My kids love the Magic Treehouse series, and it was my absolute favorite when I was little as well! This book was so fun and can't wait to enjoy more of the same to come!

My kids LOVE magic treehouse books. I love to see that they are expanding their current book brand to include graphic novels. There seems to be a huge shift in what kids like to read and GN are the new normal. Both my kids enjoyed this book. I love how it still covered facts and taught them about space as well as followed a story. This book is great for all types of young readers! It even taught me something as an adult! I hope to see more of these magic treehouse house GN books hit the shelves.

The Magic Tree House fact-checkers are always a hit, and this one about space is no exception! It’s packed with fascinating facts, presented in a way that’s fun and easy for kids to follow. I can’t wait to get this for my son—he’s obsessed with space, and I know it will keep him both entertained and learning. The art and layout are colorful and engaging, making it a perfect choice for young readers who are curious about the universe.

A great, educational graphic novel. I loved the Magic Tree House Fact Trackers growing up, and I still love them as a teacher. That being said, not every student is going to want to read this information in a chapter book. Having the information present in a fun and appealing way means more students will enjoy these books,

Thank you to Netgalley for the free arc!

This is an incredibly well done graphic novel that is a supplement to the Magic Tree House series to teach kids more information. With well-organized chapters, colorful illustrations, and interesting facts, it is an enjoyable way to learn more information about space. As an adult, I learned things that I never knew before!

This was such a fun read. I have been a big magic tree house fan since I was a kid and this book did not disappoint. I thought the graphics were engaging and colorful. This book is really the definition of making learning fun.

Reading this with my kids was so fun! They loved the images and the layout.
The adventure through space gave us many opportunities to learn and discussions to dig deeper in. My middle especially enjoys that these novels are in full color with stunning images that captivate and expand her learning.

Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC.

I have no previous experience with the Magic Tree House books, other than I know that the series is successful and popular enough for several books.

But I would not recommend this book for my students, based on the fact that out of the +100 pages, there were probably all together three pages that depicted someone who wasn’t Caucasian. Magic Tree House missed so many opportunities to share information about BIPOC men and women who helped make space travel successful. Only one page about ancient Chinese myths about solar eclipses. No mention of Katherine Johnson (just one of the woman centered in the Hidden Figures movie); nothing about the women who made the astronauts spacesuits, nothing about Arnaldo Tamayo Méndez, Guy Bulford Jr, Mae Jemsion; and they only briefly mentioned Sally Ride at the very last two pages.

No, with the diversity of my classroom, I cannot in good conscience recommend this book.

This comic is packed with information about space, the solar system, and space exploration. I'm sure my students will pick it up because of the Magic Treehouse label, but stay for the scientific details. I will be looking for more in this series.

Mary Pope Osborne's books are always fantastic. I have been reading them myself since I was a child, so getting this as an ARC was an honor. This fact tracker gives follow-up information to Annie and Jack's adventure to the moon to help readers further understand the subject. This book is very detailed and will help children with any questions they may have after reading the other story. But this could also just be read on it's own. Either way the information is valuable to the reader. The pictures throughout the book are vibrant; it truly is a beautiful graphic novel. I can't wait to pick up a physical copy for my kids and I once it is officially published.

A fascinating take on the Magic Tree House series with amazing illustrations. This series has been a childhood favourite of mine and surely it will continue to entertain and educate children for many more years to come the way they are growing. Space is one of my favourite subjects to learn about this is a perfect introduction for children starting on the same topic.

Such an easily digestible discussion about the solar system, stars, the universe and even a little history as to how we started understanding the stars. I had never read a magic tree house when I was younger but I wish I had. This takes larger topics and breaks them down so younger students can learn. The illustrations are the perfect addition to these as well.

This is a great graphic novel for anyone interested in space. Being a Magic Treehouse Book I was kind of expecting a Magic Treehouse story. Unfortunately, this isn't one of those. So, go into it expecting to learn rather than experience a story.

Tons of really cool information that is organized very well. I love that Jack and Annie are the ones teaching us. It even gives information on how to use books for research. It reminded me of the Science Comics series, just Magic Tree House.

5 stars

Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Children's Books for letting me read an advanced digital copy of this book.

I grew up engrossed in the thrilling adventures of Jack and Annie, often sneaking late-night reads under my blanket with a flashlight illuminating the pages. It brings me immense joy to witness this beloved series being transformed into graphic novels, and I am even more thrilled by the beautifully illustrated fact trackers that showcase vibrant colors and captivating visuals.

The second volume delves deep into the fascinating world of space, presenting a wealth of information in a manner that is both entertaining and engaging for readers of all ages. If this particular graphic novel had been available during my childhood, it might have ignited a greater passion for nonfiction and sparked my curiosity about the universe.

As a librarian, I eagerly anticipate the release of new fact tracker books in the Magic Tree House series. My mind is already buzzing with ideas on how to integrate these engaging resources into our library programs. I can envision an exciting space research unit taking shape, filled with interactive activities and discussions that will inspire young readers to explore the wonders of space and science.

This series is a nice step into nonfiction graphic novels for students who aren't quite ready for the density of Science Comics. These pack in a lot of information in a very accessible way. I always appreciate a children's nonfiction book that teaches me something I don't know, and there were plenty of smaller fun facts scattered throughout this book that were enjoyable as an adult reader.

I have enjoyed both graphic novel Fact Trackers so far, and I hope they continue. This will pair well with the graphic novel of Midnight on the Moon (conveniently publishing the same day!)

I really enjoyed the Magic Tree House Fact Tracker Graphic Novel: Space. It was such a great introduction to space and the history of space exploration for young readers. I highly recommend it for any child who is asking questions about space, the history of space exploration, and the science behind some of the scientific terms.

I love the original fact trackers and now having graphic novel versions is incredible. They’re a great way to engage readers with nonfiction in a fun easy to read and enjoy format that appeals to younger kids and emerging readers. As a teacher, I will absolutely have this book on my shelf for students to read and enjoy and also plan to use it in engaging science and reading lessons. My 6 yr old son saw me reading this and immediately announced that he wanted to res it with me because he was so captured by the pictures.
