Kennedy Ryan consistently steps up the game for the whole romance genre with her gorgeous novels of Black women finding partners who love them fiercely, wholly, and with the devotion and care they deserve. Can’t Get Enough shows she is a master of her craft, and the audio brings the book to life with a dual narration that gives the audiobook such character and depth. This was a 5 star read for me!
Can’t Get Enough is the third and final installment in the beloved Skyland series, centering around a group of three friends who form a village around each other as they fall in love and move through life’s hardships. Like the earlier books in the series, this book dives into hard topics; caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s and the racist takedown of affirmative action both play significant roles in the story. At the core of the novel is the love story between Hendrix, a powerful Black businesswoman who has built a career as an independent leader who works to promote other Black women in business and media, and Maverick, a Black billionaire tech mogul. Hendrix is fiercely independent, sure of herself and her desires, and deeply caring. When she meets Maverick, they immediately bond over their shared experience caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s and their interest in venture capital to promote Black-owned businesses. But Maverick is fresh out of a relationship with a business partner of Hendrix’s, so they fight their growing connection while Hendrix wrestles with what it would mean to choose her happiness and a real partner over a business venture as a woman who has always prioritized her own dreams and goals first.
It’s a testament to Kennedy Ryan that this billionaire romance is so much deeper and richer than the trope, as Hendrix and Maverick find their matches in one another and then work to use their money and power in business for good. I loved this conclusion to the Skyland series, with lots of appearances from the characters in the previous novels, and a shared happy ending for all three women and their families—but one that doesn’t paper over the reality of the many ways that Black women are being targeted in this country. Kennedy Ryan is a brilliant storyteller, and the audio for this book brings it to a whole new level.

I have heard so many great things about Kennedy Ryan that I knew it was finally time to see what all the fuss was about. I was a bit hesitant to start with Can't Get Enough because billionaire romances typically do nothing for me, but I ended up genuinely enjoying this one.
I loved Hendrix. She was successful without being harsh, which is so refreshing because powerful women are often portrayed as cold or cutthroat. I do not mean confident women who have opinions or set boundaries. I mean plain mean. Hendrix had a vibrant personality, but we also get to see her softer side in the way she cares for her mom, who is dealing with Alzheimer’s, and with her friendships. I wish we had more time with the whole friend group because those scenes were some of my favorites. Now, I need to go back and read the rest of the series.
Maverick Bell knew what he wanted, and he was not playing around. This is where billionaire romances tend to lose me. They often come across as I can have whatever I want, including you. However, I never felt that with Mav. He chased her but wasn't forceful about it. He wanted her to thrive in her own space and succeed on her terms, and I loved him for that.
I loved them as a couple. The spice was fantastic, and I smiled so much when they were together. Their chemistry lept off the page.
I’m not one to shy away from heavier themes in romance. I tend to prefer stories with emotional topics and well-rounded, relatable characters. I’ve read a few romances lately that deal with Alzheimer's, and I have to say, Ryan’s take stood out. I thought it was written with so much care.
The audio production was fantastic. Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem brought Hendrix and Mav to life. The only thing that would have made it better is duet narration, but I think duet narration makes everything better.

Kennedy Ryan seems at the top of the recommendation lists for contemporary romance so I had to give this book a try. In this third installment in the Skyland series, Hendrix is a vibrant businesswoman who is boldly independent and unapologetically childless by choice. She crosses paths with tech mogul Maverick and sparks fly with this tall, dark and handsome man who is also filthy rich and newly detached from his previous long-term partner. Unfortunately potentially conflicting business and personal connections cause a hurdle in pursuing their own chemistry and pleasure… but only at first. The two form a bond over navigating the emotional toil of Alzheimer’s in a loved one, and eventually they depend on each other in more ways than one. This book felt very long to me and at times melodramatic. I felt like the emotional entanglements were often overanalyzed and exhausting. I really wanted to like this book and came in with high expectations, but this romance felt like a bit too much work. I’d recommend to those who are up for a deep dive into feelings and sexual connection. The dual narration was well cast.

