Maverick and Hendrix were everything! Kennedy Ryan did a fantastic job portraying these characters, and I knew this book would be amazing based on the previous two books in the Skyland series.
I admired Hendrix's strength and her will to always focus on the goal at hand. I loved how Hendrix finally let herself be vulnerable, but with the right man. Maverick was that man; the ultimate package, and when he wants something, he goes after it. He was not playing around about Hendrix, and I loved that for her.
Having never dealt with anyone who has had Alzheimer's disease, this truly broke my heart listening to Hendrix and her aunt dealing with Hen's mother. The personality changes, anger, and disorientation are very sad, and Hendrix desires to be near her mother while being uncomfortable taking care of her is very enlightening.
Lastly, the narrators were fantastic and honestly could not have done a better job. The way they conveyed passion, love, longing, anger, sadness, and joy—being able to evoke those emotions in audio form is what makes a great narrator.

Unfortunately, this didn’t work for me. I am very disappointed because I absolutely love the other books in this series. I will say I LOVE Hen, nothing about this review is about her character in any way because she must be protected at all costs. I also love the girl group — they are wonderful. The epilogue with the 3 of them was so sweet!
Here’s my few issues:
- I didn’t love the “rich” billionaire lifestyle it had. Consumerism was at a peak in this. Who alphabetizes shoes? I couldn’t get into it when we live in this world with billionaires who could care less. Though, I do think the MMC has some great concepts of how to use his money to better the Black community. I kind of wish it focused on that more. He also was rude when Hen was trying to offer his driver food; let the man have a break!
- The jealous ex — why are we still doing this??? It’s 2025, I thought we were over women tearing other women down. Also for the ex to say “he’s the love of my life” when she’s WITH SOMEONE ELSE?? That poor man. I really disliked that character and whole plot point. The book didn’t need it at all.
- There were a few comments from the MMC that rubbed me the wrong way. I didn’t like how he handled certain situations and I overall didn’t ever get a great impression of him. He’s all “40 and looking that young and good not dressed up?” — like 1) why does 40 have to look “old”? And 2) why does women have to always dress up to look good? Also, there’s another time when he tells her to “wear a pretty dress” — this feels very rude to ask. Why can’t she “dress fancy” instead? Why do we have to wear a dress specifically to feel/be pretty? It just continues the cycle of beauty standards that we should be moving on from in our society these days.
Overall, I DID like the concepts about the Black community I learned. As a white female, I don’t know enough about this so I always appreciate Kennedy Ryan’s perspective. I’m disappointed I didn’t like it better but I’ll still remember the series fondly and probably will reread Sole’s book at some point!

4 ⭐️/ 5 Can’t Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan (audiobook)
Thank you so much to NetGalley and Hachette Audio for allowing me opportunity to read/listen to this book early.
As a huge fan of the Skyland series, this is my first time enjoying one of Kennedy Ryan’s books via audiobook. I think Wesleigh Siobhan (voicing the lovely and strong Hendrix) did a wonderful job at bringing the characters to life and pouring emotion into even side characters—especially Hendrix’s mother who is living with an Alzheimer’s diagnosis. I was a bit underwhelmed with Jakobi Diem’s portrayal of Maverick. There were some moments that sounded robotic or forced rather than the smooth and sultry you expect from a KRyan mmc and that took me out of the narrative a few times. While in the other two Skyland novels, I was melting over the men, Can’t Get Enough didn’t do “enough” for me in comparison to the other books.
While the writing is lovely and the story was decently formed, I did not feel the drama and heart that came before in the series. I think part of this stems from a lack of Hendrix’s girls being more present in the book like they were in previous ones; we are introduced to many women in Hendrix’s story but don’t have quite enough time to get to know them and attach to them as side characters; I would have liked more plot (especially early on) that includes Yasmin and Soledad as those are characters already known and loved.
It is possible I may enjoy the storyline/characters more if reading it on my Kindle or via the library but unfortunately the audiobook version takes me out of the story too much. Regardless, I LOVE what Kennedy Ryan has built with the Skyland series and it inspires me to read more of her work as her words are truly art!

*Thank you Netgalley and Hachette Audio for the arc*
Kennedy Ryan never lets me down.
I love how confident Hendrix was in herself. Mav was the perfect mmc for her.
This book touched on some hard topics but was beautifully written.
The audiobook was fantastic. The narrators were the perfect picks for these characters.

