I want to start off saying how much I loved this narration. I think both the male and female narrators really did an amazing job in to bringing the characters alive. I wasn’t super obsessed with this book but the audiobook kept me going. This follows Hendrix who is a business women and does a lot of good for her community. Then we have Maverick who is a self made billionaire businessman. They meet at a party that Maverick is hosting with his “ex girlfriend”. Hendrix does a lot of work with Zere, his ex. There is a bit of a forbidden theme throughout the book. It goes back and forth on whether or not it’s okay if they are together. Unfortunately for me the way they got together wasn’t my favorite which is why I didn’t love the story as much. Kennedy writing is so descriptive and entertaining so I will be reading more from her in the future.

5⭐ 2🌶️

I can’t get enough of Kennedy Ryan’s Skyland series! No, literally, this isn’t enough. I’m ugly crying at the fact that this story (and the entire series) was so beautifully written and that we’re closing the chapter on our trio of friends. Yasmen, Soledad, and Hendrix are the ULTIMATE friend group and while we definitely saw so much of this in the first two books, watching Yas and Sol reciprocate all of the love and devotion Hen poured into their stories during this final installment truly touched my heart even further.

Hendrix truly spoke to my soul. I loved watching her drive and determination, while also getting intimate looks into her fragile and overwhelmingly generous heart. She was always thinking of how she could best serve others, from book one until now, and I am ecstatic that she finally allowed others to serve her while still maintaining her badass independent sense of self. It was beautiful watching her navigate all of the difficult situations with grace and class while still ensuring that she maintained her self-worth.

Maverick may be one of the only billionaires I’ll give the time of day. While billionaire romance is typically not my thing, Mav was the epitome of book boyfriend dreams come true. I loved how truly devoted he was to Hen…in all ways. He was there to catch her every time there was a stumble, yet still took care to ensure that she kept her independence and confidence in knowing she could handle herself. And his never ending generosity was the cherry on top. He was the perfect balance of confidence, luxury, gratitude, and humility.

As always, Kennedy also brought the feels. Watching Hendrix navigate her mother’s illness, along with all our side plots of grief and healing, broke my heart. I loved that Mav and Hen had each other to lean on as they explored their deep connection related to this disease and my heart strings were yanked more than once. It felt real, raw, and relatable and was approached with such care and delicate hands. The author's note prior to reading gave me a good tear up as well and hearing it from Kennedy’s own perspective was such a vulnerable and powerful touch.

And the political commentary and ending author’s note? Yes. A thousand times. I loved Hendrix standing by her morals and fighting for Aspire. And Mav’s reaction to the controversy? Perfection. Be sure to read the ending author’s note for more on this as well because Kennedy was on fire when she wrote it. Truly.

I absolutely adored the audio, which was as always fantastically narrated. Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem did an incredible job bringing Maverick and Hendrix to life and I truly think their performance gave this just a little extra.

In my head, I know Skyland is over. But in my heart, I don’t want to leave these beautiful characters and am shamelessly begging for shorts in the future to give us glimpses into how our favorite friends are faring in life. Truly, I’d read their grocery lists (especially Sol’s) if Kennedy wrote them. But all jokes aside, this was the perfect ending to an incredible series and is an absolute can’t miss.

I listened to the audiobook early✨THANK YOU @hachetteaudio & @readforeverpub for the ALC✨ it was EVERYTHING I hoped it would be…and more! A masterpiece honestly!

Kennedy Ryan tells stories with so much heart and emotion-it’s impossible not to get completely absorbed into the writing and attached to these characters. Her stories are always real, raw and passionate and this latest book is such a testament to her strength as a writer.

She never fails to handle difficult topics with such extreme care and she never fails to make me cry in her books…but also laugh, swoon, giggle and kick my feet and fall completely in love with her characters.

The audiobook- A BILLION STARS ✨✨✨ Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem put their souls into this performance and you have to experience Hendrix and Maverick via audio. You can feel the heart, passion, tension, sadness…all the emotions through their narration.

If this isn’t on your TBR already, add it now and thank me later!

Thank you so much to Hachette Audio/Libro.fm for the gifted audiobook, and to Forever for the ARC via NetGalley! These are my honest thoughts.

WHAT A CONCLUSION TO THIS SKYLAND SERIES. I'll be honest and say that I was a little nervous for Hendrix's story, as the fun, solo gal in this trio of friends with lives and kids and complications, but Hen's story ended up being so authentic and real. Per usual, Kennedy Ryan brought me TO MY KNEES with the character development, capturing my heart with everything Hendrix has going on, and then adding in the REAL man, Maverick, to be her counterpart.

