This book was so informative and so fun!

As a bookseller, I love being updated on the latest releases, and this is one of the best ways I've ever encountered of doing that. I was so excited to see some of my favorite authors and creators future books, and I actually had a little happy dance for some of them. Some titles really surprised me, and I can't wait to see them!

I particularly enjoyed reading about books by new authors. With so many books being published, it's really difficult for new voices to be heard. This book will allow me to be more knowledgeable about those new authors and their books. It would also help with placing requests to order those books in our bookstore, or to recommend them to my clients as soon as they are published.

I already had a really positive experience with this book. I sent a pre-order link of Mason Coile - Exiles to one of my friends whose partner was in a reading slump. They ended up buying the author's previous book, and enjoying it. They are now waiting for the new book to be released in September. It's the author's second book, and, unfortunately, I hadn't heard about them before Buzz Books. This kind of thing is what I love about bookselling: the opportunity to help people find new books and find their unique path in reading.

Thank you Netgalley and to Publishers Lunch for the ARC of this book!

Thanks to NetGalley and Publishers Lunch for the advance reader copy of this book.

I was so excited to receive this book! This is my first Buzz Books title and as a librarian and obsessive reader I loved it. Not only does it list of all the books that are coming out in the fall and winter of 2025, but it also gives you a sneak peek with samples of many upcoming fiction books, debut novels, nonfiction books, and young adult novels.

This is a great way to find new books to put on your TBR list, like Olivie Blake's new book, Girl Dinner, as well as Burn Down Masters House (Clay Cane), If the Dead Belong (Carson Faust), The Book of Autumn (Molly O'Sullivan), Marrow (Samantha Browning Shea), Exiles (Mason Cole), and The Book of Guilt (Catherine Chidgey)

Three screams up for new fiction books by John Irving (Queen Esther, 11/4/25), Lily King (Heart the Lover, 10/7), Dan Brown (The Secret of Secrets, 9/9/25), Kirsten Miller (The Women of Wild Hill, 10/7/25), and Catherine Newman (Wreck, 10/28/25). Big name authors Mitch Albom, Rebecca Yarros, David Baldacci, Michael Connelly, Ken Follett, John Grisham, Gilly Macmillan, Louise Penny, and James Patterson (4 collaborations!!) have books coming out too.

I'm particularly excited for the memoirs by Elizabeth Gilbert and Joy Harjo as well as nonfiction books about writing by Sue Monk Kidd and Elizabeth McCracken.

Other interesting upcoming non-fiction titles include:

* A Fine Line Between Stupid and Clever: The Story of Spinal Tap (Rob Reiner with Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer, 9/16/25)
* Does Anyone Else Feel This Way?: Essays on Conquering the Quarter-Life Crisis (Eli Rallo, 10/14/25)
* Conversations on Faith (Martin Scorsese/Antonio Spadaro, 11/4/25)
* The Waterbearers: My Mother, My Grandmother, and the Women Who Carried Me (Sasha Bonet, 9/16/25)
* Fawning: Why the Need to Please Makes Us Lose Ourselves - and How to Find Our Way Back (9/9/25)

Whatever your favorite genre you will find something to like in Buzz Books 2025: Fall/Winter.

This was such a great way to introduce myself to some upcoming releases that I hadn’t heard about! Included were a pretty wide variety of genres, so there’s something for everybody, and I love that this encouraged me to try out some books outside of my typical genres.

I do wish there were more excerpts from some of the other books listed (even shorter excerpts) but otherwise, I have no complaints.

I always Love Buzz Books. This Time Buzz Books had a Zoom Conference I listened to featuring 4 Non-Fiction Books. 1. The Last Extinction by Gerta Gellar, 2. Black Owned by Char Adams 3. Family of Strangers by Christine Kuehn and 4. Heart of a Stranger by Rabbi Angela Buchdahl. All were interesting to listen to and offered a variety of books. I put in for Black Owned which is about the history of Black Bookstores, 2. Family of a Stranger which involves a Woman where finds her family was involved with the Nazis. Sounded extremely interesting. Got Approved for this One and last Heart of a Stranger by Rabbi Angela Buchdahl about the First Asian American Woman to be ordained a Rabbi I was also approved. So, looking forward to those. Always love to view the Debut Authors and see which new and talented authors are up and coming.

Thank you NetGalley and Publishers Lunch for a Copy of this. I always leave Reviews of Books I Read.