DNF as I just can't stay focused on this one. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it, plot is good, writing is good. I'm just not hooked at all and my attention keeps drifting. Rating based on what I've listened to so far!

this audiobook is sooo good— it blew my mind! wesleigh siobhan and jakobi diem gave the performance of their life! they perfectly portrayed every single emotion— i laughed, i cried and i swooned with their narration!
all the voice changes for different characters were expertly and seamlessly done!
the audio is crisp and clear— it doesn’t get any better than this level of quality!
i looooved this book so much and it’s my favorite in the skyland series! kennedy ryan never fails to tell important and thought provoking stories filled with heart, representation and complex characters. you’ll feel it all because every word is laced with raw emotion, sincerity and tenderness! and you can tell she handles sensitive topics from a place of love and with immense care.
one of my favorite parts when reading was seeing hendrix and all the amazing women in her life continually show up for each other— nothing better than stories where women are supporting women! and so much of hen’s character deeply resonated with me— i especially appreciated the discussion around women who choose not to have children! that conversation made me feel very validated and seen! hendrix is a boss, a badass and absolute goals! my girl has big dreams and is unstoppable!
one thing about kennedy ryan— she’s going to write a man who embodies the definition of “if he wanted to, he would!” maverick bell is IT!!! this man is a true gentleman! a respectful, attentive, generous, loving, hot af billionaire king who knows what he wants and treats his woman like the queen she is!
i love that kennedy ryan just writes characters who stand business!!!
the chemistry between hen and mav is palpable from their very first interaction! their love story is steamyyyy but it is also so sweet and made me so emotional! it made me so happy because they truly found their perfect match!
i just need everyone to go read this book! i can’t say enough good things about it!
if you haven’t picked up this series, or read anything by kennedy ryan, this is your sign!!!
thank you so much to hachette audio for this ALC in exchange for my honest thoughts :)

🎧Title: Can't Get Enough- Skyland #3
✍🏾Author: Kennedy Ryan-an auto-buy author for me
📅 Publication date: 5-13-25| Read 5-6-25
🗣️ Narrator: Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem voice all the characters with standouts from Hendrix and Maverick. The reading style brought the text to life, and the author and narrators worked together perfectly. The pacing and flow allowed me to get lost in the story. The narrators paused and announced new chapters and there was a table of contents which helped me follow along.

👆🏾 POV: 1st person dual

🌎Setting: Atlanta, Malibu, and Charlotte
Summary: Hendrix has her friends, family, and businesses in the entertainment industry. She meets Maverick at a party and is instantly attracted but he's taken. Hendrix becomes a caretaker for her mother with Alzheimer's learning how to care for her. Hendrix and Maverick's relationship is complicated by the long distance, their businesses, and attempt to have it all.
👩🏾Heroine: Hendrix Barry- 40, talent manager and venture capitalist
👨🏾Hero: Maverick "Mav" Bell -a tech mogul
🎭 Other Characters:

*Geneva-Hendrix's aunt
*Bolt-Mav's assistant
*Skipper-Hendrix's assistant
*Yasmeen + Soledad-Hendrix's BFFs
*Christopher-Mav's father
*Tamia-Mav's daughter
🤔 My Thoughts: I loved that Hendrix was career-driven and unapologetically childless. Mav met his match and fell hard and fast for Hendrix admiring her drive and other things😉. Being a caretaker is a thankless job and Mav and Hendrix connected over their shared experience with Mav's grandfather and Hendrix's mother. I also liked the subplot with Mav wanting to buy an NBA team that his father coached. Also, Hendrix's aspire funding was a great nod to the current DEI and affirmative action issues for black women trying to start their own companies.

🙏🏾Thanks to NetGalley, Hachette Audio | Forever, and Kennedy Ryan for this ALC! I voluntarily give my honest review, and all opinions are my own.

4.5 ☆!! my goodness do i love this series & i’m gonna miss it so much now that it’s over!!! i love all the incredibly real, strong, powerful & protective female main characters and the men that they found to be their perfect matches! this love story was so good & as a gifts girlie, i for one was drooling over maverick & am praying for a billionaire to walk into my life so i can get spoiled like hendrix😂 but for real i loved how much he showed his love & care for her in such bold and honest ways all throughout their relationship! i loved seeing hendrix’s bravery to choose their relationship when she might’ve been tempted to choose other dreams! it all worked out so beautifully (except for that dang annoying ex🙄) and i was very satisfied with the ending!!! i highly recommend this book and this series!!! i’m eager to reread one day and see if it gets upgraded to 5 stars🤭
thank you to netgalley and the publisher for a e-arc & audiobook in exchange for my honest review!!