The thing I love most about this story is the flaws. It's messy, like real life, and it brings both comfort and peace to know that the world around us and within us can be captured and communicated through romance stories. I love that Ryan brings voice to topics that need her to tell its story, from autism, to affairs, and in Hen and Mave's case, dementia/Alzheimer's and elderly care. Plus, add in the complexity of their history as a race, and the way in which black people in the United States are still fighting for their human rights day in and day out... I get to walk a mile in someone else's shoes in these stories, and I know in my soul that this makes me more compassionate and empathetic towards others and their experiences, but it also calls me to action.

This series is heavy, but in the most beautiful, heartbreaking, healing way. I'm so glad Hendrix got to finish us out with a man who made vulnerable, loud choices for the things he loves. I love a down bad man who will take on anything in the world for his woman, and that's exactly who Maverick is. And still, Hendrix is a strong, independent individual with so much dream and hope and live for all on her own. I loved that Hendrix was a little bit shy about stepping into a relationship, because she wanted to still be able to chase her dreams, but she didn't let those fears stop her. She stepped up and figured out how to have all the things in life she wants. We need more of that kind of example.

Five stars. The audio was fantastic. It brought this raw element of the story to life, and both narrators brought a culture to life with their performance. I never wanted to press stop, and that's the best sign of an amazing audiobook.

This complete my whole life!! I couldn’t wait for Hendrix’s story, and it was well worth the wait! Can’t Get Enough is a beautifully written romance that dives deep into themes of healing, second chances, and vulnerability. Kennedy Ryan does it again - crafting complex, authentic characters whose chemistry and emotional journey feel both powerful and real. This story offers a perfect blend of passion and poignancy. It’s a compelling read that stays with you long after the final page. I already can’t wait to read it again! And the narrators are the BEST to ever do it. They make the story feel so real, and leaves you wanting more.

Hell yeah, Kennedy Ryan has done it again! I love this series so freaking much! I love these characters and their relatability, their lives, relationships, you name it! Everything about this was perfection!

For me, Kennedy Ryan really can do no wrong with this series. She has done such a lovely job of tackling really difficult topics while also showing lightheartedness, romance, fun. I love the focus on women’s empowerment and strong female friendships. I didn’t love this book as much as I absolutely adored the first two, but I still really enjoyed this! Both narrators were fantastic and did a wonderful job portraying depth and emotion in the characters. Highly recommend this series! Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to review this book.

Thank you @hachetteaudio for the digital ALC. ‧₊˚⊹ Felt lucky to read this early with buddy reading friends!

♡ I love this series with my whole heart. The banter had me rolling. The romance is steamy, the tension palpable.

It’s more than just another romance book. This is a book about friendship, about community, about women supporting women, about grief and loss and love.

This book confronts and brings to light very current, very real social issues such as so-called reverse racism and reverse discrimination. Kennedy is never afraid to go beneath surface level. And I 👏🏽 am 👏🏽 here 👏🏽 for it!

🎧 The dual POV audio narration alternating between Hendrix and Mav was on point.

Pick this one up — releasing May 13th. You do not have to read the priors, although if you do, you’ll recognize many of the side characters that we know and love 💕

Oooowwwwweeeee that was a spicy book 🌶️ 🥵. I don’t recall the other 2 in the series being quite that spicy!

I have really enjoyed Kennedy Ryan’s previous two novels in the Skyland series and was excited to get an advanced copy of the latest! I think it was actually my favorite of the three.

I really enjoyed Hendrix and Maverick and their chemistry! Hendrix was a complex character and I liked that this felt like more than a fluffy romance (although I love those too). Hendrix is dealing with a mother with dementia as well as still healing from the grief of losing her father to an accident.

I also really enjoyed reading about Maverick’s lavish lifestyle- it’s always fun to envious having a cook or a house in Malibu! I did feel like Maverick was way too perfect- the guy could have used a flaw or two.

Overall, I enjoyed this one but it did feel a little too long and at times a bit cheesy. But a solid book that I’d recommend! I loved the narrators as well.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the arc.

Kennedy Ryan gave us the story we've been waiting for. Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem delivered the narration Hendrix deserved.

I appreciate the time the author took to research this topic, including real life stories. I really appreciated how Hendrix found love in the midst of taking care of her mom while also running her business. Having taken care of my mom I could fully relate to Hendrix. I found love while taking caring of mom. Like Maverick, my husband came right in to help without complaint. Kennedy Ryan tackled Alzheimer's with care and I'm grateful.

I enjoyed the relationship between Hendrix and Maverick. I liked seeing them grow into it. The situation with Zere was handled delicately. While neither Hendrix or Maverick did anything wrong, they both took her feelings into consideration before going public. I am glad Zere's story arc wasn't long and drawn out.

