I really loved this book club kit! Hosting a book club can be stressful & this kit is really informative in how to encourage deep discussions of the book. It really helped in finding additional meaning within the book that just made it easier for me to connect to it even more.

This Book Club Kits contains a range of different activities to enhance a book club meeting about Tell Them You Lied by Laura Leffler. I really liked the more interactive activities included in this kit especially the crossword, recipes and other activities suggestions. I have reviewed quite a few of these kits and have never seen a crossword included in one and I hope in the future these kits continue to include themed puzzles. Additionally I liked the design, colour scheme and organisation of the kit and thought it complimented the book cover well and was very easy to read.

Without having read the book, I found the author interview to be slightly too technical and focused on the intricacies of writing rather than the story however for someone who has read the book I'm sure this interview would be more interesting.

Overall I thought this was a solid book club kit and I could be tempted to pick up Tell Them You Lied.

I enjoyed this book and finished it in just 2 days. The ending was perfect and so was the writing. It was interesting and kept me entertained. I highly recommend this book!

When reading something for a book club, there’s so many different takes and perceptions people can have of the characters, or of what’s happened. This Book Club Kit was a great tie in for us when reading and discussing Tell Them You Lied. Some of the discussion points were ones that all of us had wanted to touch on, then there were a few that opened up a deeper debate. The fact that this was created especially from the author to tie in to discussions really showed in how we were able to touch on things in the story one might not normally recall or think to bring up.

Such a handy resource for a book club! I really enjoyed the questions, they really make you think. And the activities were also really fun! Thank you!

After reading the book, I loved this companion! It was super fun to ask myself the questions and I loved the interview with the author. The whole experience of reading this book has made me more interested in the art world, and can't wait to see what's next from this author.

It doesn't just dump a few vague questions and call it a day-it delivers thoughtful discussion prompts, a well-paced author interview, and themed snacks and drinks (because trauma tastes better with cocktails, right?). The color-changing martini? lconic. Bonus points for the content warnings, which more clubs need to normalize. While some extras like the bookmarks felt a bit underwhelming (if you're gonna design them, go all in), the included games and crossword added a creative spin. Would use this in a club? Absolutely. It makes a mid-tier thriller linger a bit longer in the brain.
