I needed a quick spicy palate cleanse and this book definitely served it up! Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

Anna is on her own for 2 weeks in an isolated winter retreat after her family bails on a planned vacation. Grant is just looking for some downtime at his mother’s home, not realizing she’s left town and rented it out. These two have a brief mixed-signals past. Anna might be mad, but she gets over it really fast.

This is erotica, so expect the doors to be wide open with multiple spicy scenes. What you might not expect is how well-written those scenes are as they describe the physical and emotional and the drop into sub space. The author’s attention to consent and safety is so appreciated. This isn’t just smut for smut’s sake.

Especially loved the side characters! Fingers crossed Lola is getting her own (hopefully from Michael and Simon, because yes. Yes!)

A quick and dirty read about a sub dipping her toe into the bdsm world and just happening upon the Dom who stood her up. Her family were turds though and she definitely deserved better from them so Grant was the perfect person for her

I love a book that has a Michigan mention! This was great and a awesome read. I was glued from the beginning to the end.

It's always a great day when an email from Hannah Murray lands in my inbox with news that she's publishing THREE NEW BDSM BOOKS this summer. It's an even better day when there's an ARC of book 1.

Snow Bound was a delight! Quick & smutty but at the same time tender. I'm a sucker for a good aftercare scene, especially when the dom character does the whole "It's an honor" thing.

I loved Snow Bound and am crossing my fingers that Lola gets her book next!

This book had me hooked from page one. With witty banter, blazing chemistry, and a Dom/sub dynamic that feels both authentic and emotionally grounded, Snow Bound is a high-heat winter romance that doesn’t waste time getting to the good stuff—and keeps it coming.

The setup is simple but effective: two people unexpectedly find themselves sharing a remote cabin during a snowstorm. There’s a shared past, plenty of unresolved tension, and absolutely no question about their mutual attraction. What follows is a delicious blend of forced proximity, rekindled desire, and kink that doesn’t pull its punches.

The BDSM elements are done right. No billionaire fantasy or hesitant introductions here—just two adults who know what they want and aren’t afraid to explore it fully. Their connection builds quickly, but it feels earned thanks to their chemistry and shared history.

While the story is undeniably spice-forward (and I’m not complaining!), there’s a strong emotional thread that weaves everything together. It’s the kind of book you read in one sitting because you have to know how it ends—and it’s oh-so-satisfying when it does.

If you’re in the mood for something unapologetically steamy with just the right touch of vulnerability and sweetness, Snow Bound is the perfect winter read.

Romantic erotica so buckle up. Cozy snowed in setting with a romance on the brew. Banter is delightful and funny. Anna is going for a family reunion but plans change. Grant is heading to get some rest and a vacation. When they end up facing off, what will they both walk away with.?

Anna Goodwin and Grant Snow have a chance encounter at the Odyssey, a club catering to Doms and subs. A promising start goes awry when she believes Grant ghosted her. A classic case of crossed signals. What happens when Anna and Grant reunite eighteen months later during a two-week vacation?

The accidental reunion provides Anna and Grant a second chance to explore their chemistry. Outside of D/s dynamic, Anna is hyper-independent, a trauma response to her dysfunctional relationship with her mother. Pursing Grant allows Anna to be vulnerable. Anna learns to trust Grant as “scenes” progress. This book packs a lot of heat so if you’re reading primarily for spice, then this book is for you. However, the book lacks romance and there’s not much of a plot. Definitely review the content warnings before proceeding.

SN: I really enjoy Lola. She hilarious and supportive; a true ride-or-die. I hope she gets her own book. Thank you NetGalley and Solitary Vice Publishing for providing this novel for review.

WELL this is definitely a steamy, jam packed erotica. It is exactly what you are looking for when you seek out a spicy read. Anna's rage in the beginning felt a bit dramatic and unrealistic for me, but maybe that's just what you get in a book like this. Especially since it's clearly some sort of misunderstanding (one way or another) and she is just bulldozing her way through these accusations. She even says that they had only met once and had zero promises. Anyway, I digress. The spice is HOT and spicy. Make a girl sweat a little. But the dialogue and character interactions felt a little like bad porn. I also have an extremely hard time believing that this sex-crazed woman has not had an orgasm by anyone other than her vibrator in over 2 years. Plot holes pull me out of it every time.