One of my favorite moments was with Maverick and Hendrix's mom. The way he took time just to talk with her and help her get back to gardening was heartwarming.

I'm sad to see the series end but at the same time this was the perfect farwell to Yasmine, Soledad and Hendrix.

Thank you NetGalley for the ALC. I am leaving a voluntary review.

I found it hard to fall into this story, it took me a while to get into the plot and get the characters but once it got going I was really hooked. There was a wide range of characters in the story and they all had uniqueness and charm to them that really had you hooked in. The romance was was really sweet, and well thought through.

I really appreciated the Alzheimer's storyline - it felt authentic and not forced for the story. It was well explained, educational and didn't feel 'cheap' like I've seen other illnesses used in books (It is a pet peeve when illnesses feel chucked into a story to do nothing more than to heighten emotions or 'twist' the plot. Kennedy Ryan put a character with an illness to help educate, not move the story along. Thank you Kennedy Ryan!)

The performance of the story was also amazing - Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem really bought the characters to life and helped enhance the story telling! I would definitely recommend listening to the story!

Thank you for the Audio ARC!

This is the 3rd book in the Skyland Series from Kennedy Ryan but this is the first book I have read. I loved everything about this book. It’s definitely a slow burn but it pays off in the most delicious way.

This audiobook was narrated by the amazing Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem who really pull you into this story in rte best way.

Hendrix Barry is a boss. Literally and figuratively. She is a successful manger and dipping her toe in the entertainment world, she runs a business that helps empower black women businesses with funding and grants, and she is an amazing friend. What isn’t going as well is her personal life. She is trying to manage her growing businesses while care for her ailing mother that lives in another state. Although she is single, she isn’t necessarily pinning for a man because she is determined not to settle.

Enter Maverick Bell. One of the few black billionaires, he is in a pretty high profile relationship with a model that does business with Hendrix. When Maverick and Hendrix meet there is an immediate attraction, then she find out who he is and she withdraws for the sake of her business relationship. What she doesn’t know its that Maverick and his gf have already broken up and Maverick is a man that goes after exactly what he wants.

This book has all the things: slow burn, boss lady energy, besties, billionaire, family illness, and social justice issues. This book is a fantastic and realistic portrayal of wealth, power, and how no matter how rich you are never divorced from the effects of racism and social issues. These issues are woven so seamlessly into the story that you will are immediately drawn in and you won’t want to stop reading/listening. Great book and a great listen.

All the feelings!!!

We are returning to our group of friends and this time it is Hendrix's turn! She has so much going on in her busy life and then adding into it her mother's health is declining. In another city.

Enter Maverick. Hendrix is shutting him down in every direction but he won't be stopped! He is making sure she knows he is in it for the long haul whether she realizes it know or in ten years. He's dedicated.

I seriously Can't Get Enough (sorry, I had too!) of these two. They were by far my favorite duo (but really I love them all) in the Skyland series. The bond, the devotion, the love this group of friends has for one another is something I hope everyone gets to experience at least once in their lives!

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for a chance to read and review.

"But the world is constantly demanding that why. There are women like me that are mothering in our own wasy tat have never carried a child or been a parent. Were teachers, and mentors, and social workers and godmothers. we find ways to poor love into the world. To shape the world for good without bearing a child. Its not about our wombs, but about our hearts and how we share them. That is bodily agency. Me getting to decide what to do with my body in this life."

3.5⭐, 2.75🌶️, 4🎧

Okay, so I thinkkkkk this was just not the best timing for me to listen to this audiobook. Ive only seen positive reviews for Kennedy's books in general, and especially this book. but for me it felt slow, long winded, and repetitive at times. I thought Hendrix relationship and care for both her mother, as well as her best friends were beautiful, but she also got to a point for me where I was frustrated with how perfect she always was. Like I was EXHAUSTED for her! The romance with Maverick was fun at the beginning, but after the 60% mark of this book, there was nothing happening. H & M were just together and there were multiple side characters events being the primary plot and it just didnt allll feel necessary.

I wish I read this book in a month or so. I've read two heavy books with daughters caring for their mothers with Alzheimer's and it just felt repetitive to me (this is not a negative to this book, but I just didnt get the emotional effect because of my own feelings of repeating a similar plot)

💜"Friends"/ Business Partner's Ex-Boyfriend
🤎BIPOC MMC/ FMC
🤍Family Member with Alzheimer's

Narration - Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem did great jobs as Maverick and Hendrix! Both of their voices fit their characters perfectly. All the side characters and voice intonations were done spot on!

