Absolutely ate this book up...seriously, in a day! I've never read a shifter/omegaverse before and what an introduction. The world building and magic system was interesting yet easy to follow. Perfect for someone new to the genre. Sadie definitely made the "top FMCs" list. Her strong will yet self-deprecating humor was a great mix. One minute I'm cheering on a bad a** and the next I'm cracking up! And I loved the vastly different personalities and back stories of the 3 males (hello, reverse harem!) and reading their POV. I immediately purchased other titles by the author and can't wait to finish the shifters series!

Thank you to Jasmine Mas and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this ARC and listen to this ALC and give my honest review!
In all transparency here, I LOVED and DEVOURED The Blood of Hercules - so I was super excited to read this book; it had been on my TBR for a while.
First I’ll start with the audiobook - the narrators and the duet style narration was perfection! Mollie Stark was wonderful and really added to the FMC’s comedic inner monologue and quips. (As soon as I heard Teddy Hamilton’s voice I knew it was going to be good.)
I really enjoyed the banter and tension in this book. Especially between Sadie and Cobra. (Who doesn’t love a tortured shadow daddy?) And that twist though! I will definitely be continuing on to read the rest of this series!
If you enjoy the following, you’ll enjoy this book:
-Why Choose/Reverse Harem
-Enemies to Lovers
-Bully Romance
-Shifters
-Inexperienced FMC/Older confident MMCs
-Touch her and die behavior
-Shifters, beasts, and fae
-Secrets and spies
-Battle training
-Angst and banter
-Sword crossing

***4.0 Stars***
Overall,
While this book follows the formulaic genre of paranormal shifters and romance, I found this book very refreshing and FUNNY. I laughed out loud multiple times. The FMC finds herself in an untenable situation suffering for years, finally a reprieve she is tested and finds out that she is the first female Alpha and is sent to go work at one of the portals to the never ending war, where of course there are 3 giant handsome alphas waiting for her. This book is written in first person and we get to understand all of the FMC's thoughts and man this girl is hilarious. Other than that the usual tropes apply, I would say this is a bit of a slow burn, don't expect much in the way of romance in this book. I will definitely be reading more from this author and the rest of this series.
*** Thank you Netgalley for the chance to read this book in exchange for my free and honest review***

Let’s talk about Psycho Shifters—because wow, this book is a ride. If you’re into dark romance with intense alpha energy, feral shifters, and a heroine who refuses to back down, you might want to buckle up and dive in.
The story centers on Quinn, a tough-as-nails survivor with a sharp mouth and a dark past. She’s thrown into the world of shifters—four of them, to be exact—who are aggressive, unhinged, and wind up completely obsessed with her for reasons she doesn’t understand. Each guy brings his own brand of crazy to the table (seriously, they’re not called Psycho Shifters for nothing), and the group dynamic is tense, chaotic, and very steamy.
What I loved most about Quinn is that she’s no damsel in distress. She’s been through it, but she doesn’t let it break her. She’s fierce, smart, and not afraid to stand up to a pack of dangerously hot men who clearly aren't used to being told “no.” There’s violence, twisted power plays, and moments that had me side-eyeing characters—but that’s exactly the appeal if you enjoy dark fantasy romance.
Is it toxic? Oh yes. Is it also addictively entertaining? Absolutely.
The writing is fast-paced, dramatic, and full of tension—both sexual and emotional. Jasmine Mas really leans into the dark themes, so I’d definitely check the trigger warnings before diving in. But if you’re a fan of the “why choose” trope and enjoy morally grey characters who blur all the lines, this one hits the mark.
Final thoughts:
If you're into messy relationships, alpha male chaos, and strong heroines who give as good as they get, Psycho Shifters will keep you turning the pages way past bedtime. Just prepare yourself for some serious emotional whiplash... and probably the need for book 2 immediately!

2.5 ⭐️ I have some pretty mixed feelings on this one. On one hand I read this book in less than 24 hours. On the other hand, it felt all over the place, and the plot/storyline was very chaotic. There was too much going on, so it was hard to see character development (or understand why certain characters made some of their choices).
I would have liked to see some other POVs from the guys, since the majority of the book was Sadie’s POV.
Overall, it was a very easy read, and I’m interested enough to read the second book, but I’m hoping for a little bit more cohesiveness, and some more world building.
Thanks NetGalley for the ebook.

This is a guilty pleasure book, and we are here for the vibes! I read this after being introduced to Jasmine Mas via Blood of Hercules. While the story was vastly different from BOH, her writing style clearly carries through both. Can't wait to start the next one!

Most of the time, I read to be transported—give me lush prose, inventive worlds, complex plots, and stories that make me feel.

𝘐 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘢 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘺 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬.
Something deliciously messy, drama-drenched, and gloriously unhinged that I can devour in one sitting.
𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿: 𝙋𝙨𝙮𝙘𝙝𝙤 𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨.
Is it a good book? Maybe not in the traditional sense. But is it fun, fast-paced, and absolutely unputdownable? Oh, 100%.
You’ve got the classic resilient, snarky orphan with a tragic past, constantly underestimated—surrounded by a harem of possessive, obsessive, completely deranged alphaholes who 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 want to hate her… but can’t.
What can I say? It’s hella fun, absolutely ridiculous, hilariously extra, and I’m immediately picking up book two.

I listened to the audiobook of this one so I can't say much for the ebook. This book was MUCH better (in my opinion) than her Blood of Hercules book but still not my favorite. The audiobook was fantastic though so I gave it a pretty high rating.