Kennedy Ryan is an author who constantly raises the bar for what it means to create art that reflects joy in the hard times, for communities who so often don't get to see that for themselves in popular media. I loved every single part of Hendrix and Maverick's story in a way that deeply goes beyond words. This book felt like a Kennedy Ryan hug: healing, filled with love, and the greatest reminder of home.
All of the above was magnified by Wesleigh Siobhan's incredible performance because I will listen to anything she narrates.

Kennedy Ryan does it again with another heartfelt, moving, can’t put it down novel. The way she wades through the story of Alzheimer’s all while maintaining the budding love story is really amazing. This book really checks it all off, lovable funny characters, great plot and some spice to wrap it all up! 5 stars. Not a question about it.
Thanks NetGalley and Hachette Audio for this copy in exchange for my honest

Well, thank you #netgalley and/or whoever selected me for an ALC of this book because this series tends to have massive waiting lists at the libraries.
Did a good job of showing caring for an ill / declining family member, along with some dementia / Alzheimers representation.
One thing I love about Ryan’s books is that the dialogue is REAL, even in professional settings—I feel like I don’t see this very often.
Billionaire romance.
Grief.
Slow-burn.
Other woman drama.
Overall:
Very, very sweet. Mostly kept me hooked—4 stars.
🎧 Audio:
Fantastic voice-acting and overall sound quality. 5 stars.

Narration on this was great however I didn’t love the male narrator voice initially, but I adjusted.
This was classic Kennedy Ryan. I loved the Alzheimer’s rep and also the MCs feelings on children. I think Kennedy Ryan wrapped up the Skyland series really well with this one and it felt new and not over done. I will definitely continue to be a Kennedy Ryan supporter and look forward to future works.

4.5/5
Hendrix! So happy she finally got her story. I've enjoyed her character since book #1 and will forever admire her. She's such a strong woman who literally needs no man. I read this series back to back within a span of 2-3 weeks or so. So not sure if it's because of that, but I wasn't like WOWed by this book like I was with the other ones. Don't get me wrong, it was still an amazing book and I still love it so much. Just was different than the other 2.
Kennedy Ryan always does an amazing job covering heavy topics and in this book, she talks about alzheimer's. I wish the chemistry between her and Maverick was more deep than super spicy sex scenes hahah. I am sad that the series has concluded because I really enjoyed living in this world with Yasmen, Soledad, and Hendrix. Must read series!

Wow. What an amazing book. I’ve wanted t read this series since I saw the first book in a store and when the opportunity to read the 3rd book came up I was like yes I have to see what the hype is.
Let me just tell you the hype is warranted the characters are deep, the love is good, the spice is real and raw. :) Strong characters with strong moral and ambition. I don’t think I’ve read a book that accurately portrays the thoughts of couples around 40 in this way. Plus touching on the heartbreaking time of aging parents with Alzheimer’s. The strong topic of affirmative action. I mean this book has it all
I feel bad I read this wait of order but I will be going back to read the first two. Can’t wait to dive into the rest
Of this friend group.
Hackett Audio gave me the audio version of this book and let me just say the two narrators were sooooo on point. I mean their expressions and enthusiasm literally helped me picture this story while cleaning my house. I was laughing and gasping and all the things. :) I couldn’t go to bed without finish this book!! Amazing.
Read this book!!

