There are so many great parts of this story taking shape and weaving their way around each other. I can't wait to read the rest of it and really think this will be a 5 star read. V.E. Schwab will do it again, no doubt! I want to know more about all of the three women that we've met so far and learned about their stories. Lesbian vampires, toxicity, violence.

Can't wait for more!

A very promising and intriguing start to this book. The narration is fantastic— having different narrators for the POVs really enhances the experience. I cannot wait for the full thing!

Based off of a short sneak peak, I can only really give a rating of how it’s going so far - a solid 3 stars but I have yet to get to the meaty bits.

The vibes and the writing does make it feel like this will end up being a 4 star book..

It is now release day and I will be reading on. I’ll come back here to update final thoughts once I’ve completed reading it.

Okay, I am obsessed! I need the rest of the book IMMEDIATELY! In my opinion, V.E. Schwab can do no wrong, but this might possibly be my new favorite!

While the arc is only the first 15 chapters, this was SO good to tide me over until the full release. I am SO SAT for this story, i preordered the audiobook so i can pick right up :)

A multiple POV of three women in Santo Domingo de la Calzada, 1532, London, 1837, and Boston, 2019. Bury Our Bones promises a tale woven together of women searching for freedom, revenge, and no regrets… oh, and did I mention this is a vampire book?
I’m interested in seeing how this book will come together. After listening to a sneak peek of this book (about 2 hrs - 12 chapters), I think the narration is well done, and it captures the essence of the characters well. I’m excited to see the characters transform more as their stories continue and connect. V.E. Schwab does a good job of bringing these different women to life and in setting three completely different times and story lines up to make you wonder how that connection will work. I need to get into the vampire bits ASAP. All vampire books have different lore and versions of vampires, and I’m excited to see V.E. Schwab’s take.

Is it crazy to give the book 5 stars even though I haven't finished it yet? I'm loving this book so far and I CAN NOT WAIT to get my hands on the rest of it. The narrators are amazing and are doing a phenomenal job bringing this story to life.

V E Schwab. is forever and always and auto buy author for me and this one is definitely no exception

V.E. Schwab is quickly becoming an auto-buy author for me! I love her works. I received a sneak peek of the audiobook version of this novel, and it was absolutely fantastic. She had me at vampires, but listening to the narrator establish the mystical setting was what truly showed me that I couldn't put this book down. Schwab's lyrical writing and ability to create atmosphere is second to none.

I can't wait to get my hands on the full book, adding to cart as we speak!

This is my first V.E. Schwab book and this audiobook immediately had me hooked. The narrators bring distinct accents that breathe life into this story of the female experience. I hope to do an immersive read (audio + written reading) once the book is released. The story goes back and forth between the different ages and the women in each timeline - this pacing is satisfactory and no one timeline overpowers the other. The tone for each woman is distinct and I am intrigued and hungry for their stories and appreciate how raw and honest they are about young womanhood. Just from this sneak peek, I can tell this is a story that supports "women's right and wrongs" - meaning that I seek justice for the women dismissed to only have worth as child-bearers and that women can't have "unladylike" attitudes/thoughts. I can't wait for the rest of the story!

Ahhh! This was such an amazing sneak peak! I can’t wait for the book to release tomorrow to listen to the rest! The narration has been amazing and the story just pulled me in!

I'm already obsessed and definitely need to continue reading the book! All three narrators in the audio book are fantastic, bringing the characters to life. The story is rich with intrigue and is perfect for fans of V.E. Schwab who particularly loved Addie LaRue, it doesn't hurt one of the narrators is Julia Whelan! I can't wait to find out what happens.

This audiobook sneak peek delivered! The narrators were great and I felt immersed in the story. Unfortunately, 12 chapters were not enough to get to the plot twist or understanding the connection between the girls. I look forward to reading or listening to the rest of the book!

This was a sneak peek - just the first twelve chapters...but wow I'm hooked and can't wait to hear more. Spain in the 1500s and Boston in the 2000s (we haven't gotten to London in the 1800s yet). I'm looking forward to seeing how they tie together. Great start!

I listened to a sneak peak of this book releasing tomorrow. Albeit just 12 chapters, this book was amazing and I couldn’t stop listening. It was engaging and informative. I can’t wait to finish this book. I find Maria’s story my favorite so far.

I was hooked immediately, and cannot wait to finish this audiobook when it’s finally out in the world. Love the characters we’ve met, so far. And i’m definitely intrigued to see where they go from here.

I thought this was a full audiobook, so I was disappointed when it was a sneak peek. The amount I was able to listen to was good and I did enjoy the narrator.

This 100% should be called a "tease" and not a sneak peek, because WHAT IS THAT?!?! So thankful I waited until the last minute to experience this because the way this book gripped me from page one and continued to grip its majestic fingers into me has me counting down until I can read the book at midnight.

I was worried about the various POV's in different timelines, but from what I have briefly tasted.... that wont be a problem what so ever. So thankful I had the foresight to order special editions of this book!!!

This teaser has me hooked and frothing for the release date!!! Lesbian vampires, say less, I am not usually one for period pieces and time jumping but this was written so well. I cannot wait to finish it!
