Jumbo Bible Word Search takes biblical stories or Bible verses and makes them into search puzzles. It is a fun spin on meditating on spiritual truths while still using that 'nerdy' part of the brain as well.
I really enjoyed thinking about the meaning of a word while searching for it, especially if it took me longer to find. The design is simple yet appealing, the font chosen is easy to. read and the layout makes it easy to focus on the puzzles.
If I saw this in a store, I would buy this to do while enjoying my morning coffee :)

a well-done word search! it's almost like a bible study with word search puzzles. there are quotes and scripture. the fonts used are easily readable, which is great for those like me who struggle with most regular font-sized search puzzles.
i intend on buying a few of these to give to some family members who'd appreciate this. i always try to encourage people to do any form of puzzles because it's good for our brains to keep active, even if the activity is as simple as a word search puzzle. so i'd recommend gifting this to family members, friends, and fellow Christians alike.
thank you to NetGalley and its publisher for allowing me the opportunity to view this puzzle book in advanced. all thoughts and opinions of this book are my own, and i leave this review voluntarily.

This Jumbo Bible Word Search is a fun book of word searches, with Bible words and phrases. I found that this was good for anyone who likes to do word searches.

I love word searches so I had to download this book. I liked how it had different bible verses and some pages had words to find that filled in the blanks of some stories. The only downside was that you couldn't doodle or write in it like a real word search. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves word searches and is very religious.

Five Stars. Very well done. A thoroughly enjoyable, brain-exercising offering for those who love the word of God and puzzles. Also great for those who love puzzles but are less familiar with Scripture. This book can motivate them to explore the Bible for themselves.
Naturally, we were not able to actually do the puzzles on our device. Therefore, we look forward to purchasing this book when it is released In August 2025. The Zeitgeist imprint of Penguin Random House isn't, by default, a releaser of Christian or biblically-based books. But based on other titles this imprint has produced, it seems a logical entry.
What we liked:
• the use of whole passages of Scripture, emphasizing the search words
• the "Inward Search" Scripture references, encouraging the puzzle-doers to reflect
• the thoroughness of the authors in finding words in related verses
• the plethora of puzzles
What caused us a tiny bit of consternation (emphasis on the word "tiny," but NOT enough to make us not buy or recommend the book)
* in these days of rampant antisemitism, a puzzle about the Israelites complaining could have been left out or presented as an issue of humans complaining in general (do all things without grumbling and complaining as the theme). A puzzle about God's choice of Abraham and making him a father of many nations could have been included to counter any misunderstanding about what the authors might have been communicating in choosing to highlight the complaint of ancient Israel. We realize this is not likely on the radar of Zeitgeist editors.
• in the puzzle about Ruth and honoring in-laws (not the big takeaway from the Book of Ruth), the explanatory notes could have mentioned Ruth in the genealogy of Jesus, the Jewish Messiah, who left her pagan background and embraced the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and her famous pronouncement that Naomi's people would be her own.

The size was perfect. Loved all the Scripture. I plan to purchase when it is released and gift as well. Highly recommend.
I was blessed with an ARC and these are my own unbiased opinions.

Such a fun and inspirational Jumbo Bible Word Search. I’m so glad I was able to download via the NetGalley Reader so I can print out the pages and complete the Word Search puzzles physically. Once it’s published on the expected date of August 19, 2025 I will find out where I can purchase the physical copy to gift to family and friends. I especially like the extra large font size as it’s easy and comfortable to read. The text is large and clear and this would make the perfect gift for the holidays especially for grandparents and those that are religious and faithful.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with this ARC in exchange for my honest review and feedback.
