This is a fun way to advertise upcoming books. I enjoyed the snippet of each book so I could get a feel for the writing and content to garner my interest. I wish there had been more categories but overall a good tool for new releases.

Buzz Books 2025: Fall/Winter is such a fun way to check out what’s coming up in the book world. It’s like getting a sneak peek at a bunch of exciting new reads all in one place. There’s a great mix of genres and voices, and it definitely got me adding a bunch of titles to my TBR. If you love discovering books before they hit the shelves, this is a super enjoyable way to do it!

This book gives a great overview of books to look forward to for the second half of the year, and gives a brief sample so people can see if this is a book they would be interested in. It introduces readers to books they may not have heard of before, and shines a light on debut authors. I always get excited for these previews!

Interesting list of fall and winter books. Would have preferred more YA picks and a more comprehensive list overall.

I always enjoy and appreciate these Buzz Books write ups! I take note of so many great upcoming reads and this time was no different. I hope Publishers Lunch continues to assemble and provide these to readers. My only suggestion would be to further segment the books by genre, further than just fiction - non-fiction - debut - YA. Even if it meant replacing the publisher in the parentheses of the title with the genre, that way I'm not missing out on any new books from my favorite genres.

Very useful as usual, having the samples and being able to read them is so helpful when deciding what to add to my TBR.

This is my second Buzz Books, and I love reading through it! Always great to see titles I wouldn't have found on my own.

After scrolling through these 37 stories and reading some of the first chapters, I added quite a few to my TBR. I can’t wait to read more!

I love getting a taste of a book's writing style! I wish you could read a little snippet of all NetGalley titles before requesting them.

That said, this sampler is very heavy on more literary leaning titles with pretty heavy and serious subject matters. Women were not having a good time in most these excerpts! I'd prefer it if there was a bit more genre fiction and also a few more lighthearted titles included.