Thank you Netgalley and Hachette Audio for an ALC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

The Skyland Series has been one of my favorite series to read. I have really enjoyed Yasmen and Soledad and was so excited to get Hendrix's story. I ended up giving this a 4.75/5. In the previous stories, Hendrix has shown up as the strong friend, the wise friend, and the rich auntie. She has shown up as someone who has her life completely together at all times and is a single Pringle ready to live life however she wants.

I enjoyed getting a glimpse behind glamorous Hendrix. We got to see the Hendrix that is trying to balance having a successful career while also trying to make sure her ailing mother, who lives in another state, is taken care of. Hendrix always shows up for her friends and it seems like she has it all together. But even the strong friend needs someone to lean on.

I do appreciate that in this book, she isn't as put together as she seems. She has brief struggles being the single friend and she's not as carefree as she leads people to believe. The only reason this wasn't a solid 5 for me was because I wished there had been a little more time spent on her feelings about being the only uncoupled person in her core group. It's not something I wanted to be the focus of the book, but it would have been nice to see her realize that about herself and sit with those feelings. It's likely just a me thing.

Yasmen and Soledad made brief appearances but (it may also just be me) but I feel like they weren't as prominent in Hendrix's book as she was in their's. I do appreciate that Soledad had to remind Hendrix to take her own advice and accept that she deserves good things. Sometimes people who always appear as strong aren't always as strong as you might think.

I did love her MMC. Maverick knew from their first meeting what he wanted and was determined to pursue Hendrix. He was the first person Hendrix called when her mother had a health scare. I also love that he checked his ex about what his "type" was. She was definitely a Bitter Betty. Instead of initially going after someone who wanted the same things she did out of a relationship, she tried to force someone to want what she wanted. When he held firm on his boundaries, she tried to play the victimized ex card.

I very much enjoyed this book and can't wait for my physical copies to come in the mail to add to my bookshelf! I also wouldn't mind a little spin off of Hendrix and Maverick's assistance (hint hint, Kennedy).

This was for the Netgalley Audiobook Review:

I loved this audiobook. The narrators were great and it flowed nicely. Absolutely loved it. I devour anything by Kennedy Ryan, and this one gets added to the list!

I loved and adored this book so much. All of it. Everything. No bad thoughts, all positive. It hurt sometimes, especially when it had the moments with the mom's Alzheimers but overall I loved this man's obsession with her.

He knew what he wanted. Every time.

The audiobook is a 10 out of 10.

Kennedy Ryan has ended the Skyland Series with a bang! Can’t Get Enough is a beautiful, slow-burning love story that unfolds with depth, honesty, and emotional gravity. Hendrix is the kind of character we don’t see enough of, she’s a powerhouse boss woman who moves through life on her own terms. She’s loyal to her clients, there for her family and friends, fully committed to her career, and completely content with not wanting children. Hendrix is confident, unapologetic, and incredibly relatable.

Then Maverick enters, and what unfolds between them is the kind of love that builds slowly and intentionally. It’s a slow burn that allows space for vulnerability and trust. Their relationship is grounded in reciprocity; Hendrix and Maverick pour into each other emotionally, choosing each other with intention and mutual respect.

This book is a masterclass in intimacy, not just physical, but emotional. Every moment between Hendrix and Maverick is purposeful, building layer upon layer of connection. Their relationship isn’t rushed; it’s a slow, steady breath. And when the sparks finally fly, they ignite something remarkable. And I can’t skip the depth of social issues and Alzheimer’s representation that Kennedy weaves in with her signature care and compassion.

If you’re an audiobook fan, this one is a must-listen! The narrators flawlessly deliver every emotion and make you feel every glance and whispered word. Dare I say iconic?... Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem make the story absolutely unforgettable.

4.25⭐️ Thank you for giving us Hendrix last. I have loved her throughout the entire Skyland series. She is loud, vibrant, confident and so unapologetically herself.

This series has been so special to me. You could read each one on its own but these women deserve your full attention. It shouldn’t be so rare but it is truly refreshing to see older women portrayed in romance. Women whose life experience are closer to my own. Kennedy’s writing has an emotional depth that I just love. This one hit me hard with caring for an aging parent.

Hendrix doesn’t need a man, Maverick is not looking for love, but these two share an instant connection that neither can deny. He pulls all the stops to win her over. I am not one to care for billionaires but that man is something else. Where can one find a Maverick? Just asking for a friend.

Loved seeing Yasmen & Soledad too and Bolt & Skipper put a smile on my face. ☺️

I did this on audiobook and both narrators are perfect. Jakobi Diem could probably just read out the phone book to me. 🔥
Be sure to listen to the author’s note at the end too.

Thank you to NetGalley, Hachette Audio and the author Kennedy Ryan for the advanced listening copy. All my opinions are my own.