I truly enjoyed this audiobook!! Kennedy Ryan just gets it! This book is very relevant and sensitive to difficult topics women go through silently everyday! I cried, laughed, was angry... well, let's just say I was emotional listening to this one! I truly am upset this is the end of the series 💔 it has been an incredible experience! Love you always Kennedy!!❤️💐

I have to admit when I beta read Before I Let Go a few years ago I knew there was something special about Hen, in fact I went back to my notes and I wrote "Hendrix has the best vibes, I'm already obsessed with her" and per usual Kennedy came through! This is everything I was hoping for and nothing I was expecting.
We know Kennedy is a goddess at infusing real world situations into her writing, I'd venture to guess that no one comes out of her worlds emotionally unscathed and that's the way I like it.
I cried at the portrayal of Hendrix's mom, Betty, it felt real, you could wear Hendrix's hopelessness grief and vulnerability like a blanket at times. Kennedy is known for doing her research as a writer and that's why her stories are so genuine.
The force between Hendrix and Maverick felt like a living thing. I'm not saying I'm a KR connoisseur or anything but I feel like I know enough about the couple's she written to say something felt different with these two? It was so organic, and the bond was easy, they could almost articulate without words and their love has a pulse that's palpable and constant, a beating thing. I really fell in love with them, they are equals and he wants to give her his whole world.
Can't Get Enough is pure perfection! Warm, smart, emotional and at times hilarious ( I feel like people forget that Kennedy's funny too) it has so much heart and honestly the girls being back together and all the cameos had me screaming like these are real people! You've done it again Kennedy!!
"I want my love to be the most extravagant gift I ever give you"

Audio Narration: 2.5/5
- It pains me a bit to say this because I had high hopes for the audiobook, but I think the performance is affecting my enjoyment of the story - so I am DNFing the audiobook (@45%) and continuing on via print.
- First the good. I really enjoyed the female narrator’s voice, inflection, and general performance. She delivered a solid performance and if this audiobook had only her as the narrator I would have rated it higher.
- I really can’t get over how comically slow the narrators talk, especially the male narrator. I feel like I’m listening at less than 1x. I was worried I was tainted by too many sped up audiobooks in my past, but comparing it to a few of my favorite audiobooks confirmed it is markedly slower than them.
- The pausing, especially during the male narrator was painfully long. Even at with the book sped up I found myself frustrated with the length of the pauses for commas, and periods.
- Again about the male narrator specifically - I can’t quite put my finger on it but something about his pitch is off to me. it’s ever so slightly distorted sounding.
Book Content: 5/5
My first Kennedy Ryan book and it did NOT disappoint.
I think I’ve been putting off reading Kennedy Ryan because in my heart I knew as soon as I read my first book by her I was going to want to throw my TBR out the window and devour her (impressive) backlog. Well… I was right. It is going to take an unimaginable amount of willpower for me to not immediately start reading <i>Before I Let Go</i>.
Her characters are so well developed, they feel real and relatable, the emotions are raw and she handles tough topics with such care! I’m in awe. And don’t get me started on the steamy bits!
What’s to love…
- well developed characters
- strong female relationships
- MCs in their 40s
- Billionaire MMC + Badass Self-Employed FMC
- Plus-sized FMC
- Emotional
- the Alzheimer’s rep was so well done!
- Down BAD MMC
- Grade A yearning, pining, banter, and tension
There was SO much to love about this book, seriously what are you waiting for go read it now!
As for why I’m not giving this 5⭐️ — I’m blaming the audio narration. I have a strong feeling this will be a 5⭐️ for me on its (print only) reread.

This is my first Kennedy Ryan book and I really enjoyed "Can't Get Enough". I did feel that the story of Hendrix was a realistic one between Maverick and Hendrix. Intertwined the reality of hard work, loss of familiy, the sensitive nature of mourning the loss of a family member to Alzheimers and that process really made Can't Get Enough have depth. I did feel that the relationship of Hendrix and Maverick was a little farfetched being how they came together, but Id id like how Hendrix was determined woman and confident in herself. I also liked Maverick and his character. He being a successful businessman was definitely swoon-worthy. He was able to voice himself and his wants. He was thoughtful, sweet, and caring with Hendrix, which I think any reader will love. I will definitely be giving the others of this series a try. I also enjoyed the narrators Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem, they did a wonderful job of narrating this audiobook! I would be willing to listen to another audiobook by them or with them. Thank you to Hachette Audio for the advanced listener audiobook.

