I love this author although this is the first Tin Rock Stars book I've read! I enjoyed the storyline of a recovering drug addict and his foster care raised drum tech. The angst between them and the slow turn to love took up almost half of the book, but it was necessary and so well written. It did end in a HEA but not without ups and downs. Looking forward to Gillian's next book!

I wasn't sure how Encore was going to play out. We've seen drummer Noah battling some demons in previous books when drugs really took over. He seems to be back on the straight and narrow now, but is letting his drum tech Alice take all of the heat and anger that he's got. Fortunately, she's more than capable of dealing with him and perhaps that anger is hiding something different...
I loved Noah and Alice together. She's strong and capable. She can match him at every turn and is exactly what he needs. Fortunately, he's also exactly what she needs. He might be the rock star, but he has a vulnerable side and can't help but think that he's not good enough for her. Over time, she realises that he really needs to know what he means to her and I loved watching them become a 'real' couple.
This was a great final book to this enjoyable series. I'm just a bit sad that the Tin Gods series has come to an end.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own and given voluntarily.

Opposites to friendemy to HEA!
Noah and Alice might be two of the most headstrong and endearing couple in the Tin Gods Rock series. The slow burn that was often so frustrating because I know Gillian Archer will have me loving these two in the end. I have become a huge fan of this author. The author writes with so much intensity and emotion pulled from each book it’s felt page after page. Some are quick witted story lines are so perfect and lets you believe you have a front row seat. So being able to read this love story didn’t disappoint. The authors ability to have two separate individuals struggling in their everyday life and try to navigate someone else’s thoughts, needs and desires was intense and gives all the fills.
Authors blurb: What happens during a Vegas residency doesn't stay in Vegas. Not when you hate your rock star boss.
I don’t know what crawled up my drum tech’s ass, but I’m over Alice’s bullsh*t. I’m too busy juggling my not-so-anonymous NA meetings, our new Vegas residency, and my dad’s Alzheimer’s demands to tiptoe around Ms. Alice. She works for me.
So next time she sets up my drumkit, I don’t want to hear her snarky comments or muttered insults. Her shapely little body doesn’t make up for her smart mouth. No matter how curvy it is.
Or how pouty her full lips are. Dammit. Just because I’m her boss and we hate each other doesn’t mean we have to play by the rules. After all, what happens in Vegas…
This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in single POV this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.
Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕

Super cute enemies to lovers with plenty of angst, steam, and laughs. The story was great with a perfect HEA.

Noah and Alice epitomize the enemies to friends to lovers relationship superbly , creating the perfect send off For the author’s Tin Gods rocker romance series. I received an advanced reader copy of this book for free from NetGalley and I am leaving this review voluntarily. All thoughts are my own.
Noah was living up the rockstar life until he crashed rock bottom. The author beautifully shows the struggles of fame and addiction. At first I thought it would be impossible for me to like Noah as his attitude, toward Alice in particular, was definitely off putting, but seeing him struggle to find his footing soon had me crying for him, while silently cheering him on.
Alice has also been burned by her past and the actions of other, but her slow to trust nature made her more relatable. The fact that these two slowly built their relationship made the story more realistic, especially given Noah’s early on moodiness, and had me applauding the nuances the author created to make strong foundation for these two. Don’t worry the steaminess that was rampant through the series is still present, but the steamy scenes started more towards the second half of the book (although the attraction is apparent early on).
I also love that the found family aspect that occurs throughout the book, with each other and their friends, is strong. Those familiar with the series will be happy to see many a familiar faces, but you can enjoy this book on its own ( although I do recommend the whole series). There is also a surprise suspense element that shocked me right up to the grand reveal.
This was a great sendoff for the series. 5 stars

5 stars.

Drummers, bands, Vegas, music, friends to enemies to friends to lovers....
There are not enough words in my brain right now to properly gush about this book, but I'll do my best, bear with me, this book left my hungover and frazzled!
I just feel like this book really hit it out of the park! It's full of steam, sexual tension and open door scenes. I didn't know what to expect from this and went in with not much knowledge of the story and it delivered, beyond delivered.
The MMC is a recovering addict trying to find himself again one year into his sobriety journey and the FMC is a badass, takes no flack, witty drummer who also loved deeply. She had been wronged by people she loved before abd so she's also on a journey to finding her place. It honestly such a good read and satisfying HEA. Can be read as a standalone despite it actually being book 4 in a series.

I'm happy that Noah got his own story to clean up his image. He did it fantastically. Alice really made him work for it though. Rock Gods are not used to that, so it made me giggle. I have enjoyed reading this series.

This is the perfect way to wrap up the series. Noah has made so many changes and he’s trying to figure out where to go from here. He’s been abhorrent to the one person who should never have been blamed for his mistakes, and he’s seeing that he really did make huge mistakes in that arena. But can he truly apologize and make up for them?
Alice has been a bit of a mystery. We knew her before. I wondered what her story was. And wow, it’s a bit painful. She’s used to being taken advantage of and discarded and it’s made her isolated her heart to keep from being hurt again. But Noah manages to get past her walls and is working hard on proving that he’s so much more than he’s been in the last year or so to her.
These two have a great story to share. A little angsty. A little bittersweet. A lot hopeful. And the way that they make it all work? Well, that’s just proof that their magic was meant to work together.
