Thank you to NetGalley, Brilliance Publishing & Sally Hepworth for this audio arc copy.
This is a fun and quick thriller. Perfect for a poolside or beach day read. I loved the narrator's voice in this.

This was just okay for me. I didn’t dislike it, but as a novella, it didn’t have much meat to sink into. The premise was interesting, but everything felt a bit too surface-level to really make an impact. Not a bad listen, just not especially memorable.

I love Sally Hepworth books. When I saw that she wrote a short story in the "Alibis series" I knew I needed to read it.

This is book number 2 in the Alibis collection. This story focuses on a famous chef who is found dead in the restaurant freezer. In this short story you dive deep into the ex-wives lives and how they all became close. I loved getting to know each of the wives and their stories and their families. I loved getting to know the workers of the restaurant and hearing every person's alibi. This is a quick fast paced thriller that will keep you guessing until the end. I loved it.

Thank you to NetGalley, Brilliance Publishing & Sally Hepworth for this audio arc copy. The following is my honest review.
LThe Ex-Wives Club by Sally Hepworth? Obsessed.
First off, the narrator - absolute queen..The Aussie accent was spot-on (shoutout to Melbourne setting!), and her French character voice?Slayed.Give her an award.
The story unfolds in a restaurant, which made it feel like an episode ofThe Bear if Carmy were a, cheating dirtbag. The drama between characters gave major Liane Moriarty vibes—messy, layered, addictive.
Normally novellas aren’t my thing (sorry boys, size does matter), but this one was perfectly paced. I was actually mad when it ended—not because of the ending, but because I didn’t want to leave that delicious little world.
A fast, juicy read I liked way more than I expected.

This was such a great quick thriller that really immersed you into the ex wife club. The twist was spot on and it really kept me on my toes.

This was a decent, quick little audiobook.
The MC, Ian in this one owns a fancy restaurant and his ex wives all just roll up and eat for free. Oh they’ve also all become friendly. One big happy family right!?! Well until his daughter announces she’s coming to the states for Uni.
Ian is found dead in the walk in freezer and there are limits on suspects because while Ian can turn on the charm, he’s also a total prick.

A chef winds up dead, and his three ex-wives are all suspects. All three of his ex-wives meet up every week at a restaurant to hang out. Other suspects include his newest girlfriend, Emma, his son and daughter, and his restaurant staff. I enjoyed the premise of the book because everyone has an alibi and a motive to want him dead. However, this book fell short of some of Sally Hepworth's other novels. I feel I just wanted more but this story was relatively short. Good read overall!

The Ex-Wives Club by Sally Hepworth was a super fun thriller. Set in a restaurant when the restaurant owner is found dead in the walk in freezer, we follow Detective Inspector Li while she is interviewing the many suspects and finding out their alibis. I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys thrillers, mysteries and short fun reads!

I am a huge Sally Hepworth fan! Her stories are full of characters with emotional depth who I remember long after the end of each story. Unfortunately, I did not see the same development with these characters in her short story. The twist at the end was fun.

3.5 stars, rounded to 4.
This was a quick poolside read!
Short story!
More characters than I expected in a short story, but they were well developed.
The plot was well structured and the pace was great. I love a fast paced book - and this short story did it for me!
We get 3 ex-wives who are friends. Their ex-husband is found dead and fingers are pointed at the friend group.
Multiple POVs.
This kept me engaged and I very quickly read it. Enjoyed it a great deal!
Add this to your summer TBR!
Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for the opportunity to read and review this book!
Happy Reading!

This is #2 in the Alibi’s collection, and on audio, I really enjoyed it. Sally never steers me wrong, and she delivered again with this short read. A celebrity chef is found dead, and the prime suspects are his three ex-wives. Via audio, this was excellent. I was able to keep everyone straight as we sorted through each one and who was behind the murder. The twist at the end was excellent, and I loved how she was able to pull this off in such a short story.
Thank you to Brilliance Publishing for the ALC to review.

This was just okay for me. Not terrible, but definitely not memorable. I listed to the audio and to be completely honest it was not worth the time. I would pass on this one.
Thank you to NetGalley and Brilliance Publishing for the advance listening copy in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own.

The Ex-Wives Club, narrated by Anthea Greco, was a fast-paced and entertaining novella audio. Greco’s narration was excellent. The plot, featuring a group of ex-wives, was intriguing and kept me engaged throughout. Sally Hepworth’s writing was crafting a compelling who-dun-it? story. I appreciate the opportunity to listen to this book through Amazon Original Stories via NetGalley.

I’m a Sally Hepworth fan, so I was happy to see she contributed to this short story collection. This story is all things I love in a short story. The characters are developed well and the conclusion has a fun, ironic twist. It’s a quick listen and the narration by Althea Greco is excellent. I’m looking forward to Sally Hepworth’s next book!

Sally Hepworth never disappoints. Her thrillers are not the typical; they usually blend the psychological with the emotional for thrillers with great depth and character development. Short stories are tough, though, because of the heavy lifting that must be done in such a short burst. She did a solid job of bringing an ex-wives’ club to life, with murderous consequences, in a way that was entertaining and engaging. But of course, like all short stories, I wanted more.

This was quick and enjoyable, I loved the twist and thought the ex wives were great together! I listened to this one and the narrator did a good job.

I am a Sally Hepworth super fan, so it pains me to say that I didn’t love this one. But she has a new book coming soon that I’m on the edge of my seat for. I will never not read her books. On to the next!
This was a quick audiobook read that I finished in one sitting with excellent narration.
My thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.

This one was fun and fast to follow. I didn't guess the culprit which was nice. Was it spectacular, no but entertaining yes!

When a restaurateur and serial philanderer turns up stone-cold dead, his trio of exes falls under suspicion in a sharp-witted and suspenseful short story. This was a fun read with a mix of humor and suspense with a completely satisfying ending. The audiobook was well done, and the narrator did such great voice acting that it brought an even better layer to the story. Highly recommend!

I loved this! Sally Hepworth always writes such a binge-able psychological thriller with a hint of humor and this was absolutely that! I loved the mix of characters and the different alibi’s, and even though the end is somewhat predictable, she finishes off with a perfect cherry on top twist! The audiobook narration was also fantastic!
