What a beautiful ending to an amazing series!

Hendrix and Maverick are a powerful and beautiful couple! I don’t normally read forbidden love stories but this might have changed my mind. The journey Hendrix went on already being the independent woman she is and already knowing what she wants out of life was so beautiful to watch! Learning that she doesn’t have to shoulder everything on her own and that she can depend on others. As usual the male MC is well written. The perfect partner for Hendrix. The topic of Alzheimer’s in this story was raw and heartbreaking and so real. Truly a great ending to the series. This was my first time listening to a Kennedy Ryan audiobook and I understand the hype!! The narrators were absolutely perfect.

Kendrick runs her own company, one that invests in black women owed businesses. She works hard and is struggling as her mom is suffering with Alzheimer's disease and needs more constant care. Kennedy works in Atlanta and grew up a few hours away, so she's trying to balance that care with her aunt.

She meets Maverick at a party and quickly realizes he's the billionaire hosting the party. Maverick actually seems interested in investing in her company and recently lost a family member to Alzheimer's as well. He has a lot of advice and seems to want to listen as well. He also seems more than friendly but just broke up with a long term girlfriend.... The girlfriend who is actually one of Kendrick's customers.

The narrator does an excellent job!

Kennedy Ryan's books are always attention grabbing for me. This cover is AMAZING. All I knew before reading was that this focused on Hendrix. Kennedy Ryan puts so much thought and research and empathy into the tougher topics she includes in her stories and this was no exception. I loved seeing a fmc who emphatically didn't want children represented in a romance. That's not something we see represented very much and it's great to see that a romance doesn't need children to have a HEA. I loved that these characters are older both in their 40s with established careers. Mav's character was great. He knew what he wanted and didn't let his ex or Hendrix sway him from going after what he wanted. The narrators did a great job of bringing the characters to life and I loved seeing the small references to Kennedy's other books. I did think Hendrix spent too much time worrying about Mav's ex. They were business partners at best and she kept using it as an excuse to the point the "forbidden" aspect felt forced. It didn't need to be that big of a deal. I'm also kind of tired of see the exes portrayed as the drama causes or the villains. Zere could have easily been portrayed as a strong confident woman who was mature enough to understand an end is an end and no one did her wrong. I also wish we had gotten more scenes between Hendrix and her mother. I wasn't as emotionally impacted as I think I should have been because they only had a couple scenes to really see what her mother was going through. This was a satisfying conclusion to the series. Book 1 remains my favorite though so 3.5 stars.

Five million stars. The perfect wrap on Skyland 🫶🏻

KENNEDY, MA’AM… you outdid yourself. She always does such a wonderful job at balancing all the details. From the beautiful love story to including important themes, she NEVER misses.

I knew Hendrix was going to shine when it came to her book, but she far surpassed my expectations going in. She is a fierce and loyal friend and daughter who would take down anyone in her way of supporting the ones she loves. And boy did she find a love that gave her exactly what she needed. Maverick… oh Maverick. I don’t even know where to start. He took her spirit and instead of dimming it, he showed her that she was never too much, she just didn’t have the right man. Oh and the way he did not once make her have a reason to doubt or not trust him… *chefs kiss*

I’m so sad that our time in Skyland has come to an end, but this is 1000% a series that I would re-read every year!

Thank you Hachette Audio for the ALC, the narrators were INCREDIBLE. Both narrators have performed the other two books in this series and the way they execute each individual is perfection. I could not imagine having a different voice in my ears for the Skyland series 😍

I am on a major Kennedy Ryan kick right now - and I am so glad she has a sizeable backlist because her books are so well written and her characters so intensely real, that I must have more!

The third in the Skyland series, Can't Get Enough follows Hendrix, a successful entrepreneur with so much to handle, who must now add caring for her mother who has Alzheimer's to her plate. This is not the time for love, but of course, this is precisely the time when it arrives, in the form of Maverick, a man who appreciates and supports Hendrix and her dreams.

It is not the smoothest road for Hen and Mav, but it is so incredibly worth it. We see the power of friendship, of familial love, of loving the person that you are and allowing another to love them, too.

A beautiful finish to the Skyland trilogy, and I was very happy to have followed all three stories.

Audiobook Review
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I swear, at this point, Kennedy Ryan can do no wrong in my eyes. *Can't Get Enough* should be considered a masterpiece. This story handles some sensitive topics, like a woman who chooses to be childless and an aging parent.