Psycho Shifters takes place in the Cruel Shiftersverse series about Alpha and Beta shifters tasked with protecting the realm. The book came out in 2022 but has been rereleased with a special edition paperback with sprayed edges as well as a duet audiobook with multiple narrators.
Ever since reading Blood of Hercules, this series has been on my tbr and I can tell you, if you loved BoH as much as I did, you’ll probably love this series too. They have very similar tone, characters, plot, themes and just overall vibes. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series. The narration was spot on with the multiple narrators all doing their own characters throughout the chapters so it made it easy to follow along with which character was speaking.

This is a quick, easy to digest omegaverse romantasy. It was fun, a bit wild but the world building was really easy to follow along with. Some great humor mixed in. I would recommend it to friends.
Thanks to NetGalley, Harlequin Audio, Harlequin Trade Publishing & Canary Street Press for the eARC and ALC copies to read and listen to.

God she's so funny! I genuinely think jasmine mas and I would get along so well. Her characters have the best humor. I couldn't put it down.

I did deduct a start due to not knowing this ends on a cliff hanger! I thought this was an interconnected standalone, not a true series. This book is also a slow burn but it was UBER GOOD.

I’m going to be honest I went into this book with zero knowledge of what it was about. Only thing I did know was that it was written by Jasmine Mas. Who I discovered earlier this year thanks to Blood of Hercules (which I loved). I decided to deep dive Jasmine’s back catalogue and came across that she has a reverse harem shift romance. My brain: “SAY LESS!”
Then I was lucky enough to get an arc of the re-release version of this book from Canary Street Press (BIG THANK YOU BTW). I figured this must be fate. Immediately starts reading and then proceeds to devour it in less than 24 hours (also proceeded to pick up the sequel through KU 😬) Listen I need to know what happens after that cliffhanger SUE ME.
I know this book is older and being re-released. But I have a serious question. Why are there so many negative reviews?!?!!! Did y’all not read the same book I did?!?!! Clearly not because let me tell you this book was crack. I seriously thought I would be sitting down to read a few chapters. But here I am now about to pull an all nighter just read the next book.
Psycho Shifters was SO GOOD!!! It hooked me from the get good and didn’t let me stop reading. Our FMC is not only hilarious but one of the strongest characters I’ve read in awhile. I see some of y’all complaining that she’s winey. Can you give our girl a break dear god. She’s allowed to be winey after all she’s endured. You can’t honestly tell me you wouldn’t come out of what she’s been through without being a smidge winey. I SWEAR.
Besides or FMC, all our wonderful boys are also fabulous. They are each so uniquely different and I can’t wait to see the series progress and dive deeper into all of their backgrounds. I also loved the magic system. I’m so used to shifter romance stories being only wolves. It made me so happy that each character was a uniquely different animal shifter. Brought such a fun and refreshing experience to the story.
Overall, I cannot say enough good things about this. Please read this immediately. My only disclaimer would be though to please check trigger warnings before tackling just in case you struggle with topics or abuse and SA.

I tried multiple times to get into this one and for some reason, I just couldn’t. My second dnf of the year.

Loved all the dark humour/sarcasm and tension between the characters (this is a slow-burn, why choose romance). An easy, fast-paced, and entertaining read, albeit some questionable writing (just remember to lower your expectations because this is just a fun read).
I enjoyed reading all four POVs and how distinct each character was with their own sense of humour and their backstories on what shaped them to be who they are now.

Soooo what the heck did I just read, and why do I want to continue the series??
SO MUCH of this is just generic shifter filler, but with very odd choices of modern language (and lots of bathroom and vomiting details- no thanks)

This was a very captivating story that I couldn’t put down. It is so different from other books that I was enjoying every second. It is full spice and suspense. This cliffhanger ending was something else! I hope the second book is as good as this one.

Psycho Shifters was so addictive; it had everything I didn't know I needed, starting with not just one but three male Alphas. I was loving the why-choose energy. Plus, I appreciate how protective they all were, even though they claimed over and over again how they didn't trust Sadie.
Jax is probably the sweetest; he takes care of Sadie and always makes sure that she eats. He's got strong protective instincts and almost feels like the leader.
Cobra clearly has past trauma, but he's probably my favorite. He will hurt those who harm other people. Jax and Cobra have a strong relationship; they are loyal as well as protective of each other.
Ascher is semi-mysterious; he's newer to the group. Although we get to see his possessive side.
I also loved that Sadie wasn't the typical FMC that's a strong warrior. She isn't trained, and she absolutely hates running. Sadie is relatable, like if a normal person was thrown into a fantasy world.
I'm looking forward to continuing this series because I'm fully hooked. If you enjoyed reading The Never List, then you'll probably enjoy this as well!

Beautiful, breathtaking enticing and wonderful in glad to have read this and miss the way reading this for the first time made me feel, thankyou for this chance and this world

This is one of those fantasy books that is good and at some parts you wonder why you keep reading but it is just so addictive. We love a good book boyfriend though and this gave that.

I wanted to love this so so much but I didn't and that super bums me out.
The premise is perfect. The plot itself is fantastic and that's what drew me to it. The problem is the characters. I got so tired of hearing how tiny and deliciate the fmc is. It gives major Shannon like the river vibes. And the guys were just jerks. Not even in a sweet they are trying to care for her way. They go from absolutely hating her to being insanely controlling literally trying to shove food in her mouth.
I did listen to the audio book while I read and while the book itself got a three the audio gets a five. The narrators were absolutely fantastic and truly brought the story to life. If it wasn't for the previously mentioned issues I would be obsessed.
