The College Finder takes the overwhelming process of college selection and breaks it down into something manageable—and dare I say—almost fun. With over 1,200 categorized lists, this guide goes beyond rankings and gets into what really matters: affordability, fit, and campus culture. I appreciated how easy it was to cross-check colleges that align with specific academic and lifestyle interests. As someone helping my teen start their college search, I found this book incredibly useful—and a lot more helpful than aimless Googling.

🎓 Buckle up, future freshmen, because this guide is the GPS your college search didn’t know it needed. The College Finder is like that bestie who knows all the tea on every campus and isn’t afraid to dish it out. I loved how it skipped the snobby prestige stuff and focused on real things like affordability, vibes, and whether a school actually fits who you are. It’s fun, fast to flip through, and totally made me rethink what "dream college" even means. 📚💁♀️

Majors, Minors & No Meltdowns!
This book is like the best college advisor you never had—zero jargon, all clarity, and just enough sass to make me believe the right campus does exist (and I won’t need a trust fund to get there). 💁♀️📘

The college search process is often stressful, challenging, unrelenting and competitive. Having resources and support can be very helpful. For those who want a book that might help to sort through what schools offer and look for, this one could be of help.
The overall theme of this title is finding...including the following sections:
Finding Your Way, Finding Community, Finding Academic Success, Finding Value, Finding First Steps, Finding Activities, and Finding Global Learning.
The authors also look at hidden gems, fields of study in more. There are many lists to help in the sorting and discovery process.
This book is designed to help students find schools where they can thrive. It is not just recommending that handful of extremely competitive schools.
Start with the questionnaire and go from there to get some suggestions and advice.
This book is long and packed with lists. I wish that there had been more to this book than the lists however.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Educonsulting Media for this title. All opinions are my own.