I devoured this book in 1.5 days; once I started, I couldn't stop—that's how good it was. The drama was just enough but not too messy, and the spicy scenes were the right amount to have you grabbing your pearls.
Hendrix was definitely giving rich auntie vibes; she had goals, drive, dreams, and ambition. A strong, Black, independent woman! I loved everything Hendrix represented. She will be in my top favorite FMCs. But let's talk about Maverick! That man—I loved how he knew from the start what he wanted and wasn't backing down from it! He stood on BDE (big d**k engery) And wasn't letting up! Gosh, I just love their characters so much. I think once this book releases, I'm going to do a reread just because.

The audiobook is dual narrated by Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem. I swear, when those two team up, you just know the audiobook is going to be phenomenal! They just work so well together and bring the characters alive. They are easy to understand and listen to. Love them so much! Listened at 2x speed.

Thank you, NetGalley, and Hachette Audio for the audiobook in exchange for my honest review.

Kennedy Ryan understands the human condition better than just about anyone I have ever read. She highlights and showcases the power of black women while simultaneously showing the struggle to thrive in a world that actively works against them. At the same time she highlights the difficulties of being a woman in a man’s world, how navigating a skinny world as a plus sized woman while still having confidence is surprising to people, and showing the power of female friendships. How she does so much and writes an amazing romance in a single book is awe inspiring. This book will smash you to pieces then build you back stronger and better in the best possible way.
The narrators in this story made this story interesting, fun, and engaging.

Another great book from Kennedy Ryan. I have really enjoyed the Skyland series and reading about these strong female characters. I love that they all have their own journey to love. Not everything is perfect, but they always have each other. I wish there was a follow up book that talked about the assistants. I think there is definitely a love story there too.

Thank you for ARC! The narrators were amazing!!! Kennedy Ryan never misses. This book was equally hilarious and touching. Kennedy is the queen of representation and inclusivity in romance books. This is a bit on the longer side for your typical romance book, it’s absolutely worth it. I truly appreciate how Miss Ryan took the time to full flesh out every single character, the time she took researching the delicate themes in this book, and the amazing friendships she is building in this series. I do wish the romance was a little… more. But I also love the focus on Hendrix’s character growth. Kennedy writes the BEST FMCs.

I started this book on audio but had a difficult time with it. I just couldn't connect with the narrators. I felt like I was missing out on so much story. I switched over to the eARC and enjoyed it so much better.

Hendrix Barry, 40 years old, is a powerhouse of a woman. Strong and confident. I was excited to finally read her story. Maverick Bell, billionaire businessman, is the perfect match for her. He is definitely swoon-worthy. He knows what he wants, and he wants Hendrix. He is so sweet and caring with her, spoiling her every chance he gets.

The Alzheimer's aspect (Hendrix's mother) was really interesting. Definitely different with everyone. As someone who has lost a loved one to this, I could relate to some of her mother's behaviors.

The reason that it's not a five-star read is that I would have loved them to spend more time together. They were apart a lot of the book which makes it difficult for any kind of relationship.

Thank you to Forever Publishing for the advanced readers copy and to Hachette Audio/Libro.fm for the advanced listener copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

ALC provided by the author, NetGalley, and Hachette Audio – thank you so much for this unforgettable experience!

Kennedy Ryan is that rare writer who makes you feel smarter, stronger, and more alive just for reading her work. Let me begin by saying: I absolutely could not get enough of this audiobook. I listened. I bookmarked half the chapters. And when it ended? I sat in stunned silence like I had just finished a masterclass in storytelling, performed by the BEST of audiobook narration.

Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem, you did not just narrate this book—you breathed it to life. You inhabited Hendrix and Maverick so thoroughly that I forgot I was listening to an audiobook, it felt like being a fly on the wall where two soulmates are circling each other in a world that is both glamorous and deeply, achingly real. These narrators didn’t just convey emotions—they channeled them.

Wesleigh Siobhan is Hendrix Barry. Her voice captured Hendrix’s fierce ambition, her vulnerability as a daughter navigating her mother’s Alzheimer diagnosis, and her “rich auntie energy” with such authenticity, I found myself pausing to wipe away tears or clutch my chest at her vulnerability and realness. Her performance in the quiet, gutting moments was utter perfection.

Jakobi Diem, meanwhile, gave Maverick Bell all the swagger, warmth, and subtle intensity he deserved. His voice had just the right amount of silk and gravity—a man who could ruin your life and rebuild it in the same breath. His scenes with his father? Poignant but also comedic gold.