As someone who doesn’t typically reach for romance novels, I can confidently say: Kennedy Ryan has converted me. Can’t Get Enough is everything I didn’t know I needed—emotional, empowering, sexy, and deeply human. Kennedy Ryan has officially become an auto-buy author for me. I will read anything she writes.
This book follows Hendrix Barry, a powerhouse woman who seems to have it all—an enviable career, an unbreakable circle of friends, and a loving family. But beneath the shine, she’s carrying the heavy responsibility of caring for an aging parent, and romance is the last thing on her priority list. Enter Maverick Bell—tech mogul, heartbreak hazard, and the one man who seems to truly see her. Their connection is electric from the very first moment, and watching their relationship unfold was breathtaking.
The beauty of this story is how Ryan captures the complexity of modern womanhood—ambition, love, grief, desire, and sacrifice—without ever feeling heavy-handed. Every moment between Hendrix and Maverick pulses with tension, tenderness, and authenticity. It's not just a romance—it's a love story that feels earned.
I listened to the audiobook, and let me tell you: Jakobi Diem and Wesleigh Siobhan elevate this experience to another level. Their narration is pitch-perfect—nuanced, emotive, and completely immersive. Jakobi brings Maverick's charisma and quiet intensity to life, while Wesleigh captures Hendrix’s strength and vulnerability with stunning grace. Their chemistry is palpable, and it made the story come alive in my ears.
Can’t Get Enough is a reminder that love can be powerful without being perfect, and that sometimes, the best things in life come when we stop running and start reaching. Whether you're a longtime romance fan or a skeptic like I was, do yourself a favor: let Kennedy Ryan break through your expectations. She’ll not only meet them—she’ll blow them away.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Finished another book by Ms. Kennedy Ryan her self. This was the thirst book in the skyland series and it did not disappoint. Can’t Get Enough follows Hendrix Barry, a successful, child free by choice entrepreneur, grappling with the complexities of caring for her mother with Alzheimer's and a navigating undeniable chemistry with Tech Mogul Maverick Bell.
I’m if there is a harlequin audio book I will listen to it and if Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem ate narrating I will be ratting it up. My one complaint is I wish we would use the narrators voices when delivery dialogue between one another.

Thank you to @hachetteaudio and @netgalley for an ALC copy.
Kennedy Ryan just has a way of telling a story. Hendrix Barry - we knew from the first book that she was a force to be reckoned with and it would take a special man for her to even consider allowing him into her world.
I devoured this gem and fell even deeper in love with a series that just keeps delivering heat, heart, and heroines who feel like your best friends and biggest inspirations rolled into one. Hendrix is bold, brilliant, and beautifully complex.
And along comes Maverick Bell, bringing the slow burn and forbidden tension. The way this man sees her will make you swoon! Their chemistry crackles off the page, but what hooked me was the emotional depth. This isn’t just a romance. It’s a story about choice, sacrifice, and the courage to believe you can have more.
Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem brought Hen and Mav to life so well, I felt like I knew them. The emotions they displayed were so real and raw!
Kennedy Ryan never fails to deliver powerful women and the men who make them feel special. (And effortlessly slips in the word bootyhole a time or two 🤭). This entire series was amazing and I highly recommend.

I couldn’t get enough of this book! I have loved the Skyland books! The characters, the storyline, the character development all kept me engaged in the book from start to finish.

Hendrix Barry has it all—an enviable career, strong friendships, and a life many only dream of—yet she’s juggling the emotional weight of caring for her unwell mother. Romance has never been a priority, especially with no one able to match her pace—until she meets tech mogul Maverick Bell, whose charm and connection with her are undeniable. As Maverick pursues her with unwavering intent, Hendrix must decide whether to stick to her carefully laid plans or risk everything for a love that feels like destiny.
Firstly I absolutely LOVED the narrators of this audiobook, they were an absolute delight to listen to and I felt that they did a good job of doing voices for the opposite sex.
Unfortunately the actual story itself fell a little flat for me, I liked both main characters and just wish I got more of a feel for them on a deeper level. I felt that there was so much more about them that could have been explored but was not. I still had fun overall whilst listening but compared to Kennedy Ryan’s other books it felt more superficial to me.

This was my first Kennedy Ryan read and WOW! What a way to be introduced to an author! This book was phenomenal. I was able to listen to the audio and I felt like Hendrix was a real friend letting me know everything happening in her life. When a joke was made, I felt like I was right there laughing with her and her girls. When grief struck, I felt like I wanted to reach through and give Hen a hug. Wesleigh and Jakobi both did a phenomenal job bringing these characters to life. So much so that I now have to go and start this series from the beginning!
I love the love between these two MCs. They knew what they needed and never tried to change each other for it. You know a love is strong when someone is hit with a hard situation and the other person is there to help you through it all, rather than taking the easy way out and leaving.

This was a great story, the right amount of spice and had excellent narration. I really enjoyed this story that had lots of depth in characters and plot. The dual narration was perfect and the voices were exactly what I would have pictured for this novel! The audiobook was 15 hours 15 mins so it will give you lots of time to savor all of the layers that make this plot thick!
4.5 stars rounded up to 5
Thank you Net Galley, Kennedy Ryan and Hachette Audio for the opportunity to preview this title. The opinions shared are my own.
Can't Get Enough is now available and should be added to your summer TBR!

