Luna loves ghosts. Her moms flip haunted houses, and Luna enjoys searching for ghosts. Unfortunately, she finds out that her moms fake the spooky noises, etc., and she's heartbroken. She exposes them on a livestream, with painful consequences for herself and her family.
Now they've moved into a new house. Luna starts having creepy experiences, but no one else seems to see anything. How can she prove to her moms that ghosts are real? How can she get them to listen to her and be a family again?
This delightful middle grades novel is one I would have loved to read as a child. It's engaging and the perfect blend of spooky and real. I highly recommend it for classroom and school libraries. I think it'll be a favorite.

Thanks to Bloomsbury and Netgalley for providing an ARC in exchange for this honest review.
In A Little Too Haunted, the daughter of two house flippers/phony paranormal investigators moves into her first real haunted house, and must contend with ghosts and supernatural phenomena even as no one believes her.
I found the haunted house flipping premise really fun—I myself loved haunted house/ghost hunting books back when I was a middle grade reader, and can easily see today’s middle grade readers enjoying this. Protagonist Luna is a potentially relatable portrayal of a 13-year-old—specifically one living with IBS, which is casually mentioned throughout. I suspect quite a few readers will get to see their experiences reflected there!
I also appreciated many of the little details, like the way social media is present in the story, and Luna having a stuffed animal named after an old crush. On the flip side, there were some big twists which I saw coming from miles away, but might not have back when I was a middle grade reader.
Overall a fun and suspenseful read!
