Lady Ashley Sinclair is hellbent on revenge after her suitor flees town, blaming the notorious Earl of Linsey for their ruined romance. Determined to make Thomas pay, she devises a daring scheme to steal his most prized possessions—his champion horses. But her plot unravels when she discovers the earl is far from the villain she imagined. Thomas, bound by a high-stakes wager requiring him to wed before his 25th birthday, is equally disarmed by the sharp-tongued beauty who invades his stables—and his heart.

Adrien and Wilde deliver a delicious clash of wills, blending Ashley’s vengeful grit with Thomas’s roguish charm. Their chemistry is scorching. While the pacing lags slightly in the middle, there is a twist that brings the tension back. Thomas’s vulnerability as a horse-obsessed virgin hero is charming, and Ashley’s growth from vengeful schemer to loyal partner is a fun trajectory to follow.

This book explores how a revenge plot really turns into love.

Lady Ashley's hopes are dashed when her suitor leaves town blaming our hero as the cause. She is disappointed and is set out to hurt our hero.

The hero Thomas has a lot on his shoulders. he needs to marry soon and get his horses ready for an upcoming race. And then Ashley walks into his life.

What starts as a relationship with opposing motives soon becomes one where a mutual villian needs to be removed.

This book was decently paced, romance was not too deep, and the characters were well a written.

A solid 3.5*

Dare to Tempt an Earl this Spring begins the Wedding Fever series with an unusual historical romance for Ashley and Thomas, as her need for revenge and his need to concentrate on his horses to outwit a rival will collide with unexpected results for them both.

It would be too easy to say far more than I intend about Dare to Tempt an Earl this Spring by Sara Adrien & Tanya Wilde. Revenge is forefront in Ashley’s mind, the need for marriage, and the fate of his horses are of importance to Thomas. When these two collide, there will be wild sparks, betrayals, and a love worth fighting for. I loved Ashley and Thomas both individually and as a couple. The mess they find themselves in, brought on by a sleazy rival, is captivating in its delivery and ending. Watching this couple grow and change their minds about each other was a wonderful journey.

If you love a well-written, steamy, emotional, revenge-driven historical romance, then Dare to Tempt an Earl this Spring by Sara Adrien & Tanya Wilde would be perfect for you. I’m looking forward to the next story.

These are two authors that I enjoy so when I saw they were collaborating, it was an immediate pre-order. So I loved Thomas, I love a jealous, kind, slightly submissive man. When he took the lead its cause she said so... I ate that up. Ashley, she stood on her business, I have learned do not cross her! She was gonna teach him a lesson where it hurt, savage (I loved it). The ending kind of flew together which made it a little messy (the horse race for example) But she had a friend group and they were supportive. I can't wait to read the next one cause it includes characters from Sara's other series and that's gonna be fun!

A wonderful start to this new series based around the four seasons. A descriptive story and a romance full of witty banter and undeniable passion. There's attraction from the start for Ashley and Thomas but they are a little baffled by each other because Ashley wants revenge and Thomas isn't quite sure about her. It's a wager for love where getting to know each other brings about a most unexpected happily ever after. I enjoyed the setting and introduction of characters in London and the developing love story in the countryside.

All bets are off..

Thomas, an earl, is in want of a wife, so he doesn't loose a bet to his duke "friend." He thinks he spies her across the ballroom as the clock ticks down to his twenty fifth birthday. If he fails to wed, he looses his best six horses to the duke.

Ashley, two weeks ago, was set on wedding Jordan, a third son of a baron, Except, from his terse letter to her, she gleans that he was run out town due to a bet with Thomas. So, she hates him. As Jordan has sailed away and she is unwed.

Horses, way too many bets and a tangle of wits.
Recommend.

A plot driven by revenge and subterfuge, Lady Ashley takes her revenge on the Earl of Linsey, little realizing that they have both been played. That Ashley formed a plan to destroy Thomas is bad enough, but to discover that she has targeted a man whose passion has led to the jealousy of the unscrupulous brings her to her knees. Fortunately, they do have a champion. I cannot say that I actually enjoyed this book, but I was glad that it came to a good conclusion. I received a copy of this romance as a gift, and this is my honest and voluntary review.

oh this was a stunning start of summer read. it made me feel cheerful and brighter just reading it. the plot. the pace the witty banter throughout was just a delight. and if this is the start of a series then i cant wait. if this is two authors getting to write this together i cant imagine the smiles and fun they must have had doing so.
i loved how both our characters had their own plan here. very different from eachother. and neither counted on the instant they met and became confused by their own feelings and that they saw reflected in the other. but is it attraction or is it just a stead in both to keep going with their own plans?
we have Lady Ashley who is hell bent on revenge to the man that caused her heartbreak. she wants revenge. and that man is Thomas the Earl of Linsey. shes going to do so by taking his most important thing too. his horses. so she hatches a plan to do just that. but in going ahead with her plan she didnt count on how she would feel about the man himself.
then you have Thomas. hes not bothered by anything or anyone. he has his aim that he has no choice but to pull off. its not feelings he needs to consider. its a cut off point to getting whats rightfully his. hes got a wager on his shoulder. one that says he will lose everything if he doesnt marry by his 25th birthday. but also on his mind is his beloved horses. and getting them ready for the races what he doesnt see coming or expect to shake him would be our Lady Ashley. but there's something more behind her eyes that concern him. is she being honest with him?
the passion between these two is rocket like and i loved the interaction between the both of them.
this was a brilliant book and i cant wait to read more if i get the chance to. what a joy of a book.

Ashley wants revenge on Thomas the Earl because she believes him to be the reason her suitor is gone.
Ashley works on tempting Thomas to fall in love with her so she can dump him and hurt him the way she was hurt.
Their relationship is complicated with secrets and twists involving others,
Enjoyable read with a HEA.

I would like to thank Netgalley and Dragonblade Publishing for a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

This was entertains and I liked that there was a bit of a twist, though it could have been explored more. Loved that the hero was a horse boy and a virgin. There were a few inconsistencies that were a little annoying.

Ashley holds a grudge against Thomas. When she hears he is in town for a wife, she plans to make him fall in love with her and then she will walk away from him. Thomas is intrigued by Ashley and, since he has to marry before his upcoming birthday, he asks her to marry him. What they don't plan on is falling in love. I felt this story was much longer than it needed to be. I received an ARC from NetGalley and Dragonblade Publishing for my honest review.