I did not expect this book to hit me the way it did. Can't Get Enough is the third book in the Skyland series and I haven’t read the first two, but I didn’t feel lost for even a second.
I listened to the audiobook narrated by Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem and they were absolute perfection as Hendrix and Maverick. Their voices matched the characters so well, I honestly felt like I was listening to real people. The way they narrated this story pulled me in so deeply that I didn’t want to pause for anything.
What I love most about this book is that it’s not just a romance — though the romance is so good (hello, steamy scenes and sweet giggles). It’s layered. You get strong family ties, grief, the heartbreak of watching a loved one battle Alzheimer’s, unshakable friendships, and what it truly means to love someone selflessly.
Maverick, oh my god. If only more men were like him — constantly choosing Hendrix, putting her first, showing up in every way that matters. Their relationship is swoon-worthy, real, and honestly made my heart do backflips. I giggled way too much over their chemistry.
And the way Kennedy Ryan described Hendrix’s mother’s Alzheimer’s journey was absolutely beautiful and so accurate — it had me in tears more than once. I wasn’t expecting this book to make me feel so many things, but here I am, laughing one minute and ugly crying the next.
Also, major love for the sisterhood between Hendrix, Soledad, and Yasmen. Their bond added even more warmth to an already heartfelt story.
In short: I went in expecting a good romance and came out with a full-on emotional experience, I really can’t get enough (pun intended).
Many thanks to NetGalley and Hachette Audio for the audiobook in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you NetGalley and Hachette Audio for the ALC of this book.
The audio was perfection! These narrators are always SO good.
It's my favorite Kennedy Ryan book so far. I knew that Hendrix's story was going to be my favorite. She's all strength and power and child free and I love that we also see the softness required to take her of her mother thats been diagnosed with Alzheimers.
Then she meets Maverick. Completely off limits, having just broken up with her business partner.
But he can't deny the attraction and the pull between them, and eventually neither can she.
There were so many tearful moments for me in this book. I think you have been touched by Alzheimers in any way there will be moments that really touch you. I think if you've ever craved a partner in life that steps up in so many ways and you can truly trust them, you'll be touched by that in this book as well.
I absolutely loved it.

As someone totally new to the billionaire romance trope, I went into Can't Get Enough not knowing what to expect—and came out completely converted. 💸❤️ Kennedy Ryan has opened my eyes to just how powerful, layered, and emotionally resonant this kind of love story can be.
Hendrix, the main character, absolutely stole my heart. She’s a successful, independent woman who knows what she wants—and just as importantly, what she doesn’t want, like having children. That kind of child-free representation is incredibly refreshing and much-needed in the romance genre. 🙌 Representation matters, and Hendrix felt real, grounded, and strong in a way that deeply resonated with me.
Her connection with Maverick Bell, a billionaire carrying emotional weight from his past, is instant but also nuanced. 💥💔 Their chemistry sizzles from the beginning, but what makes this relationship stand out is how deeply it delves into real-life issues—like Hendrix’s mother’s battle with Alzheimer’s. As someone who’s experienced long-term illness in a loved one, I was gutted by the opening scene. It’s raw, vivid, and heartbreakingly accurate in depicting the grief and confusion of watching someone you love slip away. 😢
Yet, despite the emotional weight, Ryan masterfully balances the heavy moments with warmth, romance, and personal growth. 💕 Hendrix’s reluctance to fall in love felt authentic and earned, and her journey—both independently and with Maverick—was beautifully crafted.
The audiobook format took this experience to another level. 🎧 The dual narration was top-tier, especially Jakobi Diem, who gave Maverick a voice that was smooth, vulnerable, and incredibly compelling. 😍 Both narrators brought the characters to life and made the emotional depth of the story hit even harder.
In short, Can't Get Enough was way more emotional than I expected—in the best possible way. 😭💖 It wrecked me, moved me, and made me a Kennedy Ryan fan for life. 💫
Thank you to Netgalley for the advanced audiobook copy of this story!
