This was a very cute book with nods to classic Dr.Seuss tales. I loved the graphic novel versions, these are so popular right now due to how engaging they are for young readers. It really helps struggling readers read "a whole book" and feel proud of their accomplishments. This was very cute and colorful! It had great graphics and a simple story. It was a little challenging to read as an ebook, but I imagine the finished product will be great!

The second of Art Baltazar's Cat in the Hat graphic novels improves on the original formula, taking the Cat and his Things into the library to "help" Sally and her brother with their homework.

Baltazar's art is always a hit for me, and this time it serves a more succinct and engaging story, I think that these books are a great transition from the original Seuss stories to longer books for developing readers.

This was another fun chapter book graphic novel featuring Cat in the Hat and all the Things. The illustrations were super fun and engaging and the story was fun to read about Sally and her brother getting the Things to help them with their mountain of homework and the chaos that ensues. I think I have read all the chapter book Seuss graphic novels and they are all just so fun and great for anyone who loves seuss.

The artwork within this graphic novel is so bold and encouraging for me to read to children. Along with the text size being good for children to read on their own! I really enjoyed this selection. Personally, I laughed throughout the book and I am interested in more of these Dr. Seuss Graphic Novels!!

Also, there is a treat feature of a Grinch graphic novel. What! I love that concept!! I am so ready for it to be published.

A graphic novel aimed at young readers, this one features the familiar character, the Cat in the Hat. Anyone who has read The Cat in the Hat won't be surprised that when the Cat shows up, chaos ensues--and he always brings Things with him. So MANY Things in this book!

This story moves quickly and has very colorful illustrations. Fans of the Cat in the Hat books will want to give this one a chance.

This was a cute little Graphic Novel for young readers. Though the young reader is the target audience for me as an adult it also had some Nostalgia.

The kids are basically in the library when the cat in the hat comes in and brings his things and it's not just thing 1 and thing 2 this time . Anyways they are supposed to help with homework but end up doing way more then that.

This Graphic Novel could be enjoyed by older or younger depending on interests. It was an easy read in 1 sitting and even included some drawing instructions at the end.

Thank you #Netgalley , the author , illustrator and publisher for the advanced copy of this book.

This was so, so cute! I haven’t read many graphic novels, so I was really excited to get the chance to read this.

Not only were the illustrations fabulous, but the story was adorable, too. I wish the Cat in the Hat would bring Things to come rescue me from my homework! (Even if he brings a little bit of a disaster in his wake)….

I think children and adults of all ages would enjoy this book. As an artist, I also loved the included how-to-draw the illustrated characters at the end of the book. It definitely makes this book unique and fun as not only a really great read, but a hands on art project and learning experience, too. This definitely inspires imagination - which is so important!

I look forward to recommending this to the families that I know, and I hope to see this on many library bookshelves!

Thank you NetGalley, Art Baltazar and Random House Children's Books for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

An introductory graphic novel for young readers. Thing 1 & Thing 2 show up at the library and cause chaos. I do wonder a bit what the target audience is - younger readers would be better off reading and original Seuss, and I"m not sure older ones will be interested.

The illustrations are colorful and engaging and the story moves quickly.

Thank you for the ARC. I will purchase for my library.

Arthee "Art" Baltazar is an American comics artist and writer. The illustration in Dr. Seuss Graphic Novel: Thing One and Thing Two Have Homework to Do is so colorful and amazing. If there were no words the illustration alone would tell the whole story.

This is such a fun book to read. Imagine being at the Library and all of a sudden The Cat in the Hat shows up. We immediately know from experience that things are about to get interesting. Instead of doing their homework the children are being entertained by the shenanigans of The Cat. He brings out so many Things to cover ever subject in the book. Who needs to do their homework when you have Things One through Twenty Six to take care of it.

Reading with all the onomatopoeias is so much fun. I love sound effects. Best part is if you want to learn how to draw the characters at the end of the novel there is a drawing tutorial. Plus a sneak peek of The Grinch Takes a Vacation.

~Thank you NetGallery, Art Baltazar and Random House Children's Books | Random House Graphic for the ARC.
