Om my lanta..... Kennedy Ryan, I give you all of my stars, 5 stars without a doubt. This has been my favorite book in the Skyland series and probably my favorite Kennedy Ryan book ever. Books 1 and 2 led the buildup and Hendrix's story exceeded my expectations (which is so rare)! Not only did I love Hendrix and Mav, I also adored Skipper. Her BDE part had me in tears from laughter. Kennedy Ryan did an excellent job building Hendrix's character, her drive, her loyalty, her kindness, her sass, her advocacy for women of color, and so much more.

I could go on and on about why this book was so amazing but I'm going to list a few of my favorite things and not spoiled the book for you:
*The friendship between Hendrix, Soledad, and Yasmen
*Alzheimer's disease, explained in an educational and emotional way
*Skipper
*Hendrix not willing to sacrifice herself and her dreams
*Hendrix's relationship with her mom and aunt
*Mav's relationship with his dad, way too sweet
*Mav's unwavering support of Hendrix
*Childless by choice - I LOVE THIS and the way Hendrix explained it
*August West and Kenan Ross made an appearance <3

Format: audiobook - Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem were phenomenal!

Thank you SOOOOO much to NetGalley, Kennedy Ryan, and Hachette Audio for the advance audiobook. It has been my absolutely privilege getting to listen to this book and share my opinion. I've been looking forward to this book since last year so just imagine the volume of my squeal when I got this!

Rated 4.5 Stars

Kennedy Ryan can do no wrong. Can't Get Enough was phenomenal. Her storytelling IQ is high. She excels at engaging the reader wholly, delivering emotional impact, gut and throat punches. The emotions in this story packed quite a wallop. I didn't cry but I ran the gamut of every emotion under the sun. Her writing ages as fine wine or whiskey or some sort of spirit and is just as addictive. I loved this book. It did friendships so well, relationships in general. I loved the sisterhood. I loved Hendrix and Maverick's journey it was a clinic on what a romantic relationship should be - filled with kindness, understanding, love, generosity, great sex and so much more. I loved that it didn't shy away from difficult topics of dealing with the decline of a loved one's health, loss, racism, systems of oppression, not confirming to society's dictates etc. I loved it. I think it was phenomenally done.

The narrators performances were superbly executed. They did an amazing job. It was an absolute joy to listen to them. I loved the way they voiced these characters, such a job well done.

It's bittersweet saying goodbye to this series but what a beautiful note to end on. I highly recommend this book and series.

Kennedy Ryan finds a way to write the absolute gut punch and yet sexy reads. This is without question my favourite in the series. I placed a preorder so I can have this fabulous trophy on my shelf.

Recommend if you read emotional steamy books

Jakobi Diem and Wesleigh Siobhan are FABULOUS in the audiobook for Kennedy Ryan's latest release, Can't Get Enough. The final book in her Skyland series, Can't Get Enough is Hendrix's story. This was a highly anticipated read for me--one of my most anticipated releases in 2025--and I'm left with mixed feelings. It's hard because I loved both Before I Let Go and This Could Be Us so much, and everything I knew about Hendrix had me eagerly awaiting her story, but I found myself *making* myself finish.

So let's start with what I loved. As hard as dementia and Alzheimer's diagnoses are, I appreciated that part of the plot. I really loved the relationship between Hendrix and her mother, as her mother's disease progresses and her mind and body declines. Caretakers and loved ones of those with dementia have a very hard road to walk, but Ryan also captured how hard it is to *be the one walking that road.* Those moments between Hendrix and her mom had me in tears, whether it was Hendrix singing her mama's favorite hymn to her over the phone to calm her down, or those pockets of lucidity where they could have those super special, important conversations. I've lost multiple grandparents to Alzheimer's and/or dementia, and it's so hard to watch them become husks of themselves. I recently lost my favorite professor to the same disease. Ryan handled it with her trademark sensitivity and care, and it made the book so much deeper for me, personally. I also liked learning more about Hendrix's career as a manager and the ways in which she promotes and lifts up other women of color. And the moments with Soledad and Yasmen?! *chefs kiss* The friendship those three women have is serious #friendgoals.

Now, what I didn't like. The romance. (I know, it made me so sad.) First, let me say, by the end, I liked Hendrix and Maverick together, but it was a journey. (Spoilers incoming, read at your own risk.) When the story starts, Maverick is still (as far as the world knows) in a relationship with his model girlfriend of three years, although in reality they've been broken up for a month. Mav and Hendrix meet shortly before he and his ex's separation is announced, and both Mav and Hendrix felt an immediate connection. No harm, no foul--no cheating occurred. But after the breakup goes public, Mav doesn't waste any time pursuing Hendrix, even though she repeatedly says no and explains that out of respect for his ex, who is someone she's going into business with, she doesn't want to pursue a relationship. He disregards her "no" at every turn, sending her dozens and dozens of flowers, showing up in her city, inviting himself up to her apartment, and seducing her at his ex's birthday party in a coat closet. And he's an (almost) billionaire. These kinds of behaviors could all come across as love=bombing, and for me, it raised all the red flags. Now, ultimately, they end up happily together, and he turns out to be a wonderful man and partner, but it didn't make the way he handled the beginning of their relationship comfortable for me.