I loved the writing of this book. This is my first time reading a Kennedy Ryan book and absolutely cannot wait to ready more.. I loved the themes of strong women and friendships and highlighting the struggle of caregivers and aging parents and the emotional toll that can take. I always appreciate a book that can open my eyes to a topic I knew nothing about, such as the case with the business that Hendrix runs. The author's note points to the real life situation that prompted this and I was truly led down a rabbit hole of injustices that have been committed. Although this was at its heart a romance, I felt for the characters and situations that were part of their lives. Such a thought provoking book! Thank you to NetGalley and Hachette Audio for the ALC!

Thank you to Hachette audio and NetGalley for this audio arc!
Kennedy Ryan has another home run with this story! It is so good. I don’t want to give anything away so I’m not gonna talk about it but it is so good!
The narrators are great! Soothing really. Just a great read.

This is definitely my favorite out of the skyland series. Hendrix has been my favorite character because she’s a boss babe.
Hendrix is on top. She has a great job, the best friends and she finally found a guy who can handle her. Hendrix’s personal life is a lot though. She’s trying to work hard but also be tbere for her mother and help her aunt take care of her mother.
I loved Hendrix’s part of this series and she deserves someone who can match her energy.
Thanks for netgalley and publisher for a chance to listen to this audio for free in return for my honest opinion. This publishes on 5/13/25

3.5/5!
Audiobook notes: I liked the narrators! They felt real.
Liked:
-both characters. They were mature and communicated and very nice.
-the universe it’s set in. I haven’t read the other 2 books but I felt that I had a good idea of their world.
-the plot was interesting.
Thought could be a bit better:
-the stakes: I felt like the two characters didn’t have much to lose if their relationship crashed and burned. I could tell that Maverick would always pick Hendrix no matter the roadblock.
-did Maverick have any flaws?
-I wish the issues towards the end of the book came up earlier

Wow!
I guess I should say thank you to netgalley and the UK publishers for an advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I genuinely cannot praise this enough. I'm a massive Kennedy Ryan fan, and I loved the first two books in the Skyland Series. Before I Let Go will always hold a special place in my heart and I genuinely didn't think she could write something which would beat it... but I think Cant Get Enough just did it somehow. It was that good. Incredible!
It's not often after I've finished a book where I feel changed inside, a bit numb. I think we chase that feeling when we are reading and every once in a while, that something special finally comes along. This was it. I tried to imagine how I would react in some of the situations Hendrix found herself in with her mother and it chocked me up. I found myself hoping that I ever find a love like the one Hendrix and Maverick so clearly had from the first few chapters in this book.
The pacing was perfect. The book was perfect. I literally wouldn't change a thing. Bravo.
Even if you aren't typically a romance reader, please do yourself a favour and read this book. You won't regret it.

Kennedy Ryan has done it again! She has written a wonderful story that is so relatable. She touches on difficult topics like being a caregiver of someone with Alzheimer’s, being childless by choice, and fighting discrimination. This book is the best one yet! I highly recommend it!

Can’t Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan was an emotional, classy, and heartfelt romance that captivated my attention from start to finish. I loved everything about Hendrix and Maverick’s journey to HEA. While this story features a strong, independent and confident heroine, Hendrix’s story let us know that it is okay to have a supportive, loyal and caring man by your side to accomplish your goals. I cherished how Maverick and Hendrix found comfort and strength in each other as well as reliability from her best friends, Yazmin and Soledad.
Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem perform this audiobook in dual narration. Both narrators fully embodied their characters. Wesleigh’s lively, sassy performance captured every bit of Hendrix’s passionate and hardworking persona making me smile throughout. Also, softening her voice for more vulnerable moments, made Hendrix so relatable. Jakobi’s warm, smooth voice encompassed Maverick’s billionaire charismatic demeanor emphasizing all his swoony characteristics to be there and support Hendrix anyway he could. Both narrators brought the heat with this couple’s undeniable chemistry!
Overall, I enjoyed this book. If you are a fan of a billionaire romance with a strong fierce heroine, a wealthy surfer, heartfelt and emotional moments, importance of family and friends, equality in the workplace, swoony steamy moments, and a HEA you can’t get enough of then you will love Hendrix and Maverick’s story. I always look forward to more from Kennedy Ryan.

I was honored to receive an ARC copy of this book! I am a huge fan of the Skyland series!
This book was the perfect ending to the series. Hendrix is such an amazingly strong woman. I loved how this book showed Hen working through very tough real life situations and then having a man who would do anything for her walk beside her. Maverick was the perfect match for her. Run! Don't walk to get this book when it is released on May 13!
