Wow that was a twisty book! I did guess some elements but not all, this is a short book at 313 pages and has short chapters that leave you saying “just one more” until the book is done.
We get multiple POV’s as well as some therapist notes and jumps backwards and forwards in time to fill in a complete picture of what happened.
I did spend the first half of the book questioning Anna’s decisions but the reasons behind them become clear as we get near to the end.
This book is perfect for people that like fast paced thrillers and authors like Freida McFadden.

I love reading Anya Mora’s books, and this one completely blew my mind. Once I started reading, I just couldn’t stop — it’s such a whirlwind of secrets and lies!
The story switches between the present and flashbacks to the past, and that slow burn really ramps up the tension until it’s almost unbearable. It’s a total page‑turner. I’m not usually a fan of end‑of‑chapter cliffhangers, but here they worked, pulling me in deeper every time.
Anya Mora just excels at creating stories you can’t walk away from. The writing is so immersive, and the pace never lets up. The final reveal? Absolutely jaw‑dropping. I changed my mind so many times about what was really going on and still ended up being completely wrong!
If you’re looking for a dark, gripping, keep‑you‑guessing‑till‑the‑end psychological thriller, Love You To Death is one you won’t forget. A fantastic read — and one that will stick with me for a long time.

Love You to Death by Anya Mora.
This was a really good read. I love the cover and blurb of this book. This is the 4th book by this author I've read. It was a little slow to start with but I soon got into it. I did sort of guess what was happening. I read this in two sittings. I wasn't sure how I felt about the characters. I didn't have any favourites. Twisty story. I certainly didn't see that coming.

Oh, my word, I have just finished one intense and brilliant read, I swear my heart kept stopping towards the end and boy what a talent the author is.
Anna has lost her husband and is deep in grief trying to raise her 11-year-old daughter, she stumbles across super handsome Parker, who captures her attention and heart. Much to the dismay of her deceased husbands’ parents.
Things move fast and he soon moves in, followed by his sister and things start to happen that shake the household.
Whose doing all of this, then add Grant to the mix and it’s a real whirlwind of secrets and lies.
I loved how the author described her daughter changing from child to almost teenager in the blink of an eye. It’s a harsh reality for all parents.
‘My body doesn’t know how to separate absence from abandonment’, another deep insight the author drops in there for those of us who can identify with separation anxiety.
I recommend this read a 5 star, non-stop read. Incredibly awesome.

The blurb caught my interest and I was looking forward to getting stuck in. The storyline plays out in the present day and flashbacks to the past. I found it a really slow burn that was both predictable and unfortunately I just found it really unbelievable and far fetched. There was just too much within the storyline that wouldn’t play out in real life. I love a storyline that builds suspense but the cliffhangers at the end of each chapter were just irritating. I didn’t feel any of the characters were likeable. I was hoping I’d be pleasantly surprised if I continued but unfortunately it wasn’t to be. Definitely not one of my favourite reads.
2.5/5 🌟🌟/🌟
Thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for the opportunity to read and review #LoveYouToDeath

What a page-turner this is! The story is narrated by Anna as she re-builds her life after the death of her husband, Theo, and finds new happiness with Parker. We learn about Anna's life leading up to Theo's death and now, as she and Parker plan their future together. Anna is the main narrator, but there are chapters interspersed from the notes of a therapist, which are chilling and unnerving.
When Theo's belongings start to appear back in Anna's home, the tension really ramps up and then the twists start to drop. There are so many hidden secrets but the final reveal - OMG! I changed my mind so many times about what I believed was the truth, but I was so far off and these jaw-dropping twists are where Anya Mora totally excels. Her writing style is immersive and the pace doesn't let up, which makes it very difficult to put the book down. A great read!

I have read many books by anya and this one did not disappoint.
The cover for this book is stunning.
I thought I had this book figured out then bam I got side tracked again.
Love anyas books they are so addictive.

Anna is a grieving widow after losing her husband in what was ruled a tragic accident. Just trying to keep her daughter and herself together is taking a toll. But when 6 months after her husband's death she meets Parker, she is swept off of her feet. Parker is everything Anna wants, charming, kind and handsome and they begin a whirlwind romance. But it seems like things are moving too fast. Soon strange things start to infiltrate Anna's second chance. Her late husband's things start showing up around the house, her teenage daughter is spiraling into grief, and Anna feels like she is always being watched. Has Anna's past come back to haunt her?
This dark and twisty read kept me guessing! Just when I had thought that I had figured everything out, Mora switches it up and pulls you in another direction. The pacing is steady after an initial slow beginning, but it soon ramps up the tension and you get sucked in. Anna as our main character was an unreliable narrator so it was hard to figure out her motivations which made the twist hit harder. Overall a solid domestic thriller that I would recommend to fans of Lucy Foley and Nicole Trope!!
Thank you to NetGalley, Anya Mora, and Bookouture for this ARC! Publication date is June 23rd 2025.