Together, Siobhan and Diem created pure magic. Their chemistry made every conversation sizzle, and their pacing, inflection, and emotional range elevated this already-brilliant novel to another level entirely.

Now let’s talk about the book itself—because Kennedy Ryan writes BIPOC stories that shatter ceilings and soften hearts. "Can’t Get Enough" isn’t just a love story—it’s a legacy. Hendrix and Mav are two driven, powerful individuals, Hendrix is childless by choice and Maverick is perfectly content with his grown daughter. They meet as equals and rise together. Their love is not built on rescue or sacrifice—it’s built on mutual respect, reverence, and some seriously hot mutual pining.

🖤 Tropes you’ll love:
Billionaire MMC
Forbidden romance
Successful Rich Auntie Energy
Childless by choice
Caregiver/dementia rep that is equal parts beautifully heartbreaking and hopeful
Slow burn but when it gets there... whooooooo it's there

I also want to mention how beautifully the Alzheimer's arc was handled—emotionally honest without being exploitative, educational without being clinical. Watching Hendrix shift from daughter to caregiver, without losing her own identity, was one of the most poignant parts of the novel.

Oh, and can we PLEASE talk about Skipper?! The scene-stealing queen we never knew we needed. ICONIC. I want a novella just for her. lol

🙏 Thank you again to Kennedy Ryan, NetGalley, and Hachette Audio for this ALC.

5 Stars – A Gorgeous, Gut-Punching Story That’s Still Haunting My Heart

Thank you to NetGalley and Hachette Audio for an ALC in exchange for an honest review!

I knew going in that Can’t Get Enough—the third installment in Kennedy Ryan’s Skyland series—would be another five-star read. Every book in this series has completely owned my heart, but this one still managed to wreck me in the best possible way. It’s sexy, emotionally raw, full of heart, and utterly unforgettable.

Hen was everything. Her strength, compassion, and fierce love for her family made her one of my favorite heroines in the entire series. The way she cared for her mother was so tender and selfless—it absolutely broke me. That thread of caregiving, grief, and devotion grounded the romance in such a powerful way. Hen wasn’t just navigating a love story—she was holding the weight of her world, and doing it with such grace.

And Maverick? I mean… where do I start? I love a billionaire romance, and this one hit every single note I crave in the trope—power, charm, emotional depth, and a hidden vulnerability that completely undoes you. Maverick is intense but gentle, a man who knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to love with his whole heart. The chemistry between him and Hen? Off the charts. But even more than that, their connection felt earned—full of mutual respect, support, and deep emotional intimacy.

The writing, as always, is lush and lyrical. Kennedy Ryan doesn’t just write love stories—she writes lived experiences that pulse with soul and nuance. Every emotion was palpable. I laughed, cried, swooned, and had to take breaks just to breathe through some of the more gut-wrenching moments.

And the audiobook? Absolutely phenomenal. The narrators brought so much life to Hen and Maverick’s story—I was fully immersed and didn’t want it to end.

This book was a stunning addition to an already iconic series. Can’t Get Enough is romantic, powerful, and bursting with heart. I’ll be thinking about this one—and the Skyland series—for a long, long time.

I read the first book in this series written by Kennedy Ryan with my ears and the audiobook was voiced by Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem. I did not read the second book in this series and so when I started this advance copy of the audiobook for Can't Get Enough I thought my ears were betraying me. This book is voiced by the same two narrators from the first book. I think that's a huge miss for this trilogy of three distinctively different characters. Right off the bat, I'm unsure about this story because I can't stop myself form picturing Yasmen and Josiah as the characters when they are distinctly described as different. Getting past that initial feeling of disturbance and the story pulls and tugs and emotions related to parental loss and diagnosis of Alzheimer's. Truly difficult to read about a loved one experiencing this horrible disease. Our main character Hendrix is so strong in business but a wreck when it comes to how to navigate her mother's diagnosis and how she can stay in her childhood home to be surrounded by what's familiar while she works in another state. The romance between Mav and Hendrix feels real and developing as a connection they cannot deny. I love that she is described as curvaceous and not tall and thin as some of the other characters. This rings so true with women in general wearing their curves well and especially for black women who are known for their curves. Body positivity at it's best. Then there's the foundation that Hendrix is building for entrepreneurs of small black women to help them grow and the fights in the court that she has to battle. All surrounding the obstacles that land in the way for Mav and Hendrix. I enjoyed this story but really wished the audiobook had been different narrators so that there was a distinct difference between these three stories.

