4.5 stars. I'm so glad this is a new series! The Gravedigger's Almanac reminds me of Potzsch's other series, The Hangman's Daughter. Full of quirky characters and the mystery is deep.
Taking place in 1893 Vienna, this is a gripping and atmospheric tale that masterfully blends historical intrigue with gothic suspense. Pötzsch's vivid storytelling and richly drawn characters pull readers into a dark yet fascinating world. With its brisk pacing and immersive setting, the novel delivers a compelling read that fans of historical thrillers will thoroughly enjoy.