A cozy, snowy escape with just enough heat and heart to keep you warm

Snow Bound surprised me in the best way—it starts off like a classic snowed-in romance but slowly builds into something more layered and emotionally satisfying. Hannah Murray gives us two characters who feel real, scarred in believable ways, and watching them find comfort (and a little fire) in each other during a literal and emotional storm was incredibly satisfying.

Pros:
• The setting is perfection—snowy cabin, forced proximity, and all the right tropes to make you want to curl up with a blanket and not move for hours.
• The chemistry is strong but not rushed. There’s a natural warmth and vulnerability that makes the romantic development feel earned.
• Great emotional undercurrent—this isn’t just steam in the snow; both characters have pasts and personal arcs that add real depth.
• The dialogue is witty and grounded, making the banter feel authentic rather than performative.

Cons:
• The beginning moves a bit slowly—if you’re looking for instant sparks, it takes a little time to heat up.
• Some of the side characters feel more like placeholders for future stories (it is book one, after all), but they don’t always add much to this story yet.
• The ending felt just a tiny bit neat—satisfying, but I wouldn’t have minded a few more emotional complications or grit.

Overall, Snow Bound is a warm, romantic, character-driven story that makes great use of its wintery setting without relying too hard on cliché. If you love cozy romance with substance and a little steam, it’s a strong start to a series I’ll definitely keep reading.

Honestly this book completely surprised me. I didn’t really know what to expect when I started reading this other than the fact that it was a snowed-in/forced proximity plot line. Those kinds of stories are my absolute favourite, so I was excited to read this. And it honestly was even better than I could’ve imagined. If I had to describe the vibes of this book, it would be if 50 Shades of Grey took place in a snowed-in cabin!!! So if that’s your cup of tea, you’ll love it.

When Anna’s family bails on her family vacation and Grant doesn’t realize his family cabin has been rented, these two decide to make the most of their two week stays, especially when they have an intense connection and an unexpected link in their past.

Since this was an erotica book, there were lots of spicy scenes, as expected. However, I think they were very well written and well-conceived to fit the storyline and the characters. I think the BDSM topics of the book were extremely well written. There was lots of communication between Anna and Grant and a whole spectrum of kinks that were discussed and covered, which I loved. The scenes were also very hot and Grant and Anna had such great chemistry.

I surprisingly enjoyed the plot of this book as well. I really loved Anna’s best friend and I hope she gets a story, in particular with a certain club owner. I would read that IN A HEARTBEAT!!

Anyways, this was an unexpected surprise in a book and I enjoyed every second. It was an easy and quick read.

Sexy, sexy, sexy. When Anna’s family changes their plans and she finds herself alone in the house she’s rented for two weeks, she resigns herself to lots of time alone. Nothing could have surprised her more than a sexy man appearing at the house late that first night, nothing except finding he’s the sexy Dom she was supposed to play with at the sex club, the one who ghosted her. Two weeks in the same house with nothing to do but play? What could go wrong???

I've been in a book slump and this book completely brought me out of it. It was a good quick read. Lots of smut which is just what I needed. I do wish we found out a little more about Anna's past and how Grant figured out that's where some of her insecurities stemmed from but it didn't take away from the overall book. Loved her bff and hope she gets a book too. Anna was easy to love and a bad ass with a sassy mouth and definitely gave Grant a run for his money. The smut scenes where top notch. Will stay on my reread list when I need a quick good and smutty book.

Sexy, spicy, and sultry! I enjoyed this erotic romance and thought Murray crafted a fun and flirty story. It was easy to get lost in the pages and had me thinking about a snowed-in adventure of my own! Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

This was a real kinky read that will get you hot under the collar. It includes a lot of graphic rough play and force play so if this is triggering then stay away but I loved it. I loved that even though the woman was. sub she was still a strong kick arse woman who was getting what she wanted as well as the man and as a couple I loved them. A really good racy read.
