Though still apart of the New 52, Batgirl returns in this light reboot with new authors and artists. This youthful, hipster version of Barbara Gordon will appeal to the YA crowd and I adore the artwork by Cameron Stewart & Babs Tarr!

ARC from Netgalley.
WHAT??? Where did...? Who is this?
Barbara Gordon has suddenly regressed! From a beautiful, complicated, emotional, tragic hero with a rich history, spanning (first appeared in 1967) the drama and pain of "The Killing Joke", all the way to her return in the New52 as Batgirl... to.... a spoiled, bratty, petty, drunk, 20 year old annoyance. Look at the more recent "Knightfall", "Death of the Family", or "Wanted", and you will see the real Batgirl. This character? Selfies, clubbing, and boy trouble?
This title may be selling like crazy and very popular with the younger generations (my girls love it now), but I think I have to write off Batgirl as lost to me. I guess I'm getting old. LOL