That being said, by the end, I was rooting for them because it was obvious that her resistance to his attention wasn't ultimately because she didn't want the relationship but because she was held back by fear and some misguided sense of loyalty to his ex. I loved how Mav supported her both with her mom and with her business. He was so kind and supportive and available. Their connection was instant, deep, and believable. We need more romances with forty-year-old main characters who actually act their age, like Maverick and Hendrix. I appreciated how they complemented each other and how aligned they were with their life goals and desires.

Anyway, solid 4 stars. The writing alone would be 5, the plot by itself a 3, so 4 is a happy medium. And I promise, writing this review hurt me way more than it hurt you. Regardless, I will never stop singing Kennedy Ryan's praises. I will recommend her books to my dying breath because they're JUST. THAT. GOOD.

Can’t Get Enough is the 3rd standalone in the Skyland series! My favorite is still Before I Let Go, but this book is now my second favorite in the series. Similarly to the previous book, this is more women’s fiction with a romance subplot but the balance worked for me better in this one (or I was just more prepared on what to expect lol).

Hendrix is such a strong character, we have seen her throughout the series since she’s best friends with the heroines in this series. We see early into the story that Hendrix is caring for her mother who has dementia (similar vibes to Say You’ll Remember Me by Abby Jimenez that recently released, but I liked the overall story in this Kennedy book more). She has a thriving business in the entertainment industry. Maverick is a billionaire after the sale of his sport betting app and meets Hendrix at a party. He sees her dancing on a table and is instantly intrigued, they end up chatting and hit it off immediately. He’s very into her, she’s feeling the same way until she finds out he’s dating her new producing/business partner… But that relationship is actually over, it just hasn’t been announced publicly yet! Maverick is a single dad to his daughter who recently graduated high school and does not want more children in his life, that was the reason he split with his ex. Hendrix is child-free by choice so things definitely align for them in the long term.

Hendrix and Maverick have good chemistry, things are a complex because of his ex and Hendrix working with her too. Otherwise their connection gets pretty deep immediately, similar to the couple in the previous book This Could Be Us. It’s all the other things in life they have to sort out or figure out how they’ll make time/space for one another. He understands the weight of her taking care of her mother and having family with dementia, they connect over that shared family trauma and he’s very supportive. I liked seeing all the heroines/her friends from the series make appearances, we also get a Grip sighting/appearance and some other nods to past Kennedy characters.

This book is narrated by two of my favorite narrators, Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem, so the audiobook read was such a comfort! The way they brought the characters to life was everything.

I received an ALC and ARC, all thoughts in this review are my own!

This story was all you could ask for, funny, sexy, witty, earnest, and full of heart. I loved the representation of Alzheimer’s and what it’s like to care for a loved one with it because it was clearly VERY well researched. As someone who used to care for folks with it I was really impressed by how realistic and nuanced it was. It will undoubtedly reach a lot of people who have been a caregiver, especially to a loved one, and make them feel seen.

Hendrix was so easy to root for from the jump, and I loved how the relationship we see with Maverick is built, where it started (which had me in a chokehold!), and it’s a joy to read their connection unfold. I loved all of the elements of support and how characters really se each other in their best and worst times. I loved how complex this was all while being fun and romantic, the balance of serious sub plot to the spicy bits was well written, and it really gave this book a feeling of more than your average romance. No insta love here we get the details and timeline. I really enjoyed having a FMC in a powerful position as well, and really enjoyed seeing this character in her element at work and within her charity work. If she was real I’d be begging for a reality tv show with her, not her clients! I also have my eye on some side characters I am dying to get a story for because it’s clear this author can make you love even the side characters too much! This will undoubtedly be yet another hit for Kennedy Ryan, simply unputdownable!

I LOVED the narration by Wesleigh Siobhan & Jakob Idiem it was just so much fun! As always Wesleigh was flawless as Hendrix and brought a dynamic set of voices for all the characters and it was such a joy to listen to a title with her at the mic again! Jakob was new to me and I will definitely look out for titles from him from now on because he had equally diverse voices and brought the emotion to life. This listened with all the range of a graphic audio minus the background sounds I never seem to enjoy and I found myself absolutely engrossed in it. I definitely recommend this book in audio format for anyone who wants to take a fantastic book to even further heights!

Thank you so much to Kennedy Ryan, Book Sparks, Forever pub, and Hachette Audio for giving me a physical ARC and the ALC for my honest review.

This book is on the longer side of romance books. And as a doctor-to-be, I think we really need a lot more stories like this. I mean, as doctors, we know the symptoms and signs of diseases, but we don’t always know how the disease affects the lives of patients and their families. I really enjoy reading books with medical representation because, you know, I need to understand—I need to empathize with my future patients. I need to see them as human beings, not just cases or conditions.

