Thank you Netgalley and to Greenleaf Book Group Press for providing me with this amazing ARC, in exchange for my honest review.
I play/watch/love tennis and I enjoyed this book so much. I felt like everything was so realistic, the feud between pickleball and tennis, the HOA meeting, the HOA ladies. Living in FL I feel like this book was written about our daily life. Sebastian was so sweet and dreamy, the way he treated her. I was giggling and smiling throughout the book. I was worried for a bit for Endy when the ex resurfaced but alls well that ends well.
Overall a cute light read and I am excited for the second book. I wonder... will it be able Sloane? or Maria? Regardless, will be looking forward to it!

thank you to NetGalley and to the publisher for providing this e-arc! All thoughts and opinions are my own 🩷
This one was just a fun, silly, cheesy little romance about Endy who is trying to save the pickleball program at the country club she works at.
Some of the povs were a bit confusing because it was all in 3rd person and I couldn’t really tell who we were following at times. I also would have made it a little longer because I thought that a lot of things were happening so fast after something else.
Also, due to the length, the romance was definitely rushed and why did we have to add his ex as the conflict for whole 2nd half of the book?
Overall, I thought that it was ok but I would definitely change some things.

I was going to give it 3 stars but then the second half was getting worse and worse, hence I’m sorry but this deserves only 2 stars from me.
It was 200 pages so rather short but took me a million hours to finish (felt like it).
The writing was a bit childish. Not immature but like written for a kids audience. A bit like written by 15 year old and targeted do 8-10 year olds.
The execution was a bit weird at some parts.
Endy was left by her fiancée for his ex-girlfriend, but then she’s pretty chill when Sebastian’s ex-fiancé shows up. Endy and Sebastian’s dynamics are weird. The writing didn’t make me feel much, or I should say it didn’t make me feel anything. I wasn’t connected to the characters, I didn’t feel the connection between them.
There were way too many side characters and I was a bit lost with all of them.
The vibes this story and writing gave me were just weird. I haven’t read anything like that like… ever.
There was a lot of talk about pickleball and all the pickleball details. I guess if you’re very into pickleball, you may like this aspect of this book, but the childish writing style, weird plot execution and a thousand and ten side characters are still there, so.

Thank you to Netgalley and Greenleaf Book Group Press for the free arc in exchange for a honest review.
This silly, cheesy, romcom has me ready to find a pickleball league near me! I had such a fun time learning about the sport and how it can be played by people of all ages. The dynamic of the pickleball girl and tennis boy was so fun to follow and see how stereotypical differences affected them. The elderly characters had me giggling and cringing at the same time. It was an all around enjoyable palate cleanser, that lacked a bit of plot and intrigue.

lots of cute and smiley faces to fall into within these pages. ive seen this game featured a lot in books *recently and this is one had a touch more brightness to it which i enjoyed. its deinftely giving me summer on the beach vibes or reading round the pool.
this book gives us Endy who is trying to save more than pickle-ball, shes trying to save her community that goes with it.
this book is a perfect summer read( and i say this with a desperate need for it as i look out the window to the pouring British rain) and you feel the warmth and sun beams from the pages. Sebastian and Endy make me want to both play tennis and pickle-ball.
i loved how Endy was cherished by everyone at the club, everyone but the right guy of course. that is until she comes across the very enthusiastic for tennis Sebastian and there chemistry is back and forth like the wonderful game they each play. but of course love doesn't run smoothly and that comes in the form of Sebastian's ex.
but Endy is a fighter and she will fight for both love and her club. Sebastian thought the love of his life was his game and after his career ending injury he thought that was it. turns out that his one true love could be right here in front of him in a person, in Endy.
there is lots of emotional growth for both our pair in this book and im so glad i got to be part of it.

A great read! Endy is pickleball girl and Seb is a tennis player. She has been hurt before by someone going back to there ex, so when Seb's ex fiance appears back on the scene. Is it history repeating? I liked the different point of view and can't wait to read the rest of the series!

