I was pleasantly surprised by this story. I was expecting a dull, workaday book. What I got was something else. The author was wrongly imprisoned for murder, sentenced to death, and imprisoned on death row in the infamous Angola, La prison. His story of survival, self improvement, and leadership is simply heartwarming and awe inspiring. It should be required reading for inmates, counselors, and law enforcement. It us very well written and organized. Simply an outstanding first book.
