Thank you for the opportunity to preview Antihero. This is a series book and my first read. I think it’s best to start at the beginning,,’ however, it does not take long to understand what is happening.
Our protagonist is a good man who seeks and helps out those in need of help.
In doing so, he faces great challenges and struggles but manages to overcome them.
This series reminds me of the movie the Equalizer. Same type of genre. I read this book in one sitting
Fans of the Jane Whitfield series by Thomas Perry will enjoy these books.
Good writing and solid characters. 4 stars

Gregg Hurwitz’s latest installment, Antihero, will have fans turning the pages until the very end. I loved it!

This is the 11th book in the Orphan X series, and I highly recommend they be read in order. Evan is "The Nowhere Man" and is an 'Equalizer" type character and the plots of the books generally revolve around someone who is in trouble and calls in Evan for help. In this one he must find a gang of rapists and porn producers. The victim is a strong, young, religious woman who refuses to see herself as a victim, but rather someone who has been victimized. She has made Evan promise to not kill the men, forcing him to think about mercy and his own morals. The novels in the series, while unrealistic, have action, suspense, humour and a sense of justice and are very entertaining. Thank you to Edelweiss+ for the digital advance reading copy. I really enjoyed the book and have loved the series. 5/5 stars!