Kennedy Ryan truly can do no wrong. However, these narrators always bring so much more life to the characters than my own inner voice ever could. This audio was spectacular and I hope Kennedy never stops using both of them for her books.

Finally being able to hear Hendrix' story was so beautiful. Hendrix simply is that girl and I love the kind of man Mav was to her, Both of their stories were so beautiful and I genuinely cant get enough of all these characters. I'm going to miss these women but I am so grateful to have experiences these stories. Kennedy truly writes poetry and I couldn't be more grateful to be a reader than when I read and listen to Kennedy's writing. Thank you so much for my early copy.

I was so excited to get this arc! Of course the audiobook was off the charts great..two of my favs narrated it! I’m stuck between this and the first book in the sky land series as my top #1’s.

“I have never in my life yelled at a girl like this” jkjk, but also…kinda

With Kennedy Ryan, you know to settle in for some big feels and potential (read: guaranteed) emotional damage. These characters and story felt so real, if I’m being honest, almost a little too real. Both Hendricks and Maverick have gone through it, caretaking for family with Alzheimer’s. Fair warning, there are some devastating scenes with this experience. Obviously, I cried. Ufff.

Past that devastation, the romance and spice were delectable. Mav makes his intentions clear from the get, and Hen is confident and secure in who she is. Side note, ‘Hen’ cutest nickname 😚

Thank you Net Galley and Hachette Audio for the ARC, this was such a treat.

The women of Skyland captured my attention from the from the first book of series. I’ve eagerly anticipated Hendrix’s story and Kennedy Ryan far exceeded my lofty expectations. Simply put, CAN’T GET ENOUGH is a MASTERPIECE.

Hendrix Barry has always been a fascinating character. Strong, successful, and independent; she is the epitome of fierce. She’s a supportive friend, generous auntie, and role model for women - particularly black women - in business. Ms. Ryan gives us a glimpse of the human side of Hendrix and we find a woman who is who is more vulnerable than her outward persona suggests.

This is a romance with spice and steam and another insanely hot Kennedy Ryan male love interest. Like the other Skyland men, the hotness goes beyond physical attributes (though there’s plenty of that) to showcase a man who is a partner in the truest sense. Maverick Bell may be rich, powerful, and attractive, but those are not his best qualities. He shines in his willingness to meet Hendrix where she is and give her what she needs, not what he thinks she needs.

This story goes well beyond romance. The storyline dealing with Hendrix’s mom’s Alzheimer’s journey is poignant and authentic. It felt intensely personal as we are in a similar place with my much loved mother-in-law. I stopped reading more than once to wipe tears from my eyes. There’s also a ripped from the headlines theme that I don’t want to spoil, but I do want to applaud Ms. Ryan for her outspoken advocacy.

Ms. Ryan spotlights the importance of female friendships and their ability to sustain, protect, and nourish even when women are in different stages of life. Those friendships are treasures. That theme carries through the series.

The audiobook is spectacularly narrated by Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem. These talented performers convey the full range of emotions captured in Ms. Ryan’s words. Treat yourself as they take you on this heartfelt journey.

Thank you to NetGalley, Hachette Audio, and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for the advance copies. All opinions are my own.

Goodness!! Kennedy Ryan always brings all the emotions to the surface! I love how her books are an amazing love story, but still cover heavy and real topics. Can't Get Enough is no different. This book had me tearing up during the author's note! What an amazing love story about 2 characters who can't find a way to be without each other but also help each other grow through tough circumstances!

This is book three in the Skyland series and it’s our girl Hendrix’s book! I’ve been so excited for her story ever since first meeting her in Before I Let Go. She’s 110% herself and knows exactly what she wants from life. She doesn’t want kids but has one of the biggest hearts ever. She takes care of her people, her girls, their kids, her mom, her aunt, her mannnnnn 😉 speaking of her man, Maverick is the absolute perfect person for her. He understands her better than anyone else. He treats her like the black queen that she is and it’s so beautiful to see! This one is emotional. Especially if you have ever dealt with a family member having Alzheimer’s. It’s a hard thing to see a family member go thru this, especially when it’s your mom. I think Hendrix does the best that she can!

Thank you Hachette Audio and NetGalley for this ALC! I loved every bit of this audiobook. Both narrators did a fantastic job bringing this story to life and I can’t wait for everyone to check it out!
