I just don’t know where to start?
There was basically no world building and it’s very confusing. At one point it says we are in 2016 but the language and few descriptions makes it feel like 1800s. There’s no character development. At one point the MMC is so shocked and never could have believed the FMC would choose him. The next few pages hes suddenly super possessive and about to fight his brother??
Overall this was messy. I love a good omegaverse book but I’m sorry this was not it.

- The story wasn't bad, but definitely didn't match the expected vibes of the book. I didn't feel a lot for the characters and had a hard time buying into the depth of their feelings. It was quite insta-lovey.
- Wouldn't know this was meant to be OV if it wasn't for the frequent use of Alpha and Omega. It was missing a lot of things I typically think about as being OV. A bit disappointing in that regard going into it with those expectations.
- Weird combo of older time period with random jolts of modern technology thrown in
- Language/phrasing was a bit awkward, simplistic, and redundant in some places, there was a lot of telling rather than showing.
If you want a quick easy read, this might be a fit for you as long as you're going in with appropriate expectations.
