An introductory graphic novel for young readers. Thing 1 & Thing 2 show up at the library and cause chaos. I do wonder a bit what the target audience is - younger readers would be better off reading and original Seuss, and I"m not sure older ones will be interested.

The illustrations are colorful and engaging and the story moves quickly.

Thank you for the ARC. I will purchase for my library.

Arthee "Art" Baltazar is an American comics artist and writer. The illustration in Dr. Seuss Graphic Novel: Thing One and Thing Two Have Homework to Do is so colorful and amazing. If there were no words the illustration alone would tell the whole story.

This is such a fun book to read. Imagine being at the Library and all of a sudden The Cat in the Hat shows up. We immediately know from experience that things are about to get interesting. Instead of doing their homework the children are being entertained by the shenanigans of The Cat. He brings out so many Things to cover ever subject in the book. Who needs to do their homework when you have Things One through Twenty Six to take care of it.

Reading with all the onomatopoeias is so much fun. I love sound effects. Best part is if you want to learn how to draw the characters at the end of the novel there is a drawing tutorial. Plus a sneak peek of The Grinch Takes a Vacation.

~Thank you NetGallery, Art Baltazar and Random House Children's Books | Random House Graphic for the ARC.