DNF@18% — i just felt like it was a bit over the top with the rivalry drama between tennis and pickleball. like i don't think people would actually care about it, cuz unfortunately i didn't...
another thing is even though there were a few pages in the beginning explaining how pickleball works, i still got super confused throughout the book. generally i read quite a lot of sports romances without doing/watching the sports irl, and i could always follow through with the book but not this one.
i also didn't really like any of the characters that were mentioned, not even the side characters... so it was kinda difficult for me to get invested in the story.
⤷ thank you to netgalley, the publisher and the author for providing me an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Arc review
Rating 4🌟
Release date: 17th June 2025
I was so happy to be accepted to read this book before it came out
This is more based on the game and friendships. I found it sweet that Endy had great relationships with the elderly and the children. Learning about pickleball was interesting as I've never heard about it before. I just wish that we had more to read about Sebastian and Endys' relationship

Thank you to Rebecca Jasmine and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this ARC and give my honest review!
This was a cute light read that would be perfect for someone who is really into pickleball. Unfortunately, I did not have a lot of prior knowledge about pickleball and found it to be more sports-focused than romance-focused.

Endy Andrews is beloved by everyone—from the senior pickleballers she coaches to the kids in her Picklers Youth Pickleball program. But her warm charm hasn’t worked on the right guy—until she meets Sebastian Hall at Whisper Hills Country Club. Although Sebastian is a former college tennis standout and Endy is the resident pickleball girl, it seems like a match made in heaven. Just as things heat up, however, his stunning ex, Sloane, reappears, determined to win him back.
Meanwhile, Endy faces challenges on all fronts. Tennis purists at the club push to dismantle the pickleball program, and Picklers is on the brink of collapse due to lack of funding. As Endy fights to save her community, Sebastian fights to prove his love for her. Because for the first time since his career-ending knee injury, Sebastian knows for certain what he wants in life. It’s the pickleball girl.
Loved, loved, loved this story. It has the right amount of drama and tension between the main characters. Will recommend to others.

ARC REVIEW - The Pickleball Girl Finds Her Match by Rebecca Jasmine
Pub date: June 17, 2025
My rating: 2.5/5. Rounded up to 3⭐️
The Pickleball Girl Finds Her Match is a cute, flirty, and playful sports romance, and it is book 1 in the Whisper Hills Country Club series.
I wish I could say I liked this one, however, this book was more focused on pickleball and friendships, than building the relationship between Endy and Sebastian. Especially since it didn’t really show their relationship playing out, more like the author told us about it, so the romance aspect fell a bit flat for me. I wanted to see more of their sweet intimate moments that show their chemistry and attraction for each other leading into their relationship. It also more of an instant attraction/insta-lovey romance, which despite Endy saying she didn’t want to repeat her past mistake of falling too fast for someone, she fell quite fast for Sebastian.
There was great and loyal friendships in this, and Endy’s relationships with the seniors that play pickleball was funny and sweet but in a romance book, I look for it to be more centred on the romantic relationship than the sport or friendships. But learning about pickleball was interesting, the pickleball sport guide the author included helped a lot when reading since I went into this knowing nothing about the sport. Overall, it was a lighthearted and fast paced romance with a touch of drama that I think would be a good read for summertime.
Tropes/What to expect:
-she runs a pickleball club x he’s a retired pro tennis player
-instant attraction
-owd
-closed door
-third person pov
-she teaches seniors how to play pickleball
-saving the pickleball & picklers youth club
Thank you Rebecca Jasmine, NetGalley and Greenleaf Book Group Press for the arc.

any book that can make me squeal to my partner at the cuteness whilst also making me sob and want to learn a new sport is immediately a winner to me. this book is one i just know I will be rereading for years to come, it was so good! the second i realised this is just book 1, my heart truly began to sing
endy and sebastian are a beautiful couple and their complexities and emotions make them so relatable, whilst also making me so jealous of the love they share.
rebecca is a wonderful author and i now cannot wait to read more of her work...getting to arc read this was so special and i beg everyone to go and get this when it comes out!

I really enjoyed reading this. It’s a sweet romance of an independent woman and a former small famous tennis player. I never really read sport romances, but this one was pretty interesting and fun to read.

I'm so sad, I really wanted to like this book, unfortunately it's boring, predictable and poorly written.
It's hard to get a real sense of who the characters are, aside from attractive. Which isn't really a personality trait. The main characters are just archetypes and aren't fleshed out, same for the side characters, they read like casting call descriptions.
Endy is supposed to be 8 years out of college, but she still somehow has the voice of a teenage/early twenties.
She also has a lot of insecurities and low self esteem and of course it's up to someone else to help fix that. Gross. Pretty much all the flirting is weird and awkward. It's all very melodramatic, and not in an ironic in purpose way.
This book isn't offensive, just not fun to read.

this title had me hooked and wanting to read it. I enjoyed this book and had a good time reading it. I will read it again. I will find more books from this author.

