This is my first read from this author. Olsen is well known for crime writing so I was looking forward to this.

My first thought was how much I hated the main character. She came across as being very small minded and didn't really seem to have any strong relationship to any other character. When you struggle to get to know the main character it makes it hard to invest yourself into the rest of the story.

The main bulk of the story I did enjoy, it flowed well and I did enjoy the plot. The ending however did fall flat.

I will read his other books but not this series unfortunately.