I loved the Alzheimer’s representation in this book because it didn’t just show how it impacts the patient, but also how it affects their family—especially the daughter, who had to become a parent to her own mother.

I swear the way these women talk to each other makes me blush. Look I get you being friends but there's something called privacy 😭

The accent in Kennedy Ryan's audiobooks is always a little bit hard for me, but I guess it's accurate, so that's good. The female narrator, particularly, is brilliant!

SKIP CHAPTER: 25, 29, 30, 35, 38, 41, 47

If I had known that a review ratio above 80% would land me my most anticipated book, I would have made the effort much earlier 😭
Thank you so much Netgalley and Hachette Audio 💕💕

I don’t think it’s hit me yet as I start to write this review that this is the end of Skyland. The characters that Kennedy Ryan writes are so well rounded the stories so meaningful. That I look at the time thinking only a short period has passed because I’m so caught up in the world and lives that she’s built that the book is over and it’s been hours. And then I have to sit here and contemplate how the next book I’m going to choose to read could live up to what I just read
I don’t know if I can choose one character over the other when it comes to this friend group of which I like best they all have their individual stories that are just so special. Hendrix is a business woman who has drive but also is a caregiver to her mother who has Alzheimer’s. We see in this book that not only does. She share that responsibility with her aunt who also has her own issues and then she becomes the caregiver of both.
I feel like when it comes to billionaire romances we all have the idea that they just come in and sweep us off their feet and while there was some of that in this, it was also different than your average billionaire romance book. Maverick has that drive to build his business to what it is today and one thing that attracts him to Hen is her drive.
I also just turned 40 this week and it’s so hard to find books that the main characters are my age. And not only that but that they also don’t feel the need to have children. I do feel that out of all the books. This one is the one that calls to me the most but this series is just one that’s going to stay with me for a very long time and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Kennedy Ryan next.
**edit to add audiobook addition***
I was able to experience the book a second time via audiobook and let me tell you it’s the first without it was amazing the addition of the audiobook was they way that Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem bring to life the characters of this book is nothing short of outstanding. I know if ever see their names associated with a book it’s going to be good. The way Wesleigh tells stories is my absolute favorite. I love how she inflects her voice and out of all the female narrators when she does her male voice during dual narration audios. All in all a great casting a great production.

Thank you to the publisher as I received a complimentary reader copy from Forever all thoughts and opinions are my own!

Can’t Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan
Pub Date: 5/13/25
Format: ebook
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What an utterly stunning way to bring this chapter in Skyland to a close. This book has so much vulnerability and heart. From the moment we met Hendrix in Before I Let Go, I knew I could not wait to get my grubby little hands on her story and I have to say this exceeded my expectations.

Hendrix’s story is so tender and fierce. I loved watching her balance her career ambitions with what she actually wanted to prioritize in her personal life as she goes through this journey of meeting Maverick, handling her mother’s battle with Alzheimer’s, and everything else along the way. She is such a strong and badass woman but no one does character development like Kennedy Ryan and the way Hendrix is fully flushed out in this novel is really special.

And Maverick? Get. Out. Of. Here. I really thought that any love interest in this book was going to be mid for me because Judah Cross ruined all fictional men forever (can we have more forensic accountant love interests please?) but Maverick was the perfect counterpart to Hendrix and their forbidden love slow burn was so dang fiery 🔥

To top off this beautiful story, we get even more special moments between Hendrix, Yasmin, and Soledad which are forever my favorite parts. The female friendship between these three is just so well written and I especially love that they aren’t childhood friends. As someone who has found most of my people in my late 20s/early 30s I feel like this is just such incredible representation of the fierceness of adult female friendships.

All in all, I found this book to be perfect and it left me craving more of this incredible cast of characters (and some greasy Waffle House food). Do not sleep on this one!!

Update after receiving audio: these narrators are absolutely perfect for the characters and I would highly recommend either format of this book.

This was hands down my favorite book in the Skyland series. I already loved Hendrix from the earlier books, but getting to step fully into her world made me feel connected to her in a way I didn’t expect. She’s smart, funny, loyal, and fiercely committed to the people and causes she cares about. Watching her juggle her booming business, care for her mom with Alzheimer’s, and try to open herself up to love felt so real. I saw pieces of myself in her.

And then there’s Maverick. This man is the blueprint. He’s steady, soft, and completely serious about Hendrix from the jump. The way he supports her without trying to fix or change her was everything. His heart was never in question. Their chemistry is unreal and their relationship is full of mutual respect and care.

But what made this book, and the Skyland series as a whole, special was how much love it poured into female friendship and the messiness of life. The bond between Hendrix, Yasmeen, and Soledad is still the emotional anchor of the series, and it made me extra grateful for the women in my own life. Kennedy Ryan knows how to write characters that feel like real people, and this book felt like it showed up at exactly the right time for me. I didn’t want it to end.
