A highly timely and valuable resource the upper elementary and middle school classrooms who want to teach true history. A deep dive into the history of abolition in the US and a look into some heroes you may never have heard of. As a teacher and a mom, I adore this whole series. I always learn new information that I’m eager to share with students and in a time of trying to white wash history, books like this become even more valuable.
