This is the story about a former Navy Seal working for a very wealthy many trying to control the world and another Navy Seal recruited to work for him - and who has no choice but to do so.
I was not a fan of this book. The characters were not very likable and it seemed like Kyle Mills tried too hard to made "Fade," the main character, sympathetic. He kind of was, but mostly not. I think my biggest issue with this book was (1) most of the characters are very unlikeable; (2) I did not care about the super rich dude and the Chinese scientist's little game; and (3) it just didn't do much to hold my attention, though I did finish the book.
I read a lot of military thrillers. Brad Thor, Jack Carr, Andrews & Wilson, Brad Taylor, Tom Clancy, Vince Flynn, Dalton Fury. This book just doesn't measure up to them. Maybe that's an unfair comparison, but it's true.
