I loved this phenomenal fantasy right from the start! It’s about a witch who is a bit of a hermit and lives in isolation. Talk about world building, amazing characters and plot twists! Holy cow, this book has everything fantasy readers love! It is filled with so many twists and turns. An exhilarating book that I absolutely loved! I can not wait for the second book of this gripping series that I absolutely loved and totally obsessed with! A definite must read!
Thank you to the publisher netgalley, and the author Savannah Stephens for this advanced readers copy. I voluntarily agreed to do a fair and honest book review. All word, thoughts and ideas are my own,

I loved Witch Queen Rising so incredibly much. I adore that our main character Phine has been through so much that she's wary of other people's intentions, but not completely jaded. I loved that the plot is so enticing that it makes me hungry for a sequel without relying on leaving the reader feel unsatisfied. That's a hard line to straddle and Savannah Stephens managed it perfectly.

This was a very unique story filled with magic and world building that will no doubt entertain its audience. I enjoyed the MC and felt her story to be compelling, I just struggled with the writing style. I think it made the book feel slow and made me not itch to pick it up at times. Overall, I do think this is a very good debut novel and lots of people will have a good time reading it.

I really enjoyed the theme and setting of this novel, especially the unique female lead with her mysterious, imperfect past. She added depth and intrigue to the story. However, the pacing was slower than I prefer, and as the chapters went on, it started to feel more like a chore than a pleasure to pick up. A compelling concept, but not as engaging in execution as I had hoped.

This was such an incredibly book, with plenty of twists and turns that kept me reading. I would fight all of New Orleans for Phine.

This book is an absolute treasure that completely stole my heart. The writing is lush and atmospheric. Also, I love how much this story embraces the darker, haunting side of magic without losing heart. The ending left me breathless and craving more of this rich world and its fiercely captivating characters. It’s the kind of fantasy that feels personal, emotional, and utterly unforgettable. I absolutely loved it.

I was utterly hooked from the first chapter and felt for Phin and all the adventures/ challenges she faced from the first couple of pages.
The world building, character development, the main characters, the side characters, and the vivid images that Ms. Stephens created. If you are looking for an interesting read that doesn't feel like every book out currently, I would say to pick this one up for a remarkable fall read.

Witch Queen Rising by Savannah Stephens, a well written book that left me wanting more. I will be on the lookout for the sequel as this story was great.