The book is great. I feel that in certain parts, it could've have gone into more depth and was rushed; the entrance of Sloane's character wasn't my favourite. But overall, it is a good book

this darling little novel is a vacation for your brain. It follows Endy and her mission to keep pickleball alive at her club. It is light, hopeful, and cute. The perfect makings of a romance novel. I unfortunately didn't adore it as much as I wish I could've. I think the characters fell a little flat. It felt like emotional depth was just out of reach for all of the characters. There were several key moments that could've used a more grand reveal or had more tension. The writing and novel hold promise for what comes next for Rebecca Jasmine.

The Pickleball Girl Finds Her Match by Rebecca Jasmine is a sweet, sporty romance that’s bound to make you smile—and maybe even consider picking up a paddle and trying your hand at pickleball! The story centers on Endy Andrews, a warm and engaging pickleball coach who’s beloved by everyone—except the right guy, until she meets Sebastian Hall at Whisper Hills Country Club. Despite their different athletic backgrounds—Endy being a pickleball enthusiast and Sebastian a former tennis prodigy—their chemistry is instant, and it looks like they could be a perfect match.
But of course, things aren’t that simple. As their relationship begins to heat up, Sebastian’s ex, the stunning Sloane, returns to complicate matters, determined to win him back. This classic love triangle sets the stage for some emotional moments, but it’s Endy’s resilience that really takes the spotlight. She’s not only fighting for love but also for the future of the pickleball program she’s worked so hard to build, which is under threat from tennis purists at the club who want to dismantle it. And to top it all off, Endy’s Picklers Youth Pickleball program is on the brink of collapse due to funding issues.
What makes this story shine is how Endy’s determination to save her passion for pickleball mirrors the growing romance between her and Sebastian. Sebastian’s own journey, after a career-ending knee injury, is about finding a new purpose—and he discovers that what he wants most in life is Endy. There’s a beautiful emotional arc here as both characters fight for what they love, whether it's pickleball, a future together, or their own personal growth.
Endy’s character is easy to root for—she’s passionate, caring, and determined to make a difference in her community. The way the book weaves together her love for the sport and her budding relationship with Sebastian is heartwarming. Sebastian, for his part, is supportive and sincere, making him the perfect match for Endy—once he finally realizes it.
The romantic tension between them builds slowly but steadily, and the dynamic with the love triangle adds just the right amount of drama without overwhelming the sweetness of the story. Plus, the background of the pickleball world adds a unique flavor to the romance—it's fun to learn about the sport while following their journey.
Overall, The Pickleball Girl Finds Her Match is a light, feel-good read perfect for anyone who loves a bit of romance mixed with sports, community, and a dash of fun. It’s a book about second chances, finding your match—both on and off the court—and the power of passion, whether for a person or a sport.

💭 Overall thoughts: I generally enjoyed this book. It’s a light, easy read with a smooth flow perfect for when you want something quick and uncomplicated.
📉 What didn’t quite work for me: I felt like the relationship between the main couple lacked depth. Everything happened a bit too fast, and I really wanted to understand why they fell for each other beyond just physical attraction. I didn’t feel emotionally connected to their story.
I also wish we had seen more of Endy’s best friend she seemed like a promising character but ended up in the background. And honestly, a lot of the drama could’ve been resolved with a simple conversation. Instead, we spend 50% of the book stuck in that frustrating "will-they-won’t-they" dynamic.
💔 Something that bugged me: The main character says she doesn’t want to repeat her past mistake of falling too fast (like she did with her ex), but shortly after, she’s already head over heels for Sebastian. It felt a bit inconsistent.
💕 Who I’d recommend it to: If you enjoy sweet, light romances with a touch of drama, this might be a good pick for you! But if you're looking for deeper emotional development and character growth, this might fall a little short.

The dialogue could have been expanded between both Sebastian and Endy. I just felt like as the reader you heard more about their romance versus actually seeing it play out in the plot. Definitely could see someone reading this on the beach for a nice easy romance read. I personally would see this as a palette cleanser book.