This psychological thriller pulled me in with its layered storytelling and emotional depth. Told through back-and-forth timelines, the story slowly unravels—and just when you think you’ve figured it out, another piece clicks into place.
The more you read, the more the characters make sense. Secrets are revealed, tension builds, and there’s this quiet emotional weight running underneath the suspense. And the ending? I did not see that coming.
Suspenseful, emotional, and full of twists—I couldn’t put it down. Anya Mora knows how to craft a story that keeps you guessing until the very last page.
Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley for the advanced copy!

Y’all! I went in expecting a tender second-chance romance dipped in grief—and instead got hit with ghost-husband jump scares, a hauntingly persistent wedding album, and the scent of cologne that should not be lingering. I was hooked like a raccoon in a Dollar General dumpster. 🦝💀
Anna, a widowed mom, is trying to rebuild with her new fiancé Parker, but strange things start happening fast—her late husband’s scarf appears, shadows whisper, and her teen daughter Sadie is spiraling. Is it grief? Gaslighting? Or something way darker crawling up from the past?
Anya Mora writes like she’s got a direct line to your goosebumps. The pacing? Lightning. The characters? Deliciously messy and real. The twists? I clutched my metaphorical pearls more than once. Everyone’s hiding something, and when the truth claws its way out—WHEW. Nobody’s walking away clean.
Creepy. Twisty. Weirdly emotional. This is domestic suspense with claws.

The review below is already posted on Goodreads and will be posted on Amazon once publication has occurred on June 23rd.
The book Love You to Death was not as much of a thriller as I was expected. while I was a little disappointed that it didn't give me chills like other books have, I did thoroughly enjoy the story line and the ending that was given to the characters. It was a fairly fast read for me. I also got some confusion when certain chapters popped up because they weren't explained until later the significance of them but I loved that it added to the mystery of the novel. The book also had me guessing what was actually happening the first half of it and that is a good sign that I am hooked to find out the truth. Overall, it was a good read!

I may have had a scowl on my face for a good deal of the time as I read this book.
I kept wondering what is the deal with each of these people??
Anna has secrets, Parker questionable and Helen annoying.
However, I figured out a major piece of the plot before it was revealed and I had miscalculated on a couple of the characters.
I don’t condone some of the actions Anna took but I understood why she did them.
This book kept me guessing.

Love You to Death by Anya Mora is a gripping psychological thriller that explores the fragile line between grief, healing, and the shadows of a buried past. The story opens with a devastating blow—an unexpected and strange accident leaves a woman widowed and reeling. As she tries to make sense of the tragedy and find her footing again, fate intervenes in the form of Parker, a man who appears to offer her a fresh start and the possibility of love once more.
But just as things begin to settle, dark echoes of her past resurface, threatening not only her newfound peace but her grip on reality. Mora masterfully builds suspense, weaving emotional depth into a taut and chilling narrative that keeps the reader on edge.
This novel delivers both heart and tension, making it an excellent choice for fans of domestic thrillers with emotional complexity. Anya Mora proves herself a storyteller worth following, crafting a tale that lingers long after the final page.

Several unreliable narrator POV means the reader is left trying to figure out who is really tells the truth in this cat and mouse story of magically appearing objects. There’s loads of tricks involved and several red herrings to throw you off but you definitely have to suspend belief to get into the story but once you do that it’s a wild ride. The ending was predictable but it was still a fun journey to go on.
A woman who quickly gets into a relationship after the death of her husband despite the reservations of all those around her seems to be good to be true. And you know what they say about things that are too good to be true. Soon you are going down the rabbit hole of which details are relevant to the present day storyline because nothing is as it seems.
If you need a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat right up to the last page, don't miss this one!
Thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for this eArc in exchange for my review

A recent widow is just trying to survive in her new role as a single Mom when she accidentally finds love and gets engaged. However when her dead husband’s things start showing up around the house she becomes convinced someone is trying to torture her, reveal her secrets and ruin her chance at happiness. The past threatens her future. There are so many ways this one could go it kept me on the edge of my seat and I was still surprised! Fast paced and twisty just the way I like my thrillers!
Thank you to Bookouture and NetGallet for the ARC!

Love You to Death is a superb thriller!
When Anna gets engaged to Parker six months after her husband's death, strange things start to happen around her. Is her daughter Evie rebelling against her relationship? Is Parker not who he says he is? Or is it something more sinister?
This is one of the best books I've read in a while. It's got it all! A romance, mother-daughter dynamics, suspense! The story is a fast read, and straight to the point, but we still get a background story and excellent character development.
I loved that we got Anna's entire story from when she meets Parker to when... well, you will have to read this novel to find out!
An absolute page-turner.
(I edited my review to correct a word)

This is the 3rd book that I have read from this author and won't be my last. Each book gets you hooked right from the beginning. It centres around Anna and her teenage daughter Sadie who not long ago lost their dad in a tragic accident. By chance one day she meets a man and straighjt away they are drawn to one another.. it isn;t long before they are engaged and he moves in with them. What should have been a joyous occassion them planning their upcoming wedding soon starts to go wrong. Is she doing the right thing or has she made a mistake.
Brilliant book that I read in no time. If you havent read anything from this author before I highly recommend you try.

Just wow! Brand new to the Anya Mora party but I’m so happy to be here! This one started with a bang and stayed that way until the last page. Fantastic cast of characters that set the stage for this roller coaster of a journey. Excellent storytelling.
