.
The story-line was fun, with some sizzling moments included and ended with most questions answered.

Olivia Masterson is at the top of her advertising game. She is now expecting to be made partner to the firm. One night her friend and she went out together. Her friend has to drag her out because she is all work. Her friend dares her to find and seduce a stranger for one night. Cole Bennett is having a drink at the bar when he sees Olivia. Sparks fly between them, but Olivia slips out in the morning and doesn't say goodbye. When Olivia is called into a meeting with her boss, she is expected to be told that she has been promoted. Instead, she sees Cole and is told that he has been made partner. She feels totally betrayed but they are still wildly attracted to each other. Working in the office has never been hotter, but Cole can't help but to meddle in her job. It is something she has already told him to stay out of. Can Cole convince Olivia that he is proud of what she's accomplished and back off? I loved the story. Olivia is a strong woman and I really liked her. I received this book from Net Galley and Entangled Publishing for a honest review. The opinions expressed are my own.

Once Upon a Date is a steamy workplace romance. The one night stand that got away turns up the next day. Fighting list and egos takes up almost as much time as their day jobs.

It's naughty fun. Once Upon a Dare was a great way to immerse myself in a workplace romance with out the drama of real life. ☺ So kick off the offending heels, put your feet up, and cut loose with a Dare...

I did enjoy the story it kept me entertained one afternoon. So we meet the Ice Queen, Olivia as she is known in the office. She is an Ice Queen because she is focus on moving up in her job and doesn't really take crap. On a night out of town her friend dares her to get a hot night and she found her victim and had said hot night, thinking she will never see him. Unfortunately, for her she meets him again at her job and Cole gets the promotion she wanted..Now what to do, ignore him or keep doing what she really want to do even thought she wont admit..

What do you do after you find out that the one night stand who gave you the hottest night of your life takes your promotion. Then you are tasked to work with him and he is now your boss?

Olivia is a very hard worker and deserves the promotion. The weekend before the reveal her friend takes her out and dares her to let her hair down for one night and go home with a man of her choosing. Olivia finally decides that she deserves one might of wildness and she promptly leaves in the morning.

I felt so bad for Cole in this book. It just felt like every step he makes was the wrong one, especially when he isn't trying to be the bad guy. He is a man who knows what he wants and sometimes doesn't always look at the whole picture before he moves forward with his task.

These two were really fun to read about. Even when they were fighting, there was still passion and chemistry.

Olivia is in advertising and the night before she’s supposed to find out if she’s made partner, she goes out with her friend Chloe. Olivia is known as the Ice Queen, all work and no play, so when Olivia dares her to have a one night stand with a stranger, she goes for it. Cole is back in New York after working in London for years. He is starting a new job and is out having a couple of drinks. Olivia comes up and starts flirting and then when she asks “ your place or mine?” he’s ready and raring to go.
When Olivia gets to the office the next day and goes for her meeting with her boss, she’s shocked to see Cole there. And then to find out he got the job she thought was hers. She is furious and hurt too. When Cole and Olivia work on a project together, they can’t keep their hands off each other. But then Cole totally screws up and might lose the woman he has ever loved if he doesn’t find a way to get her to forgive him.
First time reading this author and I must say it hopefully won’t be my last. You have a sexy, rich, smart guy who messes up just like most men do. A beautiful, former beauty pageant contestant, smart and only wants to climb the ladder without help from anyone. Sexy, funny, a tough woman who’s not afraid to stand up for herself. I really enjoyed this story and hope all who reads it will too.

Olivia Masterson is celebrating her upcoming promotion with her best friend, Chloe in the bar below work. Chloe dares her to break her rule and hook up with the tall dark and hot stranger at the bar. She thinks why not, I’ll never see him again. After an unforgettable night she sneaks out, but on Monday is shocked to find out that he is her new boss, Cole. Olivia is adamant she isn’t going to be one of those women who sleeps her way to the top, so resists Cole’s attempts to continue their relationship. Sparky romance with girl power. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Loved this book! It's sexy and fun, with characters that made me care about their story. Olivia is a bit too rigid and focused on her career when a dare leads to a one night stand with Cole....then, on Monday morning when she thinks she's meeting with her boss to receive her promotion, instead she learns that Cole has taken her partner promotion..... This entertaining premise leads to an engaging and sexy novel as Cole and Olivia fight their attraction to each other, even while forced to work together. More importantly, Olivia struggles with her attraction to the man who took her job and thinks he knows what's best for her.

If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book. I'm looking forward to reading more books by this author.

I received a copy of Once Upon a Dare by Jennifer Bonds from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Unfortunately, this book missed the mark for me. The plot was messy and the dialogue was flat or contrived (didn't flow) most of the book. The main characters' chemistry fell short, I felt, and I did not care for the female protagonist, Olivia. She wasn't very likeable and I didn't feel like she had many redeeming qualities (thus didn't care for her and kind of rooted against her).

I'd give Once Upon a Dare 3 stars.

Great read, the story of Olivia and Cole - he was supposed to be a one night stand, but when he shows up in the office the next day he is not only her new boss but has stolen the role she thought she was going to get promoted to. Forced to work together, but the attrraction between them is still there.

First book I have read by this author but looking forward to more!

I liked where the story started, but getting there was kind of a long road. This book somewhat dragged for me. I liked Cole A lot, but Olivia was hard to love. She was a little too over the top for me.

"Once Upon a Dare" is a quick read that follows Olivia Masterson and Cole Bennett. Olivia works unbelievably hard at her job for an advertising agency- so hard that she has no personal life. Her hard work is about to be recognized, because her boss suggested that she would be made partner if she closed this case, which she did with aplomb. She is out with her only friend (because she works so much she can't maintain friendships) to celebrate. Her boss scheduled an unlikely meeting on Monday, so Olivia is pretty sure the news will be good.

Her friend dares her to let loose and have a one night stand. Although not usually Olivia's style and the fact that she hasn't even had a date in a few years, Olivia decides to go for it with the handsome stranger at the bar, Cole. Olivia sneaks out in the morning, seemingly never to hear from him again- it is New York City afterall. That is, until Monday morning's meeting when he is named the new partner and Olivia is supposed to show him the ropes (talk about the glass ceiling!!!).

Cole has been working in London for the last several years and has never mixed business and pleasure. However, he can't get that one night with Olivia out of his head and might be breaking his own rules. He has come to NYC with lots of money to buy his way into partner, but he didn't know he'd be taking the job from Olivia (who, based on Cole's descriptions, may just be a pair of legs?).

Anyway, my main issues with the book were Cole's perspectives. He seems shallow and misogynistic- and he is intent on pursuing Olivia, primarily based on her appearance. I get the lust thing, and I am OK with it to a point, but I would have liked a little more personality from the main characters early on to understand why they wanted to pursue the relationship. Also, Olivia is a really talented and hard worker whose efforts seem to be mostly ignored. This does get better, but it is a bit rough at places, especially early on. I guess I was hoping for a little more substance or something extra (beyond the physical), particularly on Cole's end.

Overall, it was fast-paced and a quick/light read. I think this definitely has a good standing for audiences who are looking for steamy romances stemming from lust with a workplace addition. I am not sure how much I liked it due to the above.

Please note that I received an ARC from the publisher through netgalley. All opinions are my own.

I received a free copy from netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Once upon a dare was an enjoyable story. Olivia has worked hard for her position at her company but overnight the partnership she was all but promised is given to Cole the man she had slept with the night before on a dare no less. I like the relationship between Cole and Olivia and I really loved Olivia's response to Cole's screw up. The relationship felt organic and the conflict made sense instead of just being a random roadblock to the inevitable happily ever after.
